All Pass Filter를 이용한 새로운 적응노치필터에 관한 연구 (A Study on the New Adaptive Notch Filter Based on All Pass Filter)

  • In this paper, a new adaptive IIR notch filter employing all pass filter is proposed. Proposed all pass filter is composed of all pole and all zero sections, each of which utilizes modulation lattice filter [11]. And, adaption algorithm for proposed notch filter is also derived. In addition, the error surface for proposed IIR adaptive notch filter is analyzed. Computer simulation results reveal that the proposed adaptation algorithm works well for low SNR(signal to noise ratio) single and multiple sinusoids. And it is shown that for estimation time varying frequency, the parameter which is related to notch bandwidth is important than any other parameters.

The structural and magnetic properties of $Ni_{45}Al_{45}C_{10}$ solid solution as a function of milling times

  • We have studied the formation of alloy for $Ni_{45}AL_{45}C_{10}$ as a function of milling times. This alloy was produced using mechanical alloying. The effect of milling time on local structural changes of $Ni_{45}AL_{45}C_{10}$ has been investigated by means of EXAFS. Both XRD and EXAFS patterns from mechanically alloyed $Ni_{45}AL_{45}C_{10}$ powder indicates the formation of solid solution. The variation of lattice parameter and particle sizes could be analyzed from the different of milling times. Magnetization was also measured by using VSM.

  • We prepared LiMn$_2$O$_4$ by reacting stoichiometric mixture of LiOH.$H_2O$ and MnO$_2$ (mole ratio 1 : 1) and heating at 80$0^{\circ}C$ for 24h, 36h, 48h, 60h and 70h. We obtained through X-ray diffraction that lattice parameter varied as function of heat treatment time. heated cathode active materials at 80$0^{\circ}C$ for 36h, (111)/(311) peak ratio was 0.37. It expected good charge/discharge characteristics. When (111)/(311) peak ratio was 0.37, it will be that crystal structure is farmed very well. In the result of charge/discharge test When heated at 80$0^{\circ}C$ for 36h, charge/discharge characteristic of LiMn$_2$O$_4$is the most property. It agree with our expectation.

A unified formulation for static behavior of nonlocal curved beams

  • Nanobeams are widely used as a structural element for nanodevices and nanomachines. The development of nano-sized machines depends on proper understanding of mechanical behavior of these nano-sized beam elements. Small length scales such as lattice spacing between atoms, surface properties, grain size etc. are need to be considered when applying any classical continuum model. In this study, Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory is incorporated into classical beam model considering the effects of axial extension and the shear deformation to capture unique static behavior of the nanobeams under continuum mechanics theory. The governing differential equations are obtained for curved beams and solved exactly by using the initial value method. Circular uniform beam with concentrated loads are considered. The displacements, slopes and the stress resultants are obtained analytically. A detailed parametric study is conducted to examine the effect of the nonlocal parameter, mechanical loadings, opening angle, boundary conditions, and slenderness ratio on the static behavior of the nanobeam.

생체 친화적인 원소를 함유한 티타늄합금의 미세조직과 탄성계수 (Microstructures and Elastic Moduli of the Alloys Containing the Biocompatible Alloying Elements)

  • New titanium alloys with a low elastic modulus have been developed for biomedical applications to avoid the stress shielding effect of the artificial prosthesis. The newly developed alloys contained the transition elements like Zr, Hf, Nb, Ta which were non-cytotoxicity elements and $\beta$ stabilizers. In the present paper the elastic moduli of Ti-xM containing Zr, Hf, Nb, Ta were evaluated by measuring the acoustic velocity (PEG). The effectiveness of the alloying elements for lowering the elastic modulus was investigated. In addition, the dominant factors for the low modulus were discussed. Ta was the most effective in lowering the elastic modulus of the alloys. The effectiveness of Hf was not acceptable for decreasing the elastic modulus. The dominant factor was the lattice parameter for Zr, and the poisson's ratio for Nb, Ta, respectively.

