  • Protein glycosylation is the most common posttranslational modification in mammalian cells. Aberrant protein glycosylation has been reported in various diseases, including cancer. We identified and quantified the glycan structures of O-linked glycoprotein from cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) cell lines from different histological types and compared their profiles by nanospray ionization-linear ion trap mass spectrometry (NSI-$MS^n$). Five human CCA cell lines, K100, M055, M139, M213 and M214 were characterized. The results showed that the O-linked glycans of the CCA cell lines comprised tri- to hexa-saccharides with terminal galactose and sialic acids: NeuAc1Gal1GalNAc1, Gal2GlcNAc1GalNAc1, NeuAc2Gal1GalNAc1 NeuAc1Gal2GlcNAc1GalNAc1 and NeuAc2Gal2GlcNAc1GalNAc1 All five CCA cell lines showed a similar glycan pattern, but with differences in their quantities. NeuAc1Gal1GalNAc1 proved to be the most abundant structure in poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma (K100; 57.1%), moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma (M055; 42.6%) and squamous cell carcinoma (M139; 43.0%), while moderately to poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma (M214; 40.1%) and adenosquamous cell carcinoma (M213; 34.7%) appeared dominated by $NeuA_{c2}Gal_1GalNA_{c1}$. These results demonstrate differential expression of the O-linked glycans in the different histological types of CCA. All five CCA cell lines have abundant terminal sialic acid (NeuAc) O-linked glycans, suggesting an important role for sialic acid in cancer cells. Our structural analyses of glycans may provide important information regarding physiology of disease-related glycoproteins in CCA.

  • There are many researches to identify the rigid body properties from the mass-line obtained by impact hammer testing. The correct rigid body properties of the structure may be estimated if the mass-line of the structure could be obtained exactly. When the structure is mounted by elastic materials, the mass-line cannot be read correctly from the impulse response spectrum. The reason is due to the effects of rigid body modes of mounted structure. In this paper, the effects of rigid body modes of mounted structure to the mass-line are discussed and the method to remove these effects is also presented.

  • We studied a fine-scale half ring-like structure around a pore seen from the high spectral and the high spatial resolution data. Our observations were carried out using the Fast Imaging Solar Spectrograph (FISS) and the InfraRed Imaging Magnetograph (IRIM) installed at the 1.6 meter New Solar Telescope of Big Bear Solar Observatory (BBSO) on 2012 July 19. During the observations, we found a fine-scale half ring-like structure located very close to a pore (~0.4 arcsec apart from the pore). It was seen in the far wing images of the $H{\alpha}$ and Ca II $8542{\AA}$ lines, but it was not seen in the line center images of two lines. The length of the structure is about 4200 km and the width is about 350 km. We determined its line-of-sight velocity using the Doppler shift of the centroid of the Ti II line ($6559.6{\AA}$, close to the $H{\alpha}$ line) and determined horizontal velocity using the NAVE method. we also investigated the magnetic configurations using the Stokes I, Q, U, and V maps of the IRIM. As a results, we found that it has a high blue-shift velocity (~2km) faster than the photospheric features and has a strong horizontal component of the magnetic field. Based on our findings, we suggest that it is associated with small flux emergence, which occurs very close to the pore. Even though it is very small structure, this kind of magnetic configuration can be in chare of the upper chromosphere heating, especially above the pore.

  • This paper proposed the band pass filter(BPF) with feeding structure using $\pi$-type transmission line by means of transforming the input/output coupled-lines of the half wavelength parallel coupled-line BPF into K-inverter, then substituting $\pi$-type transmission line equivalence for K-inverter. The proposed method supplies solution with what the half wavelength parallel coupled-line BPF's input/output coupled-lines are realized. Also it can quite reduce efforts and time needed to optimize filter performance when is compared to reported method using tapped line structure because formulas is very simple and accurate. On the basic of the proposed method, the BPF with feeding structure using $\pi$-type transmission line has been designed and fabricated. The validity of proposed method was proven by the measured result.

  • Pixel structure of the fringe-field switching (FFS) mode to improve transmittance has been studied. New FFS structures related to the electrode structure at the edges of pixel, and the pixel electrode width and distance between electrodes was optimized. The former improves transmittance by minimizing the region of disclination lines. The latter improves it by increasing light efficiency above center of electrodes and also response time.

  • ·The potent antitumor activities of 3-arylisoquinolines promoted us to explore the structure-activity relationship of these compounds. A series of 3-arylisoquinoline derivatives were evaluated for antitumor cytotoxicity against human lung tumor cell (A 549). For the next stage, we decided to prepare the constrained form of 3-arylisoquinolines as indeno[1,2-c]isoquinolines. As a result, diverse spectrum against human tumor cell lines was obtained. In order to study structure-activity relationship (SAT) of these compounds the comparative molecular field analysis (CoMFA) was carried out. (omitted)

  • In this paper, we reported an outbreak of fire hazard of ballast for fluorescent lamp. The surface structure and composition of ballast coil analyzed by using metallurgical microscope, scanning electron microscope(SEM) and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy(EDX). The surface of molten mark appeared columnar structure and void. EDX analysis indicated that the molten mark spectra were composed not only of the corresponding original spectra but also of several new lines.

  • Partitioning problem of large combinational logic has been studied in real world. Most of logic include undectable faults from the structure of it's redundant, fan-out-reconvergent, and symetrical feature. BPT algorithm is proposed to enhance the fault voverage for combinational logic partitioning. This algorithm partitions the logic by cut the lines related to undetectable structure when seperating. Controllability and observability are considered in the process of partitioning. This algorithm is evaluated effective by testing ISCAS85 circuits.

  • LiDAR data is very large, which contains an amount of redundant information. The information not only takes up a lot of storage space but also brings much inconvenience to the LIDAR data transmission and application. Therefore, a simplified method was proposed for LiDAR data based on quad-tree structure in this paper. The boundary contour lines of the buildings are displayed as building extraction. Experimental results show that the method is efficient for point's simplification according to the rule of mapping.

  • THe Purpose of this paper is to match the feature point of man-made structure and to obtain the DEM which are occluded in a image plane. We use the trinocular matching with epipolar lines and planes. If an occlusion appears at one of the trinocular images, the DEM mapping is used to estimate the height of feature points in it.
