BCB를 이용한 High & Low$Z_0$전송선로 제작에 대한 연구 (Studies on the fabrication of transmission line with high and low $Z_0$ using BCB layer)

  • In this paper, transmission lines with low and high characteristic impedance (Z$_{0}$) are fabricated and analyzed. The transmission lines are fabricated on the benzo-cyclo-butene (BCB) films of a low dielectric constant. For the low Z$_{0}$, two types of coplanar waveguide (CPW) structures are fabricated, which include bottom-ground and double-ground type. Measurement shows that Z$_{0}$ values for each CPW type are 7.3 and 9.4$\Omega$, respectively, at a signal line width of 100 #m. Whit the ratio between the spacing of bottom-ground and the signal line with becomes greater than 2.5, the Z$_{0}$ is nearly saturated. In addition, thin film microstrip lines fabricated using the BCB insertion layers show very low Z$_{0}$ of 25.5$\Omega$, and this impedance is ~64 % of the values obtained from the BCB-based CPW structures of the same line width. Measurement result of CPW on BCB layer is 100.5 Ω.s 100.5 Ω.

실측 동기화 데이터를 활용한 교류전기철도의 고장점표정장치 임피던스 예측기법 연구 (Study on the Railway Fault Locator Impedance Prediction Method using Field Synchronized Power Measured Data)

  • 전철화 확대의 영향으로 전차선로 변의 고장발생 빈도는 지속적으로 증가하여, 고장위치를 표정하는 시스템의 중요도는 향상되고 있다. 그럼에도 전차선로의 정확한 고장위치 표정은 매우 어려운 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 기존 회로방정식으로 제안된 전차선로 임피던스 계산이론에 대해 현장실측 데이터를 활용하여 보편화 정리하고 변전소 및 운행차량의 전압, 전류 데이터를 동기화 실측하여 전차선로의 임피던스를 예측 하였다. 또한 예측된 전차선로 임피던스값의 유효성 확인을 위해 동일지점에서 열차전류에 따른 임피던스 변화 정도를 시뮬레이션으로 확인하였다. 끝으로 측정 데이터와 지락시험을 통한 데이터를 비교 분석하였다. 본 기법은 강제지락시험, 인공지락시험을 통해 임피던스를 예측하는 현행 방식 대비 열차운행 중단 없이 다수의 데이터를 확보할 수 있고 시간경과에 따른 임피던스 변화에 대해서도 신속하고 편리하게 대응할 수 있는 장점이 있는 것으로 판단된다.

  • In the power-line communication(PLC) systems, the power line is a wired medium. However, the power line channel has the multi-path fading characteristics like the wireless channel in the wireless communication systems because it has the signal reflection and divergence by the impedance mismatching between many branch lines and loads. So the analysis of the multi-path characteristics is very important, and it has been doing by the several measurement methods for the impulse response between the transmitter and the receiver. PN sequence method has originally been used as a wideband impulse response measurement mettled for wireless channel, but it is recently being applied to not only the wireless channel but also the wired channel like the power line channel. This method is more useful and effective for the long distance communication channel like the medium voltage power distribution line with the multi-paths[1]. In this thesis, we have measured impulse response for the medium voltage power distribution line channel by the wideband measurement method using PN sequence, analytically studied the measured data and presented the results.

  • This study presents a simulation of the traction return current based on $2{\times}25kV$ power supply system in order to determine the impedance bond intensity of impulse type track circuit on the electrified Gyeongbu line. The results of the simulation enables us to measure the precise intensity of catenary current that returns to the substation through KTX (Korean Train Express) operated by $2{\times}25kV$ power supply system with common earth network. The combination of $2{\times}25kV$ and common earth network established on the electrified Gyeongbu line for the first time in Korea.   • In this letter, a novel compact duplexer which consists of Tx and Rx Filter using microstrip line ${\lambda}/4$ resonators with a pair of tap-connected open-ended stepped impedance stubs is designed. The tapped open stubs not only work as K-inverters but also introduce attenuation poles, attenuation poles are located at upper and lower side of the passband by adjusting the open stub length and width. The result of measurement duplexer has been yielded better isolation and sharper skirt behavior than that with a conventional bandpass filter and similar to those of simulation results.

