기계적 편향판 설치위치의 변화에 따른 유동특성에 대한 연구 (A Study on Flow Characteristics with the Installed Location Change of Mechanical Deflector)

  • Thrust vector control is the method which generates the side force and roll moment by controlling exhausted gas directly in a rocket nozzle. TVC is classified by mechanical and fluid dynamic methods. Mechanical methods can change the flow direction by several objects installed in a rocket nozzle exhaust such as tapered ramp tabs and jet vane. Fluid dynamic methods control the flight direction with the injection of secondary gaseous flows into the rocket nozzle. The tapered ramp tabs of mechanical methods are used in this paper. They installed at the rear in the rocket nozzle could be freely moved along axial and radial direction on the mounting ring to provide the mass flow rate which is injected from the rocket nozzle. TVC of the tapered ramp tabs has the potential to produce both large axial thrust and high lateral force. We have conducted the experimental research and flow analysis of ramp tabs to show the performance and the structural integrity of the TVC. The experiments are carried out with the supersonic cold flow system and the schlieren graph. This paper provides to analyze the location of normal shock wave and distribution of surface pressure on the region enclosed by the tapered ramp tabs.

낙동강하구에서의 하천수 플룸의 횡방향퍼짐과 부유퇴적물의 수송 (Lateral Spreading of a River Plume and Transport of Suspended Sediments in the Nakdong Estuary)

  • 하수젯트플룸과 주변염수와의 밀도차가 Gauss 분포를 한다는 가정하에 저자들이 구한 플룸의 횡방향 퍼짐에 대한 이론해를 낙동강 하수플룸의 관측자료로 검증하였다. 또한 플룸의 존재가 세립 부유퇴적물의 이동에 미치는 영향도 검토되었다. 현장 관측자료는 이론적인 계산결과와 비교적 잘 맞는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 논문에서 채택하여 검증한 플룸의 횡방향 유동에 대한 이론해가 플룸의 횡방향 퍼짐문제를 다루는데 유용하게 쓰일 수 있을 것이라는 결론을 내릴 수 있었다. 플룸의 존재로 인한 밀도 성충으로 인하여 부유퇴적물은 침전이 지연되고 통상적 정상류의 경우보다 더욱 밀리 운반되는 것으로 생각된다.

  • 현대의 고성능 전투기는 공대공 및 공대지 전투 임무를 수행하기 위해 여러 가지 무장 형상을 하고 있고, 무장투하 시 비대칭 형상(Asymmetric Configuration)으로 임무를 수행하는 경우가 많다. 현재, 개발이 진행 중인 T-50 훈련기의 비대칭 무장형상 비행시험에서 세로축 기동 시 가로축 방향으로 조종사가 원하지 않는 운동이 발생하는데, 이는 항공기 안정성 및 조종성에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 현상을 개선하기 위하여 기존의 가로축 제어법칙인 미끄럼각-미끄럼각속도 귀환 구조를 F-16과 같이 단순 롤각속도 귀환구조로 적용하였다. 연구결과, 단순 롤각속도 귀환구조로 가로축 제어법칙을 변경하였을 때 비대칭 무장형상에서 세로축 기동 시 가로축 운동의 발생이 줄어들었으며, 시스템의 안정도 여유는 설계기준에 만족한다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • The design and construction of strutted and anchored sheet pile walls in soft clay are reviewed based on experience gained mainly in Singapore during the last 10years where mainly strutted sheet pile walls diaphragm walls, and contiguous bored piles are used. It is important to consider in the design the high lateral earth pressures acting on the sheet piles below the bottom of the excavation when the depth of the excavation is large compared with the shear strength of the clay. The strut loads and the maximum bending moment in the sheet piles can in that case be much higher than indicated by a conventional analysis. Different methods to increase the stability have been investigated. With jet grouting, embankment piles and excavation under water it is possible to reduce significantly the maximum bending moment, the strut loads, and the settlements outside the excavated area as well as the heave within the excavation.

