Limit-cycle 항법의 동역학적 안정성 분석 (Analysis of Dynamic Stability of Limit-cycle Navigation Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 Limit-cycle 항법의 안정성을 분석하고 path follwer를 제안한다. Limit-cycle 항법은 2차 비선형 함수의 특징을 이용하며, 빠른 이동로봇의 움직임을 제어하기 위해 제안되어졌다. Limit-cycle의 수렴반경과 방향을 조절하여 충돌 없이 장애물을 회피하고, 목표점에 도달할 수 있다. 하지만 지금까지 Limit-cycle 항법의 안정성은 연구되어지지 않았다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 안정성을 분석하고, Limit-cycle 항법을 로봇축구에 적용하여, 시뮬레이션과 실제 실험에서 제안된 방법을 검증한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 동적인 환경에서 돌발 장애물을 회피하는 방법으로 Nearness Diagram, Limit-Cycle 및 벡터장법을 혼합한 새로운 항법을 제안한다. Limit-Cycle 항법은 정면장애물을 회피 하는데 사용되고, 벡터장법은 측면장애물을 회피 하는데 이용된다. 그리고 Nearness Diagram 항법은 로봇의 근접지역장애물을 회피하는데 사용된다. 제안된 항법은 시뮬레이션을 통해 그 성능을 증명하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel navigation method combined limit-cycle method and the vector field method for avoidance of unexpected obstacles in the dynamic environment. The limit-cycle method is used to obstacle avoidance in front of the robot and the vector field method is used to obstacle avoidance in the side of robot. The proposed method is tested on pioneer 2-DX mobile robot. The simulations and experiments demonstrate in the effectiveness of the proposed method for navigation of a mobile robot in the complicated and dynamic environments.

  • This UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) is not only widely used in various practical applications but is also currently being researched in many disciplines. In particular, obstacle avoidance is considered one of the most important technologies in the navigation of an unmanned vehicle. In this paper, we introduce a simple algorithm for path planning in order to reach a destination while avoiding a polygonal-shaped static obstacle. To effectively avoid such an obstacle, a path planned near the obstacle is much shorter than a path planned far from the obstacle, on the condition that both paths guarantee that the robot will not collide with the obstacle. So, to generate a path near the obstacle, we have developed an algorithm that combines an edge detection method and a limit-cycle navigation method. The edge detection method, based on Hough Transform and IR sensors, finds an obstacle's edge, and the limit-cycle navigation method generates a path that is smooth enough to reach a detected obstacle's edge. And we proposed novel algorithm to solve local minima using the virtual wall in the local vision. Finally, we verify performances of the proposed algorithm through simulations and experiments.

  • A mobile robot should be designed to navigate with collision avoidance capability in the real world, coping with the changing environment flexibly. In this paper, a novel navigation method is proposed for fast moving mobile robots using limit-cycle characteristics of the 2nd-order nonlinear function. It can be applied to robots in dynamically changing environment such as the robot soccer. By adjusting the radius of the motion circle and the direction of the obstacle avoidance, the mobile robot can avoid the collision with obstacles and move to the destination point. To demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability, it is applied to the robot soccer. Simulations and real experiments ascertain the merits of the proposed method.

  • This paper deals with the enhancement of the complex potential navigation for wheeled mobile robots. The circle theorem from complex function theory is used to avoid an obstacle, and the enhancement to avoid multiple obstacles is proposed. The limit cycle navigation can be combined for robot to kick the ball to the intentioned direction. Avoiding step and superposing twin vortices can be applied to adjust the direction of robot's trajectory. The proposed method is verified through a set of simulation works, and the feasibilities for the enhancement of complex potential theory are successful.

베지어 곡선을 이용한 로봇 축구 항법의 개선 (An Improvement of Navigation in Robot Soccer using Bezier Curve)

  • This paper suggests a new method for making a navigation path by using Bezier curve in order to improve the navigation performance used to avoid obstacles during a robot soccer game. We analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of both vector-field and limit-cycle navigation methods, which are the mostly widely used navigation methods for avoiding obstacles. To improve the disadvantages of these methods, we propose a new design technique for generating a more proper path using Bezier curve and describe its advantages. Using computer simulations and experiments, we compare the performance of vector-field navigation with that of Bezier curve navigation. The results prove that the navigation performance using Bezier curve is relatively superior to the other method.

