This study was carried out to investigate the correlation of urinary NMF concentration in workers exposed to DMF and concentration of DMF in the workplace. Samples were collected in workers exposed to high dose solvent in the synthetic leather factory by using silicagel tubes for 5-15 minutes, and were analyzed by GC. Geometric mean concentrations of DMF in the workplaces were 4.67 ppm in normal operation and 63.95 ppm in high exposure operation. The concentration of case uppers and machine cleaning process were more than 100 ppm in short time. The correlation of urinary NMF in workers and DMF in workplace was statistically significant in normal operation and high exposure operation. Correlation coefficient are 0.215(p<0.05) and 0.263(p<0.05). The result implied that STEL of DMF should be established in normal operation processes as well as high exposure operation processes.

This study was conducted to evaluate the roles that the exterior features of belts play in modem women's fashion. Providing a new prospective on belt expression could be useful for developing and producing belts with newer and more unique fashion designs. This study included related studies, fashion magazines and collections produced both in Korea and abroad since 2000. The results of the study were as follows: 1. A belt can be used to stress femininity. For example wearing a broad belt rather than a thin belt emphasizes the waist, breasts or hips depending on the position of the belt, whereas simply Wearing a belt loosely on a tight or see-through dress can also emphasize femininity. 2. A belt can be used as a design element of a dress. The basic elements of a belt, such as leather used in combination with various colors, various manufacturing methods, and ornate buckle ornaments can produce elaborate decorative effects. However, when a belt is made from materials other than leather, the belt can have an ornamental quality on an achromatic dress. Finally, designing belts to be worn in non-conventional manners, such as girding or tying them, or wearing several belts on the arms, legs, shoulders and waist can result in new and expressive styles.

In this study, we have synthesized waterborne polyurethane dispersion(WPU) and analyzed mechanical properties of WPU film and leather coatings in different content of monoammonium phosphate. According to the measured data by DSC, sample WPU-AM3 which included high content of monoammonium phosphate showed the highest Tm at $382^{\circ}C$. All samples had good solvent resistance. In tensile tests, WPU-AM3($2.130kg_f/mm^2$) had the lowest physical properties. Also abrasion resistance properteis and elongation properties were investigated, WPU-AM3 had lowest physical properties with 52.07 mg.loss for abraison and 615 % of elongation.

In this paper, the mechanical property change was investigated by adding 1,4-butanediol as chain extender of polyurethane dispersion for leather coating. Reagents for the synthesis were polypropylene glycol(PPG), isoporon diisocyanate(IPDI), dimethylolpropionic acid(DMPA) and 1,4-BD. All samples showed good solvent resistance and flexibility by different content of the 1,4-BD. As results, samples which contains a lot of 1,4-BD showed good properties whth strength of $1.80kg_f/mm^2$ and abrasion test measurement of 49.54 mg.loss. According to elongation test, the sample which contains low amount of 1,4-BD was good property as 364 %.

Shoe with leather upper such as safety and golf shoe requires a roughing process where the upper is roughed fur helping outsole to be cemented well. It is an important and basic process for production of leather shoe but is not automated yet. Thus, there are problems that the defect rate is high and the quality of roughed surface is not uniform. In order to solve such problems, the interest in automation of roughing process is being increased and this paper introduces CAM system for 5-axis automatic roughing machine as one part of automation of roughing process. The CAM system developed interpolates a B-spline curve using points measured from the Roughing Path Measurement System. The B-spline curve is used to generate the tool path and orientation data fer a roughing tool which has not only stiffness but also flexibility to rough the inclined surface efficiently. For productivity, the upper of shoe is machined by side of the roughing tool and tool offset is applied to the roughing tool for machining of inclined surface. The generated NC code was applied to 5-axis polishing machine for the test. The upper of shoe was roughed well along the roughing path data from CAM and the roughed surface was proper fur cementing of the outsole.

The purpose of this study is to understand what the Glam Style is, focus on the movie "Velvet Goldmine". The Glam Style is refered early 1970s Glam rockers' costume, typified by silver lurex, corksoled platform, men in make-up, personified, for example, by David Bowie, Marc Bolan, New York Dolls, Roxy Music and Iggy Pop. To approach the Glam Style comprehensively, I have divided the formative background of Glam Style into the improvement technology, the advent of the young generation and the diffusion of mass media, the rock music fever and influence on Pop art. Following is the result of analyzing of the character in the movie. First, Brian Slade has the flamboyant transsexual image by skin-tight space suit, glitter pants, lurex, satin and sequined stretch fabrics, vivid color, gauze make-up, feather boa. Second, Curt Wild expresses the outrageous sexual image by black leather jacket, emphasized black eyes make-up. Third, Mandy Slade appears the exaggerated and frivolous image by gold leopard patterned one piece, fur coat, ornamented with beads, tropical make-up, spangles and the costume jewelry. Forth, Auther Stuart has the complex image by black leather jacket, velvet jacket, skin-tight bold shirt, glitter pants, glitter make-up, silk scarf, cherry-red sunglasses. The characteristics meaning of Glam Style implied in this formative characteristic could be presented as the experimental expression of androgynous, the hordes of outrageous alien and kitsch parody.

