The purpose of this work was to study library website users' actions by tracking their behavior, determining popular content, and identifying browsing patterns and subsequent improvement of access to popular content. The study of behavior models and the use of web analytics has led to the emergence of solutions that improve the usability and functionality of the State Public Scientific-Technological Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPSTL SB RAS) website. These are: identifying user tasks as they are developed, conducting user testing to better understand the event. tracking data and collecting additional data to verify the effectiveness of the changes made. Examining data on the duration of the session and the number of visits will help determine the goals of user visits and develop new recommendations. Usability analysis and testing will make it possible to compare the data obtained using web analytics and the perception of the library site by the users themselves. Recommendations are offered to libraries on the use of data on the real behavior of the target audience of the library website to improve access to library resources and services, increase their relevance and improve information services.

The purpose of this study is to propose new menu structure and terms to be used by Website design for utilization of academic library Website. The menu structure was analyzed, based on seven menu patterns of Website which is widely used, and terms were analyzed by the frequency appearing at the Website. According to the analyzed result, the menu structure used to more than two menu patterns and the terms appear variety. The profitable menu pattern appears 〈table〉 and 〈frame + table〉 menu structures and the terms needs to systematic re-classification and controlled presentation. It is expected that this study can help a designer to the development and implementation of efficient Website. It helps not only to solve the problem of menu structure and term selection for librarian, but get rid of confusion of library services for users.

Digital Library websites plays an important role in dissemination of information of the institution and library resources. It acts as a trustworthy mirror of the institute. To evaluate the library website performance webometrics tools and indicators are required. The aim of the present research is study the webometrics of Digital Libraries of Iranian Universities of Medical Sciences on the Web to determine the amount of the visibility a website and web pages. The URL and link of 42 digital library website is obtained directly by visiting the university's website. To extract the number of indexed web pages (size), rich files have used the Google search engine Also, to extract the number of scientific resources retrieved have used the Google Scholar search engine. To calculate and obtain the number of links received have used the MOZ search engine. Generally, the results indicated that the website of Iranian digital libraries did not have a good performance in term of webometric indexes, and none of them were not rated at all indexes, only some of the websites mentioned in one or two indicators.

Internet Website has become part of daily life. The public library tends to use the website for the information service and the public relations as well. This study aims to evaluate the Web Accessibility for improving universal services in five public libraries website, Seoul Area. Accessibility testing are used two method, that is A-Prompt analysis and HTML Validation Evaluation. The results of evaluation showed that they have been in error. Finally this study well be used for web accessibility in library website.

This study aims to evaluate the usability for improving quality of Hoseo university digital library website. Compatibility of web browser and loading speed are analyzed in using Doctor HTML and Web Site Garage, and seven major attributes of website. that is navigation, functionality, user control language and contents. system and user feedback, consistency, architectural and visual clarify, are analyzed and evaluated in using online questionnaire method. Finally this paper was suggested some problems and improvements of that website mentioned above, and general guidelines of website construction based on usability in university digital library in korea.

The information service of library is getting into a new paradigm as the smart phone usage increases. This study analyzes the contents reflected on the library mobile website to figure out the structural condition and features of the information. For this study, 26 academic libraries in U.S. are selected for an examination of their mobile websites, and the contents on the sites were analyzed. This study analyzed the most frequent type of contents provided in the mobile website. As a result, this study suggested the information structure and core contents of the mobile website in detail. The outcome of this study is expected to be a reference for building the mobile website of library.

This study aims to evaluate the usability of XML-based Chungnam National University Digital Library Website. Usability testing are used three method, that is Log File Analysis, Online Questionnaire and Heuristic Evaluation. Log files are analyzed in using WiseLog Enterprise and Hit Analyzer for Enterprise jx 1.5 Beta Version and total 21 items are analyzed and evaluated in using online questionnaire method and heuristic evaluation is inquired by experts of web and information retrieval fields. Finally this paper was suggested some problems and improvements to advance quality of user services in university digital library website in korea.

This study is to develope the usability evaluation criteria for improving quality of user services in digital library website. It compared and analyzed major eight studies concerning usability evaluation of library website in foreign and domestic. The purpose of this study is to develop a model for a medical information website for public library use. Applying the six processes of website development - planning, analysis, design implementation, promotion, and innovation as a research methodology, seven medical information websites are analyzed. The evaluating criteria includes interface layout, contents, function aspects. Based on the results, a medical information website is implemented. This study examines the status of websites operation among libraries affiliated to the Korean Medical Library Association, compares and analyzes website menu organization and information service contents of 29 medical libraries that currently run websites. The followings are results of this study. 1) the main menu of medical library websites is arranged with 'Search for Library Materials, Electronic Resources, Library Service, My Library, Library Guide, and the Bulletin Board.' 2) 15 services were selected as the main information service provided from the medical library website. 3) the information service that was provided from the most institutions was 'Document Copy/ Interlibrary Loan,' followed by 'Loan Reservation/Renewal, Request Library Purchase Book, Off-campus Access, User Education, Reference Resources, Q&A Board, Our Library Pubmed, and Dissertation Submission' in this order.
