This study investigated factors and issues for law school library evaluation. Also, this study suggested the roles and guidelines for law school libraries to perform its own role and function. To carry out the research, surveys were conducted with the law librarians. Then surveys were conducted to investigate law school students' demands and behaviors. Especially this study evaluated law libraries which were not carried out independently and professionally until now and meaningful as it thoroughly investigated users' demands and behavior with law school libraries and function and roles of law librarians. To facilitate law school library services and functions, quality of the collections, librarians' role, and users' needs should be considered as well as buildings and physical facilities. Particularly, users' needs assessment and librarians' opinion survey will be imperative in implementing evaluation.

In this study, we study on the actual conditions of which Korean law school libraries are being operational. Because the successful law school library management means the success of the law school education, guarantees the success of expert education on our laws area. Therefore, this study propose the methods which is designing the content of the law school library website. As a result, an independent law school libraries are 21 (84%). During the law school library websites which are specialized contents with related the law are 15(71%). This website is based, menu of law school library's websites through the analysis of the content are analyzed. Based on this analysis, seven content composition elements that should be service to law school library is proposed in this study.

The purpose of this study was to investigate cook′s duties in the School Foodservice law, comparing with those of other countries and to suggest the more useful details of cook′s duties. As a result of this study many things of the cook′s duties in the School Foodservice law have to be changed. If then, the gap of the School Foodservice law and Food Sanitation law will be decreased, logical application of two laws could be possible and a lot of cook′s abilities could be enoughly used. Compared with other countries, cooks can be responsible officials in the School Foodservice. Suggestions about cook′s duties in the School Foodservice law are as follows. 1. Not only dietitian but also cook should be subscribed as a responsible official in the School Foodservice law. 2. Not only the duties of dietitian but also those of cook should be subscribed in the School Foodservice law. 3. Cook as a responsible official of School Foodservice should investigate the food as well as dietitian. 4. Dietitian teaches cook and assistant cook how to cook presently by the School Foodservice law, but cook should teach how to cook because cooking is cook′s major and cook gets the national certificate of cooking. 5. Cooks do job under dangerous circumstances, so extra money should be paid to cooks. 6. Even if not being described in the law and education of sanitation is presently done in the cook′s reeducation, dietitian educates sanitation to cook, so it has to be changed. Cook can educate sanitation to other workers in the School Foodservice. 7. The name of office room in the School Foodservice systems "dietitian′s room" should be changed to "Foodservice office room". If those suggestions are accomplished, cooks and dietitians can cooperate effectively and respectfully and the better School Foodservice can be served to students.

Faced with the establishment of Korean Law School which aims to educate the qualified lawyer to provide the high quality of legal service professionally and efficiently to the people with complicated legal problems, this study analysed the basic approval standards for Korean Law School Library which is described in the bill as a integral part of law school for effective legal education.

The evaluation of the law schools, which had been launched for the purpose of training the lawyers to settle the legal disputes professionally and effectively, had been done on paper and on site from September through October 2012. Based on not only the basic materials for the evaluation such as evaluation standard, manual, and questionnaire but also the problems revealed during the evaluation, this study intended to show the problems of the evaluation clauses of the law school library which is the basis for the professionalism and diversity of law education and suggest the remedies for them. This study shows that the evaluation clauses need to be made considering the scale of each law school rather than suggesting the same quantitative standard in every law school and to be more specific rather than abstract. Especially, to manage the law school library efficiently from now on, it is necessary to plan and practice the idea of developing such as the specialization and to prepare the idea of operating the law school library through the law school members. Additionally, it is desirable that the chapter of the library exists separately and the library facilities are evaluated together with the other school facilities. Lastly, it is necessary to suggest the appropriate model as the norm to each school according to the school scale.

As an effort to reform legal system of Korea, the law school system is introduced in March 2009. Thus the law culture of Korea is expected to change drastically for diversification, specialization and globalization. With such social trend as background, the author writes on the pre-law and law school courses "Law and Statistics" which were offered at Korea University. Also, he reviews two legal cases and summarizes two research results: DNA database controversies and a sentence standardization model.

We investigated the unequivalence of Food Sanitation law, School Foodservice law and recent reports studied about hazard analysis critical control point(HACCP) system. We also found out that cook's duties were expressed several times in the standard job classification in Korea national statistical office based by the international labor organization(ILO) since 1963, but not ever in the Food Sanitation law and School Foodservice law. Based on these investigations We propose clear expression of cook's duties in the Food Sanitation law and School Foodservice law, and enactment of regulation or law of Cook to reduce any possible food poisonings. However these proposals need to be studied and improved in many different ways for the revision and enactment of the law of cook.

