통합여수시 지역주민의 삶의 질 변화와 도시발전의 과제 (The Direction of Urban Development and the Change of Quality of Life in Integrated Yosu City)

  • 본 연구는 통합여수시를 사례로 도시생활환경의 측정 및 삶의 질 변화에 대한 도시민의 인식.평가의 변화를 설문조사를 통해 살펴보았고, 이를 바탕으로 지역주민의 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 정책적 대안을 제시하였다. 통합여수시의 삶의 질은 5년 전에 비해서 전체적으로 삶의 질은 향상된 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 삶의 질에 관한 9개 지표 중에서 주거생활, 도시행정 및 편익서비스 등은 5년전보다 상대적으로 향상된 반면, 자연환경, 문화 및 여가생활, 교통환경 등은 나빠진 것으로 평가하였다. 그리고 여수시민들은 통합여수시의 지속적인 발전을 도모하기 위해서는 교통문제, 문화 및 여가시설의 확충 등이 주요한 과제라고 인식하였고, 21세기의 통합여수시가 해양관광도시, 교육문화도시로 발전하기를 선호하였다. 따라서 여수대도시권을 구축율 위한 주요 과제로는 경제기반시설의 확충, 워터프런트의 개발 및 보전, 관광산업의 활성화, 시민중심의 도시경관 조성, 지역문화운동의 전개 등이 필요한 것으로 밝혀졌다.

녹색성장을 위한 가정경영의 가치와 실천 (Value and Practice for Green Growth from the Perspective of Family Resource Management)

  • Since environmental problems were globalized, discussions on 'Sustainable Development' started from Rio Declaration on Environment and Development(Rio Agenda 21). In Korea, the idea of 'Green Growth' was introduced and generalized since the celebration speech made on 8.15(Independence Day of South Korea) on 2008. And Low Carbon- Green Growth Basic Law was established on 2010. There are 3 strategies and 10 sub-tasks to achieve green country-traffic and green revolution of life. Family resource management is capable of changing life style from energy wasty to ecologically green. The value of family resource management plays a critical role in changing the lifestyle through influencing the goal and standard setting. So, this study is aimed to suggest the green value and green way of life from the perspective of family resource management. Results are as follow. First, the green value is to change from 'material-oriented' to 'people-oriented'. The 'material-oriented value pursues pleasure from possessing, but the 'people-oriented' value pursues pleasure from being itself. Second, the change from the value of 'human-mastery of the nature' to the value of 'mother -nature' is necessary. The value of 'human-mastery of the nature' seeks pleasure from the velocity and tangible outcome. But the value of 'mother- nature' seeks pleasure from the time to relax and slow way of life. 'Third, the change from the value of 'individualism' to the value of 'community sprit' is necessary. Individualism focuses on man's achievement, which may fall into family egoism. And the green way of life suggests the change from 'results-oriented' to 'enjoy the process itself", from 'consumption' to 'ecological restoration' and from 'work to home and then home to community'.

효과적인 중등학교 가정과 교육을 위한 교재연구의 필요성 -피복영역의 지도를 중심으로- (The Necessity of Home Economics Education Teaching Materials in Secondary School)

  • The Change of environment related to human life, science, technology, economics and education level have much effect on home life. Therefore Home Economics Education have to get out of past trite concept that it is only a method to become good housewife and take the role to widen the human life and to grow creative power as a academic part of science. For these, Home Economics should become life education, life education of secondary school has to have relation to lifelong education. To achieve effective result from Home Economics Education, the object, system and methods of Home Economics Education, the object, system and methods of Home Economics Education have to be improved and teaching material has to be studied systematically. As an object of aboves and education planning in clothing is made for deep understanding the study of Home Economics Teaching Material. And to understand the real state, made some questions, had interview with 63-teaching in Kangweon province and show the results. 1) Tab 1~20 are the level of recognition about object, teaching content, time structure of secondary school. The object is recognized as cultural education and basic job education. 2) Tab 21~30 show the real state of textbook and study of it. To take effect from school lecture other teaching material except textbook is required. 3) Tab 31~40 are the result of sewing and handicraft practice. Sewing and handicraft needs much time and almost all time is used in practicing. 4) Tab 42~54 are the planning of textbook study for effective teaching, self-estimation and teaching material making is also considered. All above is collarless blouse’s planning. Base on above result, all objects of clothing life should be teached. For the development of Home Economics Education 1) Understanding and affection of teachers is required. 2) To solve indicated problem, national policy, education plan in school and education finance are fully supported. 3) More studies is required in Home Economics Education.