비행제어법칙 설계 및 해석 절차에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Control Law Design and Analysis Process)

  • An advanced method of Relaxed Static Stability (RSS) is utilized for improving the aerodynamic performance of modem version supersonic jet fighter aircraft. The flight control system utilizes RSS criteria in both longitudinal and lateral-directional axes to achieve performance enhancements and improve stability. Standard CLDA (Control Law Design and Analysis) process is provided that reduce the development period of the flight control system. In addition, if this process is employed in developing flight control laws, it reduces the trial and error development and verification of control laws. This paper details the design process of developing a flight control law for the RSS aircraft, utilizing military specifications, linear and nonlinea, analysis using XMATH and ATLAS(Aircraft, Tim Linear and Simulation), handling quality tests using the HQS (Handling Quality Simulator), and real flight test results to verify aircraft dynamic flight responses.

  • An advanced method of Relaxed Static Stability (RSS) is utilized for improving the aerodynamic performance of modem version supersonic jet fighter aircraft. The flight control system utilizes RSS criteria in both longitudinal and lateral-directional axes to achieve performance enhancements and improve stability. The T-50 advanced trainer employs the RSS concept in order to improve the aerodynamic performance and the flight control law in order to guarantee aircraft stability, The T-50 longitudinal control laws employ the dynamic inversion and proportional-plus-integral control method. This paper details the design process of developing longitudinal control laws for the RSS aircraft, utilizing the requirement of MIL-F-8785C. In addition, This paper addresses the analysis of aircraft characteristics such as damping, natural frequency, gain and phase margin about state variables for longitudinal inner loop feedback design.

압축기용 라비린스 실의 동특성 해석 (Rotordynamic Analysis of Compressor Labyrinth Seals)

  • An analysis of lateral hydrodynamic forces of compressor labyrinth seals is presented. Basic equations are derived using a two-control-volume model for compressible flow. Blasius' wall friction-factor formula and jet flow theory are used for the calculaton of wall shear stresses and recirculation velocity in the cavity. Linearized zeroth-order and first-order perturbation equations are developed for a small motion about the centered position by expansion in the eccentricity ratio. Integraton of the resultant first-order pressure distribution over the seal defines the rotordynamic coefficients. As an application a rotordynamic analysis of the balance drum labyrinth seal found in an ethylene regrigeration copmressor is carried out. The rotordynamic characteristic results of the labyrinth seal are presented and compared with other types of seals, honeycomb seal and smooth seal.

  • The lateral hoof of right hind limb of a pregnant Masai giraffe was accidentally injured, and its coronet, hoof wall, and sole were detached in a mass. The bleeding was observed from the exposed dermis of the affected foot for several hours, with second scoreof supporting lameness. The bleeding from the digital artery at the exposed dermis was stopped by epinephrine spray and direct pressing. Nitrofurazone ointment was topocally applied for 5 days and sxytetracycline solusion was delivered by a fluid jet in the affected hoof one month. The calf was born 5 months after the avulsion. The horn of the hoof wall was grown from the coronet to sole, and was gradually filled from the heel to the toe. The growth rate and filling rate of the hoof wall were 0.32mm and 0.54mm a day, respectively.

  • 가로흐름이 존재하는 무한수역으로 방출되는 표면 온배수에 의한 온도장 예측을 위하여 k-$\varepsilon$ 난류모델을 이용한 근해역 3차원 온배수 수치모델을 개발하였다. 개발된 모델에 의한 수치실험 결과는 다소 제한적이긴 하나, 실험결과 자료와 비교적 잘 일치하였다. 3차원 온배수 난류모델의 적용을 통해 가로흐름과 상호작용은 물론 수심적분 2차원 수치모델에서 해석이 곤란한 온배수 확장에 따른 성층화 현상, 부력에 기인된 횡방향의 중력확장 및 제트 저면에서의 포획연행 현상을 잘 나타내었다.
