Polyamide (PA) is one of five engineering plastic materials which has good mechanical properties and competitive price compared to other engineering plastics and it has various applications including in the areas of automotives, electronics and aerospace industry. Even though PA market grows fast compared to other engineering plastics, it has few organized literatures regarding researches and applications. In this paper, we review overall background, characteristics, formulation, current market trends and technology development of PA resins and their composites.

There is a limit manufacturing precast products for the construction industry using conventional cement concrete and precast iron due to many reasons. Therefore, precast product technologies using polymer concrete are widely developed across the world because using polymer concrete can be over come this limitation. This study reviewed and analyzed the trends of development and practical usages of ploymer concrete precast products in foreign countries based on selected literatures. It was observed that polymer concrete precast products have been widely used as utility structures wall and slab members. decoration products, traffic products, hydraulic structures and industry equipments.

This study investigates the literatures of leisure function and resource of the elderly to consider deeply the meaning of their leisure. In conclusion, this study presents the leisure of the elderly has both of positive and negative functions individually, socially and economically and they have the resources of individual, human and social as the usable resources for leisure but each of resources has disturbing restrictions. On the actual condition of elderly's leisure activity, they enjoy negatively like a watching TV and the using rate of leisure facilities is lower than other age groups.

We report a case of tenosynovial giant cell tumor with severe bone erosion in the right fifth finger of a 46-year-old man. Throughout this case review, we describe the imaging findings of tenosynovial giant cell tumor with severe bone erosion and review the literatures regarding osseous lesions caused by tenosynovial giant cell tumor and their significance related to the differential diagnosis and patient treatment.

This paper introduces different vectors of the reliability equivalence factors of a series system consists of n independent and nonidentical components. The failure rates of the system components are assumed to be constant. The reliability function and mean time to failure are used as performances to derive the reliability equivalences of the system. The results presented here generalize those available in the literatures. Numerical study is given to explain how one can utilize the theoretical results obtained.

Kimchi is a traditional fermented vegetable in Korea. It has unique taste and flavor due to the variability of raw vegetable, subingredient and their ratio of combination. Fermentation method have very critical effect on these charicteristics. Overall taste of Kimchi is also influenced by texture. In this paper, the changes in texture of Kimchis were reviewed related to pectic substance, enzymatic activities and other chemical changes during the fermentation of Kimchi. Moreover, treatments to prevent softening of Kimchi texture such as preheating, CaCl$_2$ addition, their combination effect and chitosan addition were summarized from the literatures.

Combined intrauterine and extrauterine pregnancy is rare, occuring 1 in 30,000 pregnancies. The early diagnosis of combined pregnancy is very difficult, and so there is a higher maternal morbidity and fetal loss. Recently the incidence of combined pregnancy is increased. We experienced a case of combined intrauterine and right tubal pregnancy, and this case was presented with a brief review of the literatures.

This study is to propose the minimalism, which swept the modern society of the 20th century, in fashion illustration with an asymmetric composition adding the globalized oriental taste in the 21th century. To do this, this study reviews various literatures and real materials reflecting the minimalism in art, architecture and fashion, defines aesthetic characteristics of the minimalism in each area, then based on the results, creates a basic unit of a fashion illustration and finally bring 6 works of the unit together to an integral fashion illustration while adding several oriental features.

Many types for environmental pollutant of endocrine disruptors have been reported on abnormal sexual development and abnormal feminizing responses of animals in a number of literatures [1]. Conventional biological methods for the removal of pollutants in wastewater require long times, and chemical oxiation methods in general cannot completely eliminate.(omitted)