충북지역 일부 고등학생의 식사속도와 청소년 영양지수 점수와의 관련성 (Association between Eating Speed and Scores of Nutritional Quotient for Korean Adolescent (NQ-A) among High School Students in Chungbuk)

  • This study aimed to investigate the relationship between eating speed and nutritional status among Korean high-school students using Nutrition Quotient for Korean Adolescents (NQ-A). In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted in 453 high-school students (227 boys and 226 girls) from September 2019 to October 2019 in Chungbuk area. Based on the self-reported speed of eating data, subjects were classified into a fast group (n=180), a medium group (n=184), and a slow group (n=89). NQ-A scores for each group were measured in each speed group. In the environment section, girls showed a significant difference in usage time of electronic devices, such as TVs and smartphones: the fast group spent significantly more time than the medium group (p=0.035). In the practice section, among boys, the slow group had significantly higher scores for washing hands before eating than the medium and the fast groups (p=0.022). This study suggested that eating speed of high school students is associated with health-related environment factor and practice factor of NQ-A, such as time spent on smart devices or washing hands before eating. The study results can provide baseline data for nutrition education on health management of high school students.

일개 대학병원 간호사들의 근무형태에 따른 건강행태 (Health Behaviors of Nurses at a University Hospital according to Type of Work)

  • 이 연구는 대학병원 간호사들을 대상으로 하여 이들의 근무형태에 따른 건강행태를 파악하고 간호사들의 건강유지 및 증진을 위한 체계적이고 효과적인 건강교육의 방향 설정을 위한 기초 자료를 얻고자 실시하였다. 연구대상은 대구지역 일개 대학병원에 근무하는 간호사 340명이었고, 자료의 수집은 2006년 3월 6일부터 3월 30일까지 대상자의 일반적 특성, 업무환경특성, 건강행태, 자신의 건강에 대한 인식, 건강증진행위 실천 점수 등에 대하여 자기기입식 설문조사를 통하여 수행되었다. 교대근무 간호사(이하 "교대")와 비교대근무 간호사(이하 "비교대")의 건강행태의 항목에서 규칙적인 식사여부(p<0.01), 음주여부(p<0.05), 건강관리(p<0.05), 규칙적인 운동(p<0.01), 근무시간 외 시간 활용(p<0.05), 충분한 휴식시간(p<0.05), 피로인식여부(p<0.01)에서 통계학적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 대상자의 근무형태에 따른 건강증진행위 실천 점수는 교대가 115.4점, 비교대가 121.9점으로 비교대가 건강행위를 더 잘 실천하는 것으로 나타났고, 하부영역별로 실천 점수가 유의한 차이가 있는 것은 자아실현과 영양영역(p<0.01)이었으며, 자아실현영역에서 가장 점수가 높았고, 운동영역에서 점수가 가장 낮았다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 비교대보다 교대가 교대근무로 인해 상대적으로 시간적인 여유가 부족하고 불규칙적인 생활로 인해 시간활용을 잘 하지 못하는 것으로 생각되며, 교대의 건강행위 실천율을 높일 수 있도록 여건을 개선하고 건강행위에 대한 관심을 유도하는 방법을 모색해야 할 것이다. 또한 간호사들의 생활습관의 개선과 자신에 대한 긍정적인 평가가 이루어지도록 하고, 이에 대한 교육과 홍보가 필요하다고 생각된다.