Purpose - Six months have passed since the amendment of the SSM regulation law; however, as yet, there is no confirmed research or report on the effects of this amendment, which are indefinite. Further, there have been no attempts to study the effects of the SSM regulation law from the consumers' viewpoint, which is important because consumers are the main agents that are greatly influenced by the amendment law. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the consumers' attitude toward the SSM regulation law as well as the effects of the SSM regulation law on the changes in purchase behavior. Research design, data, and methodology - This study was initiated from four research problems that are linked to consumer reaction to the SSM regulation law. Research problem 1: What is the consumers' reaction (perception, attitude, and perceived fairness) to the SSM regulation law? Research problem 2: How do the consumers' reactions to the SSM regulation law differ by consumers' characteristics? Research problem 3: Could the SSM regulation law change a consumer's purchase behavior? Research problem 4: Is it necessary to amend the SSM regulation law? This study collected the data through the interview and survey of housewives for the purpose of solving the research problems. The interview was conducted as a pilot study for the field survey. We interviewed three housewives, who were: an employed housewife, a full-time homemaker, and a manager of a housewife club, respectively. We then conducted a field survey of 232 housewives who were housewife club members or elementary school parents in Chunghcheong-do. Results - We verified the reliability and validity of the data, and analyzed it to solve the research problems. The main findings of this study were as follows. First, consumers still have a positive attitude toward large discount chains and SSM, which has been the case since the law was introduced. Second, perceived risk of consumers associated with traditional markets and small neighborhood shops was low. Third, consumers think that amendments of the SSM regulation law are important, and they positively assess the satisfaction, necessity, and propriety of the law. Fourth, although the SSM regulation law caused inconvenience to consumers, this law did not have any influence on the usage frequency and the use-behavior of large discount chains. Finally, consumers reacted very negatively to the toughening up of the SSM regulation law. Conclusions - In short, consumers still have a positive attitude toward the SSM regulation law. However, this act did not have any influence on the use-behavior of large discount chains (General Super Market). Thus, policy making authorities require active communication and promotions to enhance the effect of the SSM regulation law. This study was of the nature of exploratory research, which did not focus on hypothesis testing, but on finding solutions to the research problems. Therefore, this study is no more than a simple data analysis. Future studies should attempt to investigate the actual effects of the SSM regulation law, on the basis of sufficient literature review and real sales data.

In 2019, a child died by a school zone traffic accident in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, the Republic of Korea. Just after the accident, under the name of the "Minsik Law", the Road Traffic Act and the Specific Crime Aggravated Punishment Act were partially revised and went into effect in Korea on March 25, 2020. The new Korean law providing for harsh penalties is designed to reduce automobile accidents in school zones. However, the penalties under the new law seems to be unconstitutionally and unduly harsh. Under the new law, a negligent driver who kills a child at a school zone could be sentenced to indefinite imprisonment, or imprisonment for 3 years or more. The criminal responsibility of a negligent driver at a school zone is the same as serious intentional felonies such as rape, robbery, abandonment resulting in death. Also, even in the case of a school zone accident, if an accident driver complies with the speed limit and other traffic laws and it is impossible to avoid the accident, the driver should not be punished. So, in order to meet the principle of proportionality, the new Korean law should be revised again. In order to find out the appropriate level and punishment method for drivers who cause accidents in school zones, this thesis will compare and analyze the laws of Korea with those of the United States, Germany, and Japan. This paper also reviews the decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea in February 2023 that the "Minsik Law" was constitutional. Based on these analyses, this thesis seeks the direction and amendments to properly revise Korean law. In addition, this thesis is intended to present exemplary measures to improve the school zone safety.

We propose a VSC(Variable Structure Controller) with a PI-type reaching law. In General, conventional VSCs with a reaching law including a discontinuous term have the chattering problem, and thus the system may be unstable due to the disregarded high frequency dynamics in the modeling process. To resolve this problem, the PI-type reaching law is proposed in this paper. The proposed reaching law makes it easy to determine the reaching dynamics as well as the reaching time by utilizing the 2nd-order system analysis. Furthermore, since the discontinous term is not involved in the reaching law, the chattering is considerably reduced. To show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme, the stability of the proposed system is proved by Lyapunov method and the computer simulations are performed for the Ball Balance System.
