SF6/CO2혼합기체 중에서 뇌임펄스코로나방전의 특성 (Characteristics of lightning Impulse Corona Discharges in SF6/CO2 Mixtures)

  • 본 논문은 불평등 전계의 $SF_6/CO_2$혼합기체 중에서 전구방전특성에 대한 실험결과를 제시한다. 임펄스 전구방전 진전을 코로나 전류와 방전광 이미지의 측정으로 조사하였다. 정 부극성의 전구방전 진전메커니즘은 기본적으로 같았으며, 초기스트리머코로나는 침전극의 끝단에서 발단되어 계단상으로 진전하는 리더에 의해 시험갭을 교락시킨다. 정극성에서 리더펄스의 휴지시간은 부극성에서보다 매우 짧았다. 또한 부극성에서 초기스트리머코로나와 절연파괴사이의 시간간격은 정극성에서보다 매우 길게 나타났다. 정극성에서 방전채널경로는 임의적으로 나타났으며, 부극성에서 리더 채널은 정극성에서 보다 굵고 밝게 나타났다.

  • 현대 산업사회가 발달함에 따라 대기오염이 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있다. 특히 미세먼지에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있고 미세먼지를 측정하기 위해 여러 종류의 센서가 사용되고 있다. 이 중 가장 보편적으로 사용되는 적외선 미세먼지 센서는 적외선 송, 수신기를 통해 빛의 회절을 탐지하여 공기 중의 먼지에 의해 반사되는 빛을 감지하는 방식으로 동작한다. 하지만 이런 방식은 계측 시 잡음으로 인한 편차가 발생하여 정확한 데이터 분석이 어려운 단점이 있다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 본 논문에서는 FIR(Finite Impulse Response) 필터의 저역통과필터 알고리즘을 적용하여 구현하였다.

  • This paper presents the experimental results on the preliminary breakdown characteristics under a highly non-uniform electric field in $SF_6/CO_2$ gas mixtures. The impulse preliminary breakdown developments are investigated by the measurements of corona current and light emission images. As a result, the preliminary breakdown development mechanisms for both positive and negative polarities are same. The first streamer corona is initiated at the tip of needle electrode, and the leaders develop with a stepwise propagation and bridge the test gap. The pause time of leader pulses in the positive polarity is significantly shorter than that in the negative polarity. Also, the time interval between the first streamer corona onset and breakdown in the negative polarity was much longer than that in the positive polarity The discharge channel paths in the positive polarity were zigzag. On the other hands, the leader channel in the negative polarity was thicker than that in the positive polarity.

  • 액체 추진 로켓을 구동하는 충동형 터빈은 크기가 작고 가벼워야 하며 큰 출력을 발생시켜야 한다. 충동형 터빈은 초음속 조건에서 작동되기 때문에 유동 특성이 매우 복잡하여 성능 예측은 주로 수치해석에 의존해 왔다. 그러나 신뢰성을 확보하기 위하여는 해석결과를 실험으로 검증하는 과정이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 설계에 사용되는 주요 변수들의 영향을 확인하기 위하여 회전하는 3차원 축류 터빈을 2차원 형상으로 모사하여 실험하였다. 먼저 노즐 출구에서의 마하수를 측정하였으며, 이론적인 노즐 추력식을 유도하여 터빈 블레이드에 작용하는 깃하중을 계산하였고 측정된 결과와 비교하였다. 또한 추력 계수를 구하고 이를 통해 터빈 출력을 예측하여 설계 요구 조건의 타당성을 확인하였다

  • In applying LCD to TV application, one of the most significant factors to be improved is image sticking on the moving picture. LCD is different from CRT in the sense that it's continuous passive device, which holds images in entire frame period, while impulse type device generate image in very short time. To reduce image sticking problem related to hold type display mode, we made an experiment to drive TN-LCD like CRT. We made articulate images by turn on-off backlight, and we realized the ratio of Back Light on-off time by counting between on time and off time for video signal input during 1 frame (16.7 ms). Conventional CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp) cannot follow fast on-off speed, so we evaluated new fluorescent substances of light source to improve residual light characteristic of CCFL. We realized articulate image generation similar to CRT by CCFL blinking drive and TN-LCD overdriving. As a result, reduced image sticking phenomenon was validated by naked eye and response time measurement.

동력형 욕창예방제품의 교대부양 압력 프로파 특성 (Alternating Pressure Profile Characteristics of Powered Pressure Ulcer Preventing Devices)

  • The APAM's quantitative effectiveness and comparative study in preventing and treating pressure ulcer has not been sufficiently evaluated mainly because of uncertainty of pressure load input and lack of interpretation of dynamic perfusion recovery characteristics of soft tissue. The purpose of this paper was to quantify and analyze the alternating pressure characteristics of APAM as a preventive measure for pressure ulcers. To quantify the alternating load to human body, we introduced alternating pressure profile concept and developed parametric model of the profile. Regarding pressure level and cycle time, 3 global and 7 local periodic parameters were used to define the profile such as light, standard, typical and heavy duty profile shape. Pressure impulse ratio of light duty is the lowest but pressure fluctuation is significantly high. For the same duty shape, contact conditions are changed with alternating cycle time and more dramatically in shorter alternating cycle time conditions. We can conclude that if we use shorter alternating cycle time on APAM's operation we can get more positive effects regarding to inflated contact time condition. We proposed the quantitative methods on tissue viability study of external loading by simultaneous measurement of interface pressure and tissue perfusion with proper alternating pressure profile conditions.

  • Optical property of tissue is characterized by its high scattering of light. In near infrared range$(800{\sim}1200nm)$ scattering is dominant than absorption. Communication using NIR through tissue is applicable to immplantable device. In this paper, simulation of unit impulse response of light in tissue is carried out to estimate the amplitude, phaselength and phaselength deviation.

  • Based on fuzzy 2-mean classification and template matching method, we propose a new algorithm to detect the edges of an image. In the algorithm, fuzzy 2-mean classification can classify all pixels in the mask into two clusters whatever the mask in the dark or light region; and template matching not only determines the edge's direction, but also thins the detected edge by a set of inference rules and, by the way, reduces the impulse noises.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel surveillance throwing robot which is compact, light-weight and has an efficient shock absorption mechanism. The throwing robot is designed in a spherical shape to be easily grabbed by a hand for throwing. Also, a motor-wheel linking mechanism is designed to be robustly protected from shocks upon landing. The proposed robot has a weight of 2.2kg and the diameter of its wheels is 150 mm. Through the field experiments, the designed robot is validated to withstand higher than 13Ns of impulse.

  • Polymer bushing used for overhead line switch was designed and investigated. Requirements of electrical ratings such as partial discharge, ac withstand voltage, impulse voltage and material properties were proposed in accordance with IEEE 386 and pre-standard (PS) 151-146∼147, 170∼180 of KEPCO. The polymer bushing consists of an internal epoxy bushing and external housing made of EPDM rubber. The rubber housing was molded with mold cone. Therefore, the polymer bushing offers several advantages like light weight, good sealing properties, easy installation and excellent performance in contamination. Electric field analysis was also introduced in order to verify the reliability of the design.
