인간공학적 작업공간 설계를 위한 CAD 응용방안 (Application of an Ergonomic Design of Work space Layout Using 3-Dimensional Human Model)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a 3-dimensional human model, an ergonomic CAD (Computer-Aided Design) system which would be very helphul in ergonomic design. An interactive program was developed, in which a user could change layout, body size, skin volume, and posture of the human model. As an example, effect of inclination of a steering wheel on visibility of a display panel was demonstrated. he result showed that ergonomic design can be aided by the 3-dimensional human model, and by the perspective graph by which design and evaluation process can be carried out more effectively.

비전 기반 무인반송차의 효과적인 운행을 위한 가상추적륜 기반 유도선 추적 기법 (A Guideline Tracing Technique Based on a Virtual Tracing Wheel for Effective Navigation of Vision-based AGVs)

  • Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) are widely used in industry. Several types of vision-based AGVs have been studied in order to reduce cost of infrastructure building at floor of workspace and to increase flexibility of changing the navigation path layout. A practical vision-based guideline tracing method is proposed in this paper. A virtual tracing wheel is introduced and adopted in this method, which enables a vision-based AGV to trace a guideline in diverse ways. This method is also useful for preventing damage of the guideline by enforcing the real steering wheel of the AGV not to move on the guideline. Usefulness of the virtual tracing wheel is analyzed through computer simulations. Several navigation tests with a commercial AGV were also performed on a usual guideline layout and we confirmed that the virtual tracing wheel based tracing method could work practically well.

  • The problem of generating minimal area CMOS functional cell layout can be converted to that of decomposing the transistor connection graph into a minimum number of subgraphs, each having a pair of Euler paths with the same sequence of input labels on the N-graph and P-graph, which are portions of the graph corresponding to NMOS and PMOS parts respectively. This paper proposes a heuristic algorithm which yields a nearly minimal number of Euler paths from the path representation formula which represents the give a logic function. Subpath merging is done through a list processing scheme where the pair of paths which results in the lowest cost is successively merged from all candidate merge pairs until no further path merging and further reduction of number of subgraphs are possible. Two examples were shown where we were able to further reduce the number of interlaces, i.e., the number of non-butting diffusion islands, from 3 to 2, and from 2 to 1, compared to the earlier work [1].

  • Today's fierce competition and global economic recession make most of manufacturing companies in the world difficult to gain a profit. In order to survive such a environment and increase competitiveness, manufacturing companies have to continuously eliminate their wasteful factors through an efficient process analysis, improve quality of products, increase the flexibility of manufacturing processes. In this paper, we consider a case study for the Shanghai New Auto which is a subcontractor of MOBIS in China, to improve productivity by using therblig method, one of the motion analysis, to minimize the work-in-process inventories and to shorten the manufacturing cycle times. We also try to relocate the facility layout to increase the efficiency and flexibility of manufacturing processes.

Y-채널 마이크로믹서의 혼합 증대에 관한 연구 (Study on Mixing Enhancement of a Y-channel Micromixer with Obstacles)

  • Effective mixing gives strong advantageous impact on microfluidic applications since mixing is in general very slow process motivated by molecular diffusion transport only on the micro-scale. In this work, the mixing characteristics are analyzed in a Y-channel micromixer with obstacles. For the through analysis, our laboratory in-house unstructured grid CFD code is validated through solving a concentration transport in a uniform microchannel. The solutions well correspond to both exact solutions and those from MemCFD. Mixing in a Y-channel micromixer with obstacles is numerically investigated by the in-house code to search the optimal radius and layout of obstacles. From the simulations, the mixing efficiency appears to be proportional to the magnitude of the formation of lateral velocity component. It is also shown that the asymmetric layout and radius enlargement of obstacles greatly improves mixing efficiency.