The Implementation of Sustainable Manufacturing Practice in Textile Industry: An Indonesian Perspective

  • The intention of this paper is to give a better understanding about the implementation of sustainable manufacturing practice in the textile companies in Indonesia as one of the promising sectors in the manufacturing industry. The data was collected by taking a case study approach in one of the leading textile companies in Indonesia. Questionnaire and interview techniques were used to gather in-depth information about the implementation of a sustainable concept in the company. The result reveals that the extent of the implementation of Sustainable Manufacturing Practices (SMP) in the companies are at a level of moderate to high. From the three dimensions measured which are environment, economy, and social dimensions, the evaluation result shows good performance in terms of the implementation of sustainable concepts, like low level of gas emission, high percentage of renewable energy usage, cost reduction rate, high quality of life, etc. From this result, the authors then develop a sustainable manufacturing model in the wider coverage to be implemented not only in the textile industry but is expected to be implemented in manufacturing sectors as well. This model consists of at least seven basic archetypes which are divided into three dominant areas: technological innovation, economical, and social areas which aim to bring better performance in the manufacturing industry of Indonesia.

코로나19 원격 교육에서 외로움과 유튜브 과다사용이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향에 대한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on Effects of Loneliness and YouTube Addiction on College Life Adjustment in the Distance Education During COVID-19)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 코로나19 원격 교육 환경에서 대학생들의 외로움과 유튜브 과다사용이 대학생활적응과 어떠한 관계가 있는가를 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 외로움과 유튜브 과다사용이 사회 적응 및 학업 적응에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 연구모형을 개발하였다. 본 논문은 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 95개의 설문조사 데이터를 최종 분석에 적용하였다. 설문 데이터는 구조 방정식 모형을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 외로움이 많을수록 대학 사회 적응과 학업 적응이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유튜브 과다사용이 많을수록 대학 사회 적응이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 외로움과 유튜브 과다사용은 대학생활적응을 예측하는 유의한 변인인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 대학생들이 외로움 관리와 유튜브를 사용을 적절하게 할 수 있도록 돕는 환경 조성과 제도적 지원의 필요성을 시사하고 있다.

Evaluation and Prediction of Corrosion Resistance of Epoxy Systems and Epoxy/Polyurethane Systems in Seawater Environment

  • Current coating practice requires the thickness of anti-corrosion organic coatings to be over $250{\mu}m$ for immersion parts of ships and offshore structures and the corrosion resistance of these coatings has been evaluated by destructive and qualitative analysis. Recently, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy(EIS) method has been employed, as an alternative, to evaluate corrosion resistance of organic coatings. This method is characterized as being nondestructive, reproducible, and quantitative in evaluating aging of organic coatings. In this study, EIS method was adopted to quantitatively and effectively select the coating systems having optimized protective performance. Evaluations of several epoxy and epoxy/polyurethane coating systems typically used for ships and offshore structures were carried out in wet($50^{\circ}C$, $90^{\circ}C$) and dry(room temp.) environments to accelerate the degradation of the organic coatings. These results were compared with the conventional scribed(scratched) test results. The plausible prediction model for determining the remaining life-time of coating systems was also proposed based on variations of impedance data, FT-IR and $T_g$ measurements results.

Effects of Different Restoration Practices on Nutrient Loss from Sediments after a Forest Fire in Two Watersheds

  • The loss of nitrogen and phosphorus from sediments in two watersheds, one naturally regenerating and one artificially planted, in Sacheon-myun, Gangneung-si, Gangwon Province, were measured two years after a forest fire in 2000. Sediment losses occurred five times in the course of the year. In the artificially planted watershed, $50{\sim}140$ times more nitrogen and $54{\sim}139$ times more phosphorus were lost with sediments during heavy rains, from July to August, than in the naturally regenerating watershed. When the typhoon Rusa struck the country, 1,389 times more nitrogen and 1,647 times more phosphorus were lost from the artificial watershed. In spite of the limited scope of this study, these results suggest that artificially planted watersheds are extremely vulnerable to catastrophic natural disasters such as typhoons. Elevated loss of nutrients in the artificially planted watershed might have resulted from the mechanized silvicultural practices employed immediately after the fire. To maximize soil preservation, the timing and necessity of plantation practices should be reconsidered, and rapidly regenerating vegetation should be protected to promote nutrient uptake and to mitigate nutrient loss from burned forests.

  • As P-new-city is planned and constructed, district eating utilizing an existing near-by power plant's waste heat is considered as an economic and environment friendly way of providing heating to the new city. Many pipeline diameters and pumping station location and capacity were assumed, investigated and optimized, to satisfy the customers' heat demand considering common district heating pipe-network design and construction practice, and also and construction, pumping station land price and construction and the pumping energy cost during lifetime of DH systems.
