Despite the incidence of tuberculosis has been greatly reduced with chemotherpy, it is still a common disease in Korea. The pharyngeal and laryngeal tuberculosis usually result from direct contamination of the laryngeal or pharyngeal mucosa by sputum heavily laden with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, secondary infection from the lungs via lymphatic or hematogenous routes, or a primary affection from inhaled tubercle bacilli. Recently the authors experienced a pharyngolaryngeal tuberculosis and report this case with brief literatures review.

Performance assessment is one of the authentic assessment method that are consistent with new curriculum goal, concentrated on the process rather than the results of problem solving. But the key to good assessment is matching the assessment task to intended objectives. Based on the review of literatures, the current performance assessment task was critically analysed. As a result, this study developed appropriate model and criteria of performance assessment task to elementary mathematics.

The characteristics of slow wave structure employed for backward wave oscillators expected to be a high power microwave source are studied analytically and experimentary. The slow wave structure is a sinusoidally corrugated wall waveguide The dispersion relationn and transmitted characteristics for microwaves are measured in the air. There exist literatures on high efficiency of enhanced radiation from backward wave oscillators involving plasma studied experimentally.

The drying shrinkage of concrete has a close relation to the water movement, Since the diffusion process of water in concrete is strongly dependent on the temperature and pore humidity, the process is highly nonlinear phenomena. It is shown that the analytical results of this study are in good agreement with experimental data in the literatures, and results calculated by BP-KX model. The internal stress caused by moisture distribution which was resulted from the diffusion process, was calculated quantitatively. The tensile stress which occurred in the drying outer zone mostly exceeded the tensile strength of concrete, and necessarily would result in crack formation.

With Zohar(1980)'s research on safety climate and industrial safety, occupational safety and health literatures begin to emphasize the influence of organizational context. Based on this research trend, this paper tried to review the relationship between individual/ organizational factors and occupational accidents. Based on the responses from 643 manufacturing workers, this paper reviewed the relationship between antecedents(safety knowledge, safety motivation, safety education, and safety precaution activity) and safety consequences(accident parts, accident number, resting days). The results of statistical analysis showed that many antecedents have significantly negative relationships with safety consequences.

우리나라 김치 종류에 대한 문헌적 고찰들을 종합하고 지난 200년 사이에 일어난 김치제조기술의 변화를 조사하였다. 또한 최근의 과학적 방법에 의한 김치 연구결과 중에서 김치의 품질에 영향을 미치는 요소들, 특히 맛, 영양, 안전성, 저장성에 관한 재검토를 시도하였다.

In order to investigate IS(Information Systems) outsourcing cost estimation model preference of firms, this study reviews previous literatures on outsourcing and firm characteristics. The relationships between firm characteristics and IS outsourcing cost estimation model preference are analysed. Four major factors of firms characteristics are found and classified. IS outsourcing cost estimation model with SLA are found to have a strong relationship with organizational culture. Future research will be needed to verify the result of this exploratory study.
