反復荷重을 받는 흙의 構成關係式 開發 (Development of Constitutive Equation for Soils Under Cyclic Loading Conditions)

  • Various soil behaviors usually occurring in the geotechnical problems, such as, cutting and embankments, stability of slope, seepage, consolidations, shearing failures and liquefaction, should be predicted and analyzed in any way. An approach of these predictions may be followed by the development of the constitutive equations as first and subsequently solved by numerical methods. The purpose of this paper is develop the constitutive equation of sands uder monotonic or cyclic loadings. The constitutive equation which is based on elasto-plastic theory, modified anisotropic consolidated stress parameter by Sekiguchi et al and Pender's theory is derived. And the equation is included a new stress parameter, hardening function, Bauschinger's effects and Pender's theory. The model is later evaluated and confirmed the validity by the test data of Ottawa sand, Banwol sand Hongseong sand. The following conclustions may be drawn: 1. The consititutive equation which is based on elasto-plastic theory, modified anisotropic consolidated stress parpameter by Sekiguchi et al and Pender's theory is derived. The equation in included a new stress parameter, hardening function, Bauschinger's effect and Pender's theory. 2. For Ottawa sand, the result of the constitutive equation shows a better agreement than that of Oka et al. The result of axial strain agrees well with the tested data. However, the result of horizontal strain is little bit off for the cyclic loadings or large stress. It is thought that the deviation may be improved by considering Poisson's ratio and precise measurement of shear modulus. 3. Banwol sand is used for the strain and stress tests with different relative densitites and confining pressures. The predeicted result shows a good agreement with the tested data because the required material parameters were directly measurd and determined form this laboratory. 4. For Hongseong sand, the tests under same amplitude of cyclic deviatoric stress shows a similar result with the tested data in absolute strain. It shows the acute shape of turning point because the sine wave of input is used in the test but the serrated wave in prediction.

Riprap으로 보강된 농업용 저수지 제체의 붕괴거동 (Behavior of Failure on Agricultural Reservoirs Embankment by Riprap Reinforcement Method)

  • In this study, the large scale test was performed to investigate the behavior of failure on the embankment and spillway transitional zone by overtopping. The pore water pressure, earth pressure, settlement and failure behaviors according to several reinforcing method were compared and analyzed. The pore water pressure showed a small change in the spillway transition zone and core, indicating that the riprap and geotextile efficiently reinforced the embankment, but non-reinforcement showed a largely change in pore water pressure. The earth pressure by riprap and geotextile at upstream slope and bottom core increased rapidly with the infiltration of the pore water by overtopping. And the earth pressure at crest showed a smally change due to effect of the inclined core. A settlement by riprap showed a small change and the geotextile decreased a rapidly due to failure of crest. The width of failure by riprap at intermediate stage (50 min) showed a largely due to sliding of crest. But, the width and depth of the seepage erosion after the intermediate overtopping period (100 min) were very small due to the effect of riprap than geotextile and non-reinforcement which delayed failure. It has the effect that protect reservoir embankment from erosion in the central part. The pore water pressure at the spillway transition zone due to overtopping increased a rapidly in the case of non-reinforcement, but the reinforced methods by geotextile and riprap showed a smally change. Therefore, the reinforced method by riprap and geotextile was a very effective method to protect permanently and the emergency an embankment due to overtopping, respectively.

최적 경로 탐색을 이용한 자전거 경로 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Bicycle Route Selection Using Optimal Path Search)

  • 다익스트라 알고리즘은 네트워크 상에서 최단경로를 찾는 것으로 널리 알려져 있다. 그러나, 최적 경로 탐색을 위하여 임의점과의 최단거리만 고려해서 선택하는 다익스트라 알고리즘보다 목표점까지 휴리스틱 요소를 고려하여 판단하는 $A^*$ 알고리즘에 대한 연구가 더 필요하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 자전거 경로 선정을 위한 다익스트라 알고리즘과 $A^*$ 알고리즘의 성능을 비교하였다. 이를 위하여, 자전거 경로 선정 요소를 이용하여 경사에 따른 수평거리와 평균 속도를 계산하였다. 그리고 다익스트라 알고리즘과 $A^*$ 알고리즘을 적용해 최단거리와 최단시간에 따른 자전거 경로 선정을 수행하였다. 실험 결과 대규모 지역에서 $A^*$ 알고리즘이 다익스트라 알고리즘보다 경로 선정 처리 시간이 빠르게 나타났다. 향후 최적 경로선정 알고리즘은 자전거 노선 계획이나 자전거 실시간 모바일 앱에 활용될 수 있다.

