  • 증기 Turbine plant의 제어방식은 점점 더 복잡하게 고도화하고 있으며 원심 또는 유압조속기등 Lever와 유압기구의 조합으로 구성된 기계유압식 Governor 대신에 전자유압식 Governor(Electro-Hydraulic Governor, EHG 일반적으로 광의의 의미로는 전자유압식제어장치 Electro-Hydraulic Control System이라함)의 개발에 주력하고 있으며 본보고서는 이에 대한 시험결과를 기술한 것이다. • It is very important to determine the performance and operating envelope of engine for aircraft's flight. The basic performance is provided by manufacturer, but installed engine's operating envelop is only determined by flight test. First, this study was measured cylinder head temperature(CHT), exhaust gas temperature(EGT) and oil temperature. At pre-determined altitude and power rate, these temperatures were measured by change of mixture ratio and mixture ratio condition for economic operation and max. power were found. And secondly, with the measured temperatures, possible positions of mixture lever were determined by flight test for stable flight Chang-91 and Lycoming IO-360-A series four cylinders engine with 200 hp was used for this study.

  • This paper explains the walking robot with 4 legs. One leg is composed of 4 dc server motors and have 4 d.o.f. This walking robot has simple structure using the principle of lever. The structure of robot models the 4 legs animal such as dog. The walking patterns is various and complex. With Inspecting the walking dogs, the walking motions implemented by patterns. The center of mass is important of this type robot. The significant issue of walking is weight. As the weight is lighter, so the robot well walks. The method of walking is patterns.

  • The purposes of the study were twofold: to investigate the stereotype of position and direction that the users expect when operating the handles of a water faucet in different directions, and to collect information about user’s preferred directions. Six hundred subjects, aged from teens to over sixties, participated in the experiment with the procedure of showing them actual water faucets of a lever-type handle and two round-shaped handles mounted on the sink(horizontal plane) and wall(vertical plane). The water faucets presented to the subjects were most widely used devices in our living environment. The results showed that when the handle of the lever-type water faucet was in the 'up' position, 63% of the subjects expected the device was 'open'. When the cold hot separated water faucets were mounted on the horizontal or vertical plane, over 50% of those who answered the 'open' direction of round type handles responded as 'counter clockwise' for a 'hot' water faucet and 'clockwise' for a 'cold' water faucet. In conclusion, this study suggests that water faucet devices be designed and installed in the way that the users expect them to operate.

  • In this study, the loader was completed that has 4-wheel gear driven drivetrain of study (Ⅰ), the 4-wheel steering with power wheel type, all-wheel traction system, and joy-stick type lever for hydraulic control valve. From driving test of the developed 4WD and 4WS type loader, we obtained that the minimum circling radius and the necessary width in circling motion reduced about 40% and 33% compared with 2WS type loader. Also, all-wheel traction system could keep the tires glued to the ground with greater stability, the power steering allowed a smoother operation, and the joy-stick type lever offered easily to control. Thus, the developed loader having these functions was very fit in a small cattle shed or rugged ground.

  • ATM(automated-teller machine) is a machine that receives and pays money directly. The double bill detector(DBD) module of an ATM detects double bills from its thickness. In this paper, the dynamic behavior of the DBD was analyzed, which cannot be simulated correctly by a package program of SAMCEF. And the displacements of the lever was measured for various bills experimentally. The measured dynamic behaviors were analyzed kinematically using a vector equation and simulated dynamically by the derivation of equation of motion with consideration of damping and stiffness of the DBD and bills. The analysis showed that the spring constant of the system is not so influential, instead, the contact angle between the lever and bill needs to be larger than the existing DBD in order to be laster and reliable DBD.

  • In the recent studies, various types of multi mode electric variable transmission for hybrid electric vehicle have been proposed. Multi mode electric variable transmission consists of two or more different type planetary gear hybrid powertrain system(PGHP), which can change its power flow type by means of clutches for improving transmission efficiencies. Generally the power flows can be classified into three different types such as Input split, output split nd compound split. In This paper, we present velocity and torque equations of the input-split powertrain and analyze its optimal Performances. There are six combinations of the input-split powertrain, each combination has various lever length. We find optimal planetary gear ratios for fuel economy and acceleration performance, and compare performances of each combination.

  • Elasto-dynamic deformation of flexible linkage mechanism was analyzed using the finite element method. A computer program was constructed and applied to analyze a specific crank-level 4-bar mechanism, in which the elasto-dynamic deformation of the mechanism system was obtained using mode superposition method in the case of constant input speed and the effect of geometric stiffness on the mechanism is included. Experimental verification of numerical results was conducted by measuring the elasto-dynamic deformation of mid-points of coupler and lever for the 4-bar lingkage mechanism using high speed camera and image data processing systeem. For the elasto-dynamic deformation at the lever mid-point, the numerical results including geometric stiffness almost agree with the experimental ones. However, the numerical results excluding geometric stiffness good agree with the experimental ones at the couper mid-point.

  • This paper presents a sensing system to measure the deflection of a microcantilever in an atomic force microscope. In general, the optical lever method and interferometry are used for the sensing system; however, their size and cost leaves considerable room for improvement. Therefore, we used an optical pickup head whose operating principle is based on the astigmatism of the commercial optical disk drives. The developed sensing system was applied to a laboratory atomic force microscope, and satisfactory results were obtained.

  • A transmission control cable connects the transmission control arm and the control lever mechanically and transfers control effort exerted by a driver to the transmission. It also transfers vibration generated by the engine to the passenger room through mechanical connection. To understand vibration and noise transfer mechanism and to further find a way to suppress the transmission of vibration effectively, a dependable dynamic vibration model is a necessity. A vibration model for a transmission control cable is developed and a simulation study has been conducted to obtain mode frequencies and a transmittability. The resonance frequencies obtained by an harmonic analysis is compared with the noise level measurement data. The measurement agrees with the simulation result thus ensures the reliability of the model.