Assessment the effect of pile intervals on settlement and bending moment raft analysis of piled raft foundations

  • Application the pile group foundation to reduce overall settlement of the foundation and also avoid a very fruitful settlement of foundations, inconsistent was carried out. In such a case, in event that the Foundation, not as a mere pile group, which as a system consisting of a broad foundation with pile Group, economic design criteria will be provided in spite of high safety. A new approach in the design of the Foundation can be introduced as the piles are just a tool to improve the parameters of soil hardness; that it can work with detachable piles from raft. Centralized arrangement of piles as the most optimal layout of piles in reducing inconsistent settlement, which is the lowest value of resulting layout in this differential settlement. Using the combination of piles connected and disconnected to form the raft, bending moment created in the raft is reduced. It also concentrated arrangements have greatest effect in reducing amount of moment applied to the raft.

  • 본 연구에서는 근무자의 주관적인 판단으로 이루어지는 기존의 좌석배치 방법을 보완하고 근무효율성을 높이기 위한 IOT 기반 데스크 배치 방안을 제안하였다. 경량화 된 사물 인터넷 시스템을 근무장 데스크 배치에 도입하여 근무자 좌석 배치 추천을 합리적으로 보조하기 위하여 데스크의 업무상태를 알아내기 위한 센서의 기능과 종류와 네트워크 프로토콜을 결정하였고 데스크 배치를 위한 근무형태 인지 자료 수집 방법을 제안하였다. 획득한 데이터를 이용하여 좌석배치 추천방안을 결정 할 때, Block Stacking에서 사용하는 알고리즘을 활용하였다. 그 결과 사물인터넷 환경에서 합리적인 데스크 배치를 위한 산술적 근거를 제시할 수 있었으며, 향후 근무자들의 선호도에 더하여 근무형태를 근거로 하는 진보된 유연 좌석제에 적용할 수 있음을 보였다.

수리모형을 이용한 선박 항해기기 패널의 인간공학적 배치 (The Ergonomic Layout of Ship's Bridge Panels using the Mathematical Programming)

  • When designing a ship, ergonomic considerations are crucial when minimizing a navigator's fatigue due to the burden of work, and to appropriately operate the navigational equipment for each given situation by helping the operator to understand the surroundings as well as the physical functions of the ship. However, insufficient consideration of ergonomic elements in the actual design of ship Bridges is lowering the performance of safe navigation and allows for the possibility of operation or readout errors. Consequently, these errors lead to an increase in maritime accidents. Therefore, this study conducted a usability evaluation on the importance of and the usage frequency of navigational equipment, their influence on actual navigation, and the possibility of error upon operation or readout between training ship officers, to derive an optimized layout that includes the consideration of ergonomic factors for on-Bridge navigational equipment, which are currently arranged differently according to their type or size. The optimized layout of on-Bridge navigational equipment was carried out based on the evaluation results, using the Lingo program. Through the process of optimization, revised layouts of on-Bridge navigational equipments(control and display device) were suggested, considering emergency situations(ship collision, stranding, fire and explosion, sinking, etc.) during navigation.

시뮬레이션을 이용한 특수 고기능 의류업체의 생산라인 설계에 관한 연구 (Production Line Planning for Functional Sports Wear using Simulation Model)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a production line using simulation method, which could improve work allocation, labor utility and productivity. Using simulation software AIM, a simulation model of functional sports wear assembly line was developed. A functional sports wear production factory were analysed to gather data necessary for this research. Factory layouts, production facilities, work time of each unit jobs were investigated. The data obtained were used as to build a base simulation model. Then, the base simulation model was verified using the obtained data, such as daily productivity. Using simulation method, low alternative production plans were suggested, which were to enhance productivity, and work efficiency and to reduce queue length and throughput time.

선진사 트랙터 자동변속기 설계 분석 (Automatic Transmission Design Analysis of the Tractor from Advanced Company)

  • A tractor is a farm vehicle that is designed to provide a high tractive effort at low speed. It is used for versatile agricultural tasks such as hauling a trailer, tillage, mowing and construction work. As the intensity of work increases, tractors equipped with automatic transmission become popular due to the work convenience. Though manual and power shuttle transmissions are produced by domestic corporations, development for full-automatic power shift transmissions has never been challenged, and so related technology level is quite low. This paper gives a survey of the automatic transmissions from advanced foreign company, which includes layout of gear train, the way hydraulics controls clutches and brakes, electronic control system. The results are expected to be utilized as a basis in the development of original power train design for tractor.
