A study on the slip frequency control of linear induction motor for magnetic levitation transit (자기 부상 열차용 리니어모터의 슬립 주파수 제어에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, a variety of characteristics is considered when LIM for transit is driven with acceleration and deceleration. From the characteristics of constant voltage, with V/f ratio fixed, slip frequency is derived. With slip frequency of 12[Hz] and objective velocity of 40[km/h], the robust control characteristics which are generated constant thrust and normal force, except for open-loop control interval, are obtained.

  • This paper presents a fundanental method to analyze and design a Single-sided Linear Induction Motor(SLIM) as a propulsion system for magnetic levitation vehicles of DAEJEON EXPO'93 in Korea. The performance characteristics of the designed SLIM are examinated by the thrust force, the normal force, the efficiency and the power factor according to the change of input frequency. The dimension of the SLIM is 1792mm long ${\times}$ 200mm width ${\times}$ 58mm high and the rated thrust is 1300 Newtons at the operating speed of 40 Km/h.

  • 원통 모양의 선형 유도 전동기를 구성하고 코일의 밖에 위치한 코일에 전류가 유도되며 이때 코일의 축방향과 이에 수직인 방향으로 힘이 유도되며, 이때 힘의 특성이 유도 전동기의 특성을 지님을 밝혀 내었다. 이 힘은 두 코일의 축이 어긋나서 생기는 힘과, 드라이브 코일의 open slit의 정도에 따라 다른 것을 밝혔다.

  • This paper describes the optimization of design variables of SLIM using finite element method and SUMT(Sequential Unconstrained Minimization Technique). Thrust is taken as an objective function in order to maximize thrust under constant current drive, and seven independent design variables and nine constraints are chosen. As a result, $\tau$/g(pole pitch/airgap) and $\tau$/$d_{AL}$(pole pitch/aluminum depth) of good criteria in SLIM design are determined.

  • This paper proposes the track layout criterion for the LRT(light rail transit). All criterions established concerning dimension and performance of LRT vehicles that are three types. Types of vehices are AGT(automated guided train) steel wheel. AGT rubber tire and LIM(linear induction motor). Using theoritical approach, adaptation and validity of criterions are verified. Proposed criterions may provide a standard scheme for design and construction of the infrastructure on LRT.

  • 본 논문은 기존의 복잡한 구조의 전통적인 엘리베이터 도어의 문제점을 개선한 리니어유도모터(LIM)를 적용한 단순 메커니즘 구조와 직접 구동의 신개념의 엘리베이터 도어시스템의 개발에 관한 것으로 최적의 도어 구조와 리니어모터의 설계, 벡터제어에 의한 고성능 구동제어기 및 최적 운전 패턴을 제안하였다. 또한 본 논문에서는 제안된 리니어도어시스템의 설계와 제작과정에 대해서 자세히 서슬하며 실제 제작되어 분석과 시험에 의해 성능을 검증하고자 한다.

  • The electromagnetic pump can transfer molten metals by the electromagnetic force of LIM for molten metals, which are zinc, tin and aluminum. The speed and quantity of the flow are analyzed using magnetohydrodynamics. The molten zinc is used in the experiment and the experimental results are compared with the analysis.

  • This paper presents the characteristics analysis of an electromagnetic pump using a linear induction motor(LTM). The characteristics of the pump for three molten metals Is analyzed by the magneto hydro dynamics: flow velocity, flow mass and etc. The result of the analysis is that the flow velocity for three molten metals is over 0.3[m/s] at the center of duct.