산사태로 인한 인명피해 대비 개인용 재난대피기구 개발 (I) - 재하하중 및 재료시험 중심으로 - (Development of the Personal Disaster Evacuation Apparatus in Case of the Life Damage by the landslide (I) - Focusing on the Load Weight and Material Test -)

  • The houses are formed in the lower part of the mountain slope face in most agricultural areas of Korea, and old residents accounting for a large portion of the agricultural populations cannot respond to the evacuation quickly when the landslide happens, and the possibility the life damage occurs is high. Therefore, it is urgent to arrange the measure on this. This study is intended to develop the personal disaster evacuation apparatus that can be installed in the house to minimize the life damage by the landslide and to develop the self-initiative evacuation apparatus. This study suggested the load applicable to the personal disaster evacuation apparatus by quantitatively analyzing the effect of the load of rockslides and avalanches caused by the landslide on the structure. Also, the material property of materials was calculated through the tension and bending intensity test after making the specimen of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) member. The load weight and material property drawn from this study can be used as the basic material for the stability analysis of the personal disaster evacuation apparatus.

Saw-tooth softening/stiffening - a stable computational procedure for RC structures

  • Over the past years techniques for non-linear analysis have been enhanced significantly via improved solution procedures, extended finite element techniques and increased robustness of constitutive models. Nevertheless, problems remain, especially for real world structures of softening materials like concrete. The softening gives negative stiffness and risk of bifurcations due to multiple cracks that compete to survive. Incremental-iterative techniques have difficulties in selecting and handling the local peaks and snap-backs. In this contribution, an alternative method is proposed. The softening diagram of negative slope is replaced by a saw-tooth diagram of positive slopes. The incremental-iterative Newton method is replaced by a series of linear analyses using a special scaling technique with subsequent stiffness/strength reduction per critical element. It is shown that this event-by-event strategy is robust and reliable. First, the model is shown to be objective with respect to mesh refinement. Next, the example of a large-scale dog-bone specimen in direct tension is analyzed using an isotropic version of the saw-tooth model. The model is capable of automatically providing the snap-back response. Subsequently, the saw-tooth model is extended to include anisotropy for fixed crack directions to accommodate both tensile cracking and compression strut action for reinforced concrete. Three different reinforced concrete structures are analyzed, a tension-pull specimen, a slender beam and a slab. In all cases, the model naturally provides the local peaks and snap-backs associated with the subsequent development of primary cracks starting from the rebar. The secant saw-tooth stiffness is always positive and the analysis always 'converges'. Bifurcations are prevented due to the scaling technique.

지표피복재 적용을 통한 비점오염원 저감효과 분석 (Analysis of the Reduction Effect on NPS Pollution Loads by Surface Cover Application)

  • Effect of rice straw mat and wood shaves on the reduction of runoff and nonpoint source (NPS) pollution loads from field plots were experimentally studied. Three runoff plots of $5{\times}22$ m in size and 3 % in slope were prepared on a loamy sand field. Each plot was equipped with a flume to measure runoff and collect water samples. Experimental treatments of surface cover were bare, wood shaves (1,000 kg/ha) and rice straw mat cover (3,000 kg/ha). Under radish was cultivation. During the growing season of the radish, three rainfall-runoff events were monitored. Effect of wood shaves and straw mat cover on runoff reduction was 4~30 % and 33~75 % respectively compared to control. The effect on NPS pollution reduction was 36.8 and 64.3 % in BOD, 41.1 and 80.8 % in SS, 34.0 and 56.1 % in TP and 28.0 and 56.6 % in TN respectively. It was analyzed that the reduction of runoff and NPS pollution were mainly contributed by the decrease of rainfall energy impact and flow velocity and the increase of infiltration due to the surface cover materials. Rice straw mat showed very stable soil cover while large portion of wood shaves were lost during heavy storm events. It was concluded that straw mat was an efficient cover material to reduce NPS pollution from upland fields.

