본 논문에서는 최근 광대역 무선 가입자망으로 각광받고 있는 LMDS(Local Multipoint distribution Service)시스템에서 Head-End 의 AIU(Air Interface Unit)와 HUB 사이의 거리에 따른 전송지연 시간과 HUB 와 가입자 장치(CPE:Customer Premises Equipment)내의 NIU(Network Interface Unit)간의 전송 지연 시간에 의하여 서비스 반경이 제한되어 지는 것에 관하여 살펴보고 적절한 서비스 반경에 대하여 제안하였다.

Lighting is one of the largest energy, integrated lighting system with daylight and artificial lighting has been suggested. In such system, perimeter zone can be illuminated by daylighting and the deep area of room by artificial lighting. So, the study is to develope estimation nomograph of lighting energy by turnning-off depth and lighting control systems during daytime. For the purpose, energy nomograph has been developed to apply to side-lit office guilding and the use and limitation of the nomograph has been discussed.

We have developed a new device, Plate-to-CCD Convertor (PCC), to conveniently digitize photographic plates in a relatively short time without losing any plate information (Oh et al. 1995). Using this device we have performed surface photometry of 12 early type galaxies. We determined relative orientations and scales to analyze PCC images. We also determined an ellipticity, position angle of the major axis, and $a_4$ of each galaxy to quantify the distribution of surface brightness. We checked the performance and limitation of this device by comparing the PCC images with those digitized by the ST microdensitometer and those obtained with CCD observations.

In spite of the powerfulness for the simultaneous study of proteome expression and post-translational modification, 2-D PAGE has inevitable limitation on detect low aboundant proteins. Since many of the low abundant proteins are likely to have very important regulatiory functions in cells, separation and analysis of low copy number proteins is an important issue in proteome studies and challenge for 2-D techniques. Among various methods developed to detect low abundant proteins, electrophoretic protein prefractionation, chromatographic protein prefractionation, and subcellular fractionation are explained in this paper. Their practical strengths and weaknesses are also explained with current research trends.

$\cdot$ Arthroscopic management is the effective method with acceptable results for coronoid impingement of stiff elbow contributing to the functional improvement and pain relief. $\cdot$ The functional improvement and pain relief seem to be affected by the severity of a degenerative change of the elbow joint. $\cdot$ Excision of coronoid process is required in a marked limitation of further flexion in addition to deeping of the coronoid fossa and anterior capsular release. $\cdot$ Excision of olecranon tip or posterior capsular release are effective method in severe flexion contracture.

The reliable authentication of a communicating party and a network component is an essential factor to achieve the security in a computer network. The Kerberos Authentication Services has been the most successful solution which is widely used today but its requirement for synchronized clocks has been a serious limitation to use it. In this paper we presented an extended Kerberos method which avoids the synchronization requirement for a single-time ticket user. We modified the Kerberos protocol minimally by replacing the synchronization requirement with the challenge-response method.

Due to the current limitation on network bandwidth, it is difficult to get the video files of interests from the server by downloading/streaming. To solve this problem, we propose a scheme for generating a virtual single video in the client side by downloading the selected video segments and the corresponding metadata from the server. Our system is based MPEG-7 standard on the multimedia metadata. The experimental system demonstrates the feasibility of our approach.

Production, utilization and related regulation of refuse derived fuel in Korea have been discussed in this paper. Also, the expected future of RDF has been discussed. Although the interest about RDF has been increased continuously , there are many things that must be solved for the development of RDF industry. Compared with other developed country, inadequacy of regulation about RDF and the lack of possible utilization facility make the limitation for the development of RDF industry.

A robust controller design to corrdinate a robot manipulator under unknown system parameters and bounded disturbance inputs is presented in this paper. Generally, robust controllers require high input torque so that they may face input saturation in actual application due to the power limitation of the actuator. To solve this problem, an improved robust controller with saturated input torque using a fuzzy logic control is proposed. Numerical examples are shown to validate the proposed controller using two degree-of-freedom planar arm.