  • This paper discusses the theoretical researches subject to elastic buckling problems of the structures. The purpose is to ensure the characteristic of buckling be true by arc-length method and the finite element method. The difficulties in processes calculating the equilibrium curve after buckling is to get the equilibrium owe near singular point at which the determinant of stiffness matrix is zero. The purpose of the load-displacement curve is to determine the buckling load of the structure, and further to get the information about the characteristic after buckling. Here, this paper expresses the incremental solution at particular point by the linear combination of both homogeneous mode and particular mode, then uses the method which gets the unknown parameter including this function, through trial-and-error method including modified N-R convergence process. Finally, this paper describes the multiple bifurcation of truss dome as the numerical examples according to this algorithm.

Structure Analysis of $BaTiO_3$ Film on the MgO(001) Surface by Time-Of-Flight Impact-Collision Ion Scattering Spectroscopy

  • Time-of-flight impact collision ion scattering spectroscopy (TOF-ICISS) was applied to study the geometrical structure of the epitaxially grown BaTiO₃ layers on the MgO(100) surface. Hetero-epitaxial BaTiO₃ layers can be deposited by the following steps: first thermal evaporation of titanium onto the MgO(100) surface in the atmosphere of oxygen at 400℃, secondly thermal evaporation of barium in the same manner, and finally annealing at 800℃. Well ordered perovskite BaTiO₃ was confirmed from the ICISS spectra and reflection high electron energy diffraction (RHEED) patterns. It was also revealed that BaTiO₃ had cubic structure with the same lattice parameter of bulk phase.

The Effect of Manganese Substituted M-type Hexagonal Ba-ferrite

  • The Mn-substituted M-type Ba-ferrite ($BaFe_{12-x}Mn_xO_{19}$; x = 0, 2, 4, 6) powders were prepared by the HTTD (High Temperature Thermal Decomposition) method. The effect of $Mn^{3+}$ Jahn-Teller ions on the magnetic properties has been studied by x-ray diffraction, vibrating sample magnetometry, and $M{\ddot{o}}ssbauer$ spectroscopy. With increasing Mn substitution, the lattice parameter $a_0$ increases while $c_0$ decreases. The magnetocrystalline anisotropy constants ($K_1$) were determined as 2.9, 2.2, 1.8, and, $1.3{\times}10^6\;erg/cm^3$ for x = 0, 2, 4, and 6, respectively, by the LAS method. We have studied the change of cation distribution by $M{\ddot{o}}ssbauer$ spectroscopy which is closely related to $K_1$.

  • There are some differences as a result of comparison between internal and external standard method. Thin-film XRD was used to measure the thin damaged layer by proton irradiation. Experiment was performed by external standard method to measure bulk sample accurately. A little changes of crystallite size and lattice parameter by small dose were observed. X-ray penetrates too deeply above damaged layer of graphite despite of small X-ray incident angle.

알루미나의 Ag-33.5Cu-1.5Ti 브레이징 합금 계면에서 생성되는 반응층의 미세조직 관찰과 상 동정 (Identification and Microstructure Observation of Reaction Products formed at Alumina/Ag-33.5Cu-1.5Ti Brazing alloy Interface)

  • Pressureless-sintered polycrystalline alumina and carbon steel were joined with Ag-33.5Cu-1.5Ti (wt%) brazing alloy. SEM observation revealed that two reaction layers with different thicknesses were continuously formed between the alumina and the brazing alloy. A thick layer formed on the brazing alloy side was identified as Ti3(Cu0.93Al0.07)3O phase with diamond cubic structure. Another thin layer adjacent to the alumina was revealed as $\delta$-TiO phase of which the crystal structure was HCP with a lattice parameter of a0=0.419 nm and c0=0.284 nm. It was confirmed using XPS analysis that $\delta$-TiO was formed directly by a redox reaction of alumina with titanium ir, molten brazing alloy.
