  • This paper presents the parameter measurement methods for high performance drive of induction motors. The proposed methods are selected by considering the factors that affect accuracy of measurement. Each method are refined to be adequate for measurement of each motor parameters. Proposed methods are easy to implement and only require inverter-motor system, which are important for practical application.

  • This paper discusses several electrical properties of tape-type insulation impregnated with liquid nitrogen ($LN_2$) in superconducting cable. Synthetic polypropylene laminated paper has been tested for its short-term breakdown strength and partial discharge(PD) characteristics under AC voltage. furthermore, the effect of winding parameter on breakdown strength, PD incepti on and extinction electrical stress with different test samples are discussed.

  • In this paper, we propose the design methodologies for the range tracker which is designed for minimizing the range tracking error. The range discriminator has been implemented digitally. Finally, experimental results of the Digital Range Tracker are provided.
