  • In this paper, the scheme of fuzzy system construction using GA(genetic algorithm) and FCM(Fuzzy c-means) clustering algorithm is proposed for TSK(Takagi-Sugeno-Kang) type fuzzy system. in the structure identification, input data is trans-formed by PCA(Principal Component Analysis) to reduce the correlation among input data components. And then, the number of fuzzy rule is obtained by a given performance criterion. In the parameter identification, the premise parameters are optimally searched by GA.   • Torque ripple control of brushless DC motor has long been the main issue of the servo drive systems in which the speed fluctuation, vibration and acoustic noise need to be minimized. The vast majority of the methods for suppressing the torque ripple require the Fourier series analysis and either the iterative or least mean square minimization. In this paper, a novel approach based on the d-q-0 reference frame that achieves ripple-free torque control with maximum efficiency is presented. The proposed method optimizes the reference phase current waveforms including even the case of 3-phase unbalanced condition, and the motor winding currents are controlled to track the optimized current waveforms by the delta modulation technique. As a results, the proposed approach provides a simple and yet effectine means for obtaining the optimal motor excitation currents. The validity and applicability of the proposed control scheme are verified through simulations and experimental investigations.

  • In this study, we proposed the fuzzy modeling method and designed a model-based logic controller for Activated and Sludge Process(A.S.P.) in sewage treatment. The identification of the structure of fuzzy implications is carreid out by use of fuzzy c-means clustering algorithm. And to identify the parameters of fuzzy implications, we used the complex and the least square method. To tune the premise parameters automatically the complex method is implemented. The model-based fuzzy controller is designed by rules generated from the identified A.S.P. fuzzy model. The feasibility of the proposed approach is evaluated through the identification of the fuzzy model to describe an input-output relation of the A.S.P.. The performance of identified model-based fuzzy controller is evaluated through the computer simulations.

  • This paper presents a robust adaptive control method using model reference control strategy against autonomous robot systems with random friction nature. We approximate a nonlinear robot system model by means of a feedback linearization approach to derive nominal control law. We construct a Least Square (LS) based observer to estimate friction dynamics online and then represent a perturbed system model with respect to approximation error between an actual friction and its estimation. Model reference based control design is achieved to implement an auxiliary control in order for reducing control error in practice due to system perturbation. Additionally, we conduct theoretical study to demonstrate stability of the perturbed system model through Lyapunov theory. Numerical simulation is carried out for evaluating the proposed control methodology and demonstrating its superiority by comparing it to a traditional nominal control method.

  • 본 연구에서는 증분형 FCM(Incremental Fuzzy C-Means: Incremental FCM) 클러스터링 알고리즘을 기반으로 방사형 기저함수 신경회로망(Radial Basis Function Neural Networks: RBFNN) 패턴 분류기를 설계한다. 방사형 기저함수 신경회로망은 조건부에서 가우시안 함수 또는 FCM을 사용하여 적합도를 구하였지만, 제안된 분류기에서는 빅 데이터간의 적합도를 구하기 위해 증분형 FCM을 사용한다. 또한, 빅 데이터를 학습하기 위해 결론부에서 재귀최소자승법(Recursive Least Square Estimation: RLSE)을 사용하여 다항식 계수를 추정한다. 마지막으로 추론부에서는 증분형 FCM에서 구한 적합도와 재귀최소자승법으로 구한 다항식을 이용하여 최종 출력을 구한다.

  • In this paper. we present a neuro-fuzzy controller which unifies both fuzzy logic and multi-layered feed forward neural networks. Fuzzy logic provides a means for converting linguistic control knowledge into control actions. On the other hand. feed forward neural networks provide salient features. such as learning and parallelism. In the proposed neuro-fuzzy controller. the parameters of membership functions in the antecedent part of fuzzy inference rules are identified by using the error back propagation algorithm as a learning rule. while the coefficients of the linear combination of input variables in the consequent part are determined by using the least square estimation method. Finally. the effectiveness of the proposed controller is verified through computer simulation for an inverted pole system.

  • Independent suspension axle and final reduction gear for special-purpose vehicles such as a armored vehicles are almost imported in Germany etc. so, developing them is necessary to save cost. In severe condition (open fields, water surface driving, obstacle pass), special-purpose vehicles must work well. Drop box, axle and final reduction gear performed static analysis. We know that is possible weight reduction. The purpose of this paper is to find out the optimal shape of final reduction gear's case by means of response surface methodology. The response surface method is the statistical method which can be applied to the non-sensitivity based optimization. The response surface which is constructed by the least square method contains only the polynomial terms so that the global maximum and minimum points are easily obtained.

  • Under two level block loading, the carbornitrizing specimen can be expected to show different behavior from other uniform material because the properties of surface layer and inner material are different from each other. In this research, the modified Marco-Starkey cumulative theory, which considers load interaction effect, can predict the life of SCM415 carbornitrizing and original notched and smooth specimen, In the low-high test of carbornitrizing specimen which has long life, however, we may additionally consider the increase of life by means of the stress hardening of inner original material.

  • This paper presents active noise control method to form the near-field quiet zone for passengers in an automobile. The actuator model including interior acoustic plant, speaker and amplifier is experimentally identified in forms of auto-regressive and moving average by means of least mean square algorithm, The digital controller is composed of the regulator and Kalman filter to be designed based on LQG (linear quadratic gaussian). If the actuator model is prefiltered with digital filter to be properly designed for concentrating control performance index on the frequency band of primary noise source, LQG design approach can be effectively applied for the design of headset controller. Experimental results demonstrate that near-field quiet zone showing about 10dB noise reduction at microphone position can be formed using the headset located at passenger seat.

  • The total station which is able to measure angles and distances simultaneously, and G.P.S., 3-dimensional satellite surveying system will be employed as important equipments for establishing and re-adjusting large geodetic networks. The objective of this study is to suggest possibilities of application of combination adjustment by means of studying characteristics of networks adjusted according to detection gross errors included in angles and distances by least square method. It is expected that the results of this study were used for determination of national geodetic networks but also large or small construction site.