  • 일반적으로 서보 제어 시스템에서 비선형 동적 특성을 갖는 마찰력은 제어기 성능에 악영향을 미친다. 특히, 선형으로 고려된 시스템에 제어기 이득을 잘 설계한다 하더라도 마찰 현상에 포함된 동적으로 변화하는 dead zone에 의한 정상상태 오차 및 리미트 사이클(limit Cycle) 등을 야기한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 비선형 동적 마찰 성분을 효과적으로 보상하고 적응적으로 제어함으로써 차세대 항만 자동화 이송시스템으로 주목받고 있는 LMTT(linear motor-based transfer technology) 시스템의 위치 정밀도를 향상시키는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 본 제어대상은 셔틀카(shuttle car)와 컨테이너들의 다양한 중량과, 이로 인해 발생하는 동적 마찰 특성 파라미터들의 변화가 발생하므로 마찰력 내부 파라미터들의 추정이 요구된다. 제안하는 방법은 적응 backstepping 제어 기법으로 시스템이 안정하게 제어될 수 있는 조건으로 내부 파라미터 추정기를 설계하여 비선형 동적 마찰력을 보상하도록 하였다.

The flow of studies, in connection with these competitive advantage, come into industries competitive advantage from national competitive advantage. It is understood that the flow of studies is based on the change of paradigm about the international industry environment. Today, the international industry environment has been changed into vigorous situation with the new trade system such as globalization, UR negotiation, WTO system instead of GATT. Among these environments, all enterprises in any industries should try to enhance their benefit, income profits and develop their management strategy, because it is essential for them to keep and make a profit in order to be competitive against all other rivaling enterprises. According to researchers and the ages of history, the concept and determinants of competitive advantage have been dissimiliar as followings. 1) Theory of absolute advantage : Absolute Product Cost. 2) Theory of comparative advantage : Comparative Product Cost. 3) Theory of reciprocal demand : the Reciprocal Demand Structure. 4) Theory of Hechsher-Ohlin : Factor Endowment. 5) Paradox of Leontief : the Quality of Factor Endowment. 6) Theory of technological gap : R & D. 7) Technological gap model : The Technological Gap. 8) Theory of the product life cycle : Product Life Cycle. 9) Christensen's study : Firm's character & manager's character. 10) Monopolistic Advantage Theories : Monopolistic Advantage 11) Electic theory : Ownership, location and internalization specific advantages. 12) Theory of value chain : Cost advantage, Differentiation, Focus. However all these theories have the limit of illustration regarding today's competitive situation, the Porter's theory shows well the determinants of competitive advantage with competitive strategy. 특정목적 수행을 위한 임베디드 시스템 플랫폼의 최적 선택 (An Optimal Selection of Embedded Platform for Specific Applications)

  • 본 논문은 특정목적의 수행을 위해 설계될 임베디드 플랫폼의 효율적인 선택에 관하여 다룬다. 특히, 영상 및 음향 신호 처리를 통해 실시간 상황인지를 목적으로 하는 차량 시스템을 예로 들어 설명한다. 실험을 위하여 검증된 성능평가 프로그램들 중에서 응용목적에 맞는 프로그램을 선택한 후 시뮬레이터를 사용하여 ARM7, ARM9, ARM10 프로세서 코어를 기준으로 코드 및 데이터 메모리 크기, 명령어 수, 실행 사이클을 측정하였다. 이 연구에서 제안된 방법으로 특정목적을 수행하기 위한 하드웨어 최소사양이 측정 가능하였으며, 이 결과는 설계 및 구현에 많은 시간이 소요되는 임베디드 시스템의 설계단계에서 시스템의 목적 수행에 필요한 플랫폼 사양을 도출하여 효율적인 플랫폼선택의 기준을 제시하는 것이 가능함을 보였다.