The purpose of this paper is to understand the ethnic characteristics of official uniforms of Qing(淸)) by comparing the rank systems of official uniforms of Ming(명(明)) and Qing(淸)) dynasties. As research documents, Dai-Ming-Huidian(大明會典)) and Qing-Huidian-Tu(淸明會圖)) have been used. This research shows that there are many traditional characteristics of Manchurians (滿族)) in the official uniforms of Qing(淸)) dynasty. The characteristics are as follows: First, Qing dynasty made their own official uniform based on the traditional Manchurians(滿族)) costume, and added rank system on it. Second, Qing dynasty used the animal's leather as the material of official uniforms and distinguished the level of the uniforms according to the rerity value of rareness, color, and warmth of the leather. Third, Qing dynasty used pearls produced in Manchuria as the highest level, as opposed to jades and rhinoceros horns of Ming. Fourth, Qing dynasty eliminated the animal's rank system of twelve patterns which had been used for whole history of China, but the Emperor is the only man who is able to use twelve patterns. Qing dynasty made her own pattern system of standstill/moving dragons and standstill/moving pythons. Fifth, Qing dynasty used the rank system by colors in the order of yellow, red, and blue consistently over various official uniforms, while Ming used different color orders for different uniforms.

This study looked into the trend of expression of animal motifs that appears in modern fashion, and the values embedded in them. As to the research method, empirical analysis was performed on the works presented at the four global collections of Paris, Milan, New York and London from 2001S/S to 2010F/W, as well as a literature review. As a result, animal motifs applied in modern fashion appeared in material groups, such as leather or feather. The first group shows a realistic material feel, with artificial leather or fur, expressed in a transformed complex animal motif, with process skill or various methods of expression. The second group is the case of a single motif or reality, mode, and ion pattern. Printing is a generic expression, but patchwork, collage or bead ornament are also used, and expressed in the various forms of pattern: pattern in a single animal, pattern in different animals, and pattern combining both animal and other shape. The third group is a small decorative ornament, including headset or accessory and makeup, which is transformed in an animal-characterized motif into part of clothing components for expression, or to set the real animal to the stage for a performance. The embedded values were also categorized as natural beauty, sensual female beauty, pleasure, and ornamentation, which could be an endless spiritual source, and a breakthrough that enables us to show a creative and new aesthetic for the modern fashion field.

We synthesized thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer containing carboxylic acid group and TPV (thermoplastic vulcanizate). We measured the mechanical, grip, debris, contact angle and adhesion properties according to introducing acid group in elastomer structure. Mechanical and wet slip properties were improved because of the hydrogen bonding by introduction of acid group. Also adhesion strength was increased as increasing of surface polarity by carboxylic acid group. The debris property of TPV made from TPU containing carboxylic acid group was improved.

The Yo-Dae(belt) was made of cloths and leather orginally. Then, it was decorated with metal decoration to become more developed luxury one. The Kwa-Dae of the Three Kingdom period is called as final shape among those ancient mode. Dae-Gu(The origin of belt buckle) was the metallic decoration of the leather belt that the northern nomadic tribe used to wear it. It was considered that the Dae-Gu was more decorated and changed to Kwa-Dae with Yo-Pae. The first stage Dae-Gu didn't have the hook, but a short hook only could move the belt itself was created, and then a movable short hook(China-Jin period Kwa-Dae, etc) to be inside of belt was showed, after that an axis was necessary when it became to long one, It was completed as a belt buckle. The stick shape hook was main stream in China an dthe other northern countries. Meanwhile, Korea has mostly "T" shape hook, and it shows that we developed our own unique style. Classifying the type of the belt plague, there are five types due to the scarved shapes on the Kwa-Dae and the changes. Mainly based on the excavated tomb articles of the three kingdoms and referred to Chinese and Japanese ones. It showed that the belt plague was lightly influenced by the times and area, but was slowly changed and developed to different types through those each ages generally.