  • Fall-of-potential method is used usually to measure the ground impedance of large scale grounding system exactly. Because the interlinked magnetic flux between closed loops to inject test current and to measure potential rise is existed in E-P-C straight line arrangement, mutual(or inductive) coupling influences greatly on the measurement correctness. Measurement errors produced from inductive coupling could be reduced by the arrangement methods of auxiliary electrodes. Right angle or P-E-C order arrangement methods were effective to reduce the inductive coupling and the decrease degree of measurement error was analysed as quantitative through an experiment.

A Communicationless PCC Voltage Compensation Using an Improved Droop Control Scheme in Islanding Microgrids

  • This paper proposes a point of common coupling (PCC) voltage compensation method for islanding microgrids using an improved power sharing control scheme among distributed generators (DGs) without communication. The PCC voltage compensation algorithm is implemented in the droop control scheme to reduce the PCC voltage deviation produced by the droop controller itself and the voltage drop on the line impedance. The control scheme of each individual DG unit is designed to use only locally measured feedback variables and an obtained line impedance to calculate the PCC voltage. Therefore, traditional voltage measurement devices installed at the PCC as well as communication between the PCC and the DGs are not required. The proposed control scheme can maintain the PCC voltage amplitude within an allowed range even to some extent assuming inaccurate line impedance parameters. In addition, it can achieve proper power sharing in islanding microgrids. Experimental results obtained under accurate and inaccurate line impedances are presented to show the performance of the proposed control scheme in islanding microgrids.

임피던스 측정을 통한 레일절손 검지에 관한 연구 (Study on Detection of Broken Rail Using Impedance Measurement)

  • 본 논문에서는 임피던스 측정을 통한 레일절손을 검지하는 방법에 대해서 제시하도록 한다. 일반적으로 레일절손은 궤도회로를 통해 실시간으로 판단을 하나 궤도회로를 사용하지 않고 레일의 임피던스를 측정함으로 인해서 절손유무와 절손위치를 추정하였다. 레일의 한쪽에 병렬공진을 발생시켜 전기적으로 절연을 함으로써 다른쪽 레일의 임피던스가 측정되도록하였다. 측정된 임피던스가 인덕턴스 성분을 가지면 레일의 절손이 존재하지 않으며, 캐패시턴스 성분을 가지면 레일의 절손이 발생하게된다. 전송선로모델을 이용하여 제시한 구조를 모델링하였으며, 모델링을 통해 임피던스 값에 따라 절손위치가 추정가능함을 보였다. 실제 60m 레일 모형에 대해서 제안한 방법으로 임피던스를 측정하였으며, 임피던스 값에 따라 절손유무가 판단이 되는 것을 확인하였다.

  • A simulation on bootstrapping circuit has been performed by modelling a coaxial cable as a transmission line. It is shown that the bootstrapping circuit could be unstable due to the transmission line effect though an ideal amplifier is used. While the conventional bootstrapping circuit does not cancel the input capacitance of the input buffer, a new bootstrapping circuit that cancels input capacitance of the input buffer has been proposed. The proposed bootstrapping circuit consists of the input buffer of which gam is larger than 1 and a feedback resistor to control the loop gain. The proposed bootstrapping circuit has higher input impedance than that of the conventional circuit.

  • An effective method is described for monitoring the ground impedance of intelligent building and power system. Most of grounding system of buildings are interconnected to extensive grounding network of power line, signal and control line, telecommunication line, and etc. Therefore, the residual voltages of power frequency and its harmonics may have an significant influence on the accurate measurement of ground impedance. For eliminating the influence of residual voltage, we developed a test power source for generating the 110[Hz] square wave and used digital filtering method in this research.
