The main purpose of this study is to answer a question that how a company can be a learning organization producing useful knowledge by applying neuro-cybernetics approach. This approach borrows its working principles from the human body systems. The current study urges that the principles can be applied to build a learning organization. System 1 to 5, the core parts of neuro-cybernetics, are explained. And it is explored that how these systems can be designed for a company to be a learning organization. Limitations of the current study are discussed at the end of the paper.

This research aims to use machine learning technology in human resource management to predict employees' work-life balance. The study utilized a dataset from IBM Watson Analytics in the IBM Community for the machine learning analysis. Multinomial dependent variables concerning workers' work-life balance were examined, categorized into continuous and categorical types using the Generalized Linear Model. The complexity of assessing variable roles and their varied impact based on the type of model used was highlighted. The study's outcomes are academically and practically relevant, showcasing how machine learning can offer further understanding of psychological variables like work-life balance through analyzing employee profiles.

In this study, a nursing management application for fourth-year students majoring in nursing at university was developed and practically applied in lectures. The application consists of an introduction, learning contents, and quiz contents. Nursing students downloaded and used it on their smartphones, such as iPhones and Android phones. The learning contents of a nursing management application include theoretical contents related to courses on nursing management and quiz contents comprising basic, advanced, and mixed quizzes based on the learning contents. Nursing students had access to this application on their smartphones and studied the contents provided regardless of time and space. Moreover, they were allowed to check their scores as soon as they selected and answered the questions included in the quiz contents. Nursing students used a nursing management application during and after lectures. We confirmed their learning process and learning results anytime and provided relevant feedback.

On-line learning has been adopted as a major educational method due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students and faculties got accustomed to on-line educational environment as they experienced it during the COVID-19 pandemic. Development of various technologies and social requirement for educational renovation lay groundwork for on-line learning as well. Therefore, on-line learning or blended learning will be likely to go on after the end of COVID-19 pandemic and it is necessary to prepare the guidelines for effective utilizing on-line learning. The primary purpose of this study is to examine the learning behaviors and the learning effects by using LMS data. Learning behaviors were measured in terms of learning time and access frequency for pre-recorded video lectures targeting computer-practice classes. The results of empirical analysis reveal that frequency was the significant predictor of course achievements but learning time was not. The findings of empirical analysis will provide insights that the effective planning and designing on-line classes based on learning behaviors are key to enhancing learning effects and learner's satisfaction.

This study aims to investigate factors affecting eBook acceptance and learning outcomes among students experiencing online distance learning. As conventional textbooks are now switched into eBooks, the effects of contextual factors including lecturer, student computer competency, content and design of the course, access ability, infrastructure, and university support on eBook acceptance and learning outcome needs to be evaluated. The sample of this study is represented by students at the Universiti Teknologi MARA, City Campus Melaka, undertaking 'strategic management course'. Non-probability random sampling was selected as the sampling technique and a purposive sampling method was chosen to select the samples. The samples comprised 171 students randomly selected through Google Form. The questionnaire data was analyzed by using PLS-SEM. The results indicated that these factors contributed 62.3% variations in the eBook acceptance and 67.1% variations in the learning outcomes. The strongest factor affecting both dependent variables was content and design of course. Managerial implication suggested that the content for all courses taught through the eBook platform needs to be revisited and improved in accordance with the mode of online deliverance. Tutorial on how to navigate the eBook platform is important to all users as this would enhance acceptance and produce better learning outcomes among students.

Knowledge management has garnered attention due to its role of maintaining competitive advantage. Creating and sharing knowledge is an essential part of managing knowledge. However, the best knowledge is underutilized because employees tend to seek knowledge through their informal networks, not reach out to other sources for obtaining the best knowledge. Prior studies on informal networks pointed out a negative influence of heavy reliance on learning through informal networks but they paid little attention to a structure of informal networks and its impacts on diffusion of knowledge. The aim of our study is to show impacts of informal network on knowledge management by employing a network structure and investigating diffusion of knowledge within it. Our study found out that performance of learning becomes lower in a highly clustered network. Creating random links such as serendipitous learning can improve performance of knowledge management. When employees rely on a knowledge management system, creating random links is not necessary. Costs of adopting knowledge affect performance of knowledge management.

Cyber University has been continuously increased since it is of great necessity of education through lifelong study. Recently, the management of cyber universities does not ensure education success, because some problems are coming out. Now we are to take an interest in qualitative level of e-learning. The purpose of this study is to classify and investigate interaction factors of e-learning, which were one of the restrictions to develop e-learning, influence learning flow and satisfaction. The authors discuss the implications of the findings for interaction and learning flow theory and practice.

This study aims to understand the effects of perceived usefulness, perceived ease, and expected matching on user satisfaction and continuous use intention for the learning management system (LMS). To this end, an online survey was conducted on K University students located in Chungcheongbuk-do, and 488 data were analyzed and utilized. First, it was found that the expected match of the learning management system had an effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease. Second, it was found that perceived usefulness, perceived ease, and expected matching had an effect on user satisfaction. Perceived usefulness, user satisfaction and perceived ease of use were found to have an effect on the intention to continue using. It can be seen that the improvement of the quality of the university education system has an effect on the improvement of learners' learning effects and satisfaction. Accordingly, it is necessary to seek various ways to continuously manage the quality of the learning management system.

This paper studies optimal consumption and investment behaviors of an individual when risky asset returns and her income are affected by the business cycle. The investor considers the incomplete information risk of unobservable macroeconomic conditions and updates her belief of expected risky asset returns through Bayesian learning. We find that the optimal investment strategy, certainty equivalent wealth, and portfolio hedging demand significantly depend on the belief about the macroeconomic conditions.

Internet makes it possible to access anytime, anywhere learning and so many LMS(Learning Management Systems) serve web based learning. But LMS has not flexible and qualified metadata to offer customired teaming. So we need extensible and flexible techniques which make if possible to define and share advanced teaming metadata. This paper presents an approach for implementing advanced learning metadata in LMS using RDF and the Semantic Web language. So we will first sketch the learning scenario in Semantic Web environment and structure of metadata management. Next we suggest two types of RDF authoring tool and search RDF documents. Advanced metadata management techniques enables the organization of learning materials around small pieces of semantically annotated learning objects. With these metadata learner can customize learning courses, improve retrieval performances.