지형공간 정보를 활용한 산사태 안정평가의 확률론적 해석 (Probabilistic Analysis for Stability Evaluation of Landslides Using Geo-spatial Information)

  • 본 연구는 산사태의 발생 가능성을 평가하기 위하여 지형공간 정보를 활용하여 지형자료를 구축하고, 힘의 평형으로 유도된 무한사면 안정해석모델을 적용하여 산사태 가능성을 정량적인 안전지표로 평가하였다. 또한, 해석모델에 입력인자의 불확실성을 고려할 수 있는 확률변수 개념을 도입하여 신뢰성 이론에 근거를 둔 산사태의 확률론적 분석법을 연구하였다. 이러한 해석방법의 적용성을 검토하기 위하여 실제 현장자료로부터 지형정보와 토질 조건 등을 획득하고, 넓은 지역에 대한 개략적 평가를 위한 전체해석과 세밀한 결과 도출을 위한 상세해석을 실시하였다. 이를 통하여 전반적인 산사태 발생 가능성 경향, 산사태 가능성이 높은 상세해석 구간 선정 및 상세구간에서의 보다 높은 정도의 산사태발생 가능성을 안전율과 파괴확률의 안정지표로 분석할 수 있었다.

중규모 종합병원 대상 카바페넴 내성 장내세균속균종(Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae) 획득위험 예측모형의 외적타당도 평가 (External Validation of Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacteriaceae Acquisition Risk Prediction Model in a Medium Sized Hospital)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to evaluate the external validity of a carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) acquisition risk prediction model (the CREP-model) in a medium-sized hospital. Methods: This retrospective cohort study included 613 patients (CRE group: 69, no-CRE group: 544) admitted to the intensive care units of a 453-beds secondary referral general hospital from March 1, 2017 to September 30, 2019 in South Korea. The performance of the CREP-model was analyzed with calibration, discrimination, and clinical usefulness. Results: The results showed that those higher in age had lower presence of multidrug resistant organisms (MDROs), cephalosporin use ≥ 15 days, Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II (APACHE II) score ≥ 21 points, and lower CRE acquisition rates than those of CREP-model development subjects. The calibration-in-the-large was 0.12 (95% CI: - 0.16~0.39), while the calibration slope was 0.87 (95% CI: 0.63~1.12), and the concordance statistic was .71 (95% CI: .63~.78). At the predicted risk of .10, the sensitivity, specificity, and correct classification rates were 43.5%, 84.2%, and 79.6%, respectively. The net true positive according to the CREP-model were 3 per 100 subjects. After adjusting the predictors' cutting points, the concordance statistic increased to .84 (95% CI: .79~.89), and the sensitivity and net true positive was improved to 75.4%. and 6 per 100 subjects, respectively. Conclusion: The CREP-model's discrimination and clinical usefulness are low in a medium sized general hospital but are improved after adjusting for the predictors. Therefore, we suggest that institutions should only use the CREP-model after assessing the distribution of the predictors and adjusting their cutting points.

토목섬유 접촉면의 역학적 특성 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement Mechanical Properties of Geosynthetic Interface)

  • 흙채움 마대는 현장의 재료를 사용하여 간편하게 사면 및 제방의 복구나 보강에 사용되고 있다. 이런 흙채움 마대의 전단저항력을 증가시키기 위해 흙채움 마대 상 하면에 벨크로(Velcro)를 부착한 흙채움 마대가 개발되었으며, 벨크로를 부착한 흙채움 마대의 역학적 특성을 분석하기 위해 대형직접전단실험과 원호파괴를 가정한 실내모형실험이 수행되었다. 실제 벨크로가 부착된 마대를 이용해 사면을 설계하기 위해 흙-토목섬유 요소실험을 실시하여 강도정수를 파악하였다. 그리고 사면형성 시 벨크로와 흙채움 마대가 혼재하고 있기 때문에 정확한 파괴면을 알 수 없다. 따라서 실내모형실험을 통해 내적파괴에 대한 거동을 분석하고, 역해석을 통해 설계강도정수를 제안하였다. 흙-토목섬유의 요소실험결과, 벨크로의 부착으로 인해 흙채움 마대 상호간의 전단저항 정수인 내부마찰각과 점착력의 증가가 나타났으며, 특히 내부마찰각보다는 점착력의 뚜렷한 증가가 나타난 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 실내모형실험 결과, 지지력이 20%이상 증가해 대형장비의 주행성 증가와 시공속도의 증대를 가져올 것으로 판단된다.

주행속도와 기하구조에 따른 운전자 불안뇌파 분석 -고속주행시를 중심으로- (A Study of the Relationship between Driver's Anxiety EEG & Driving Speed in Motorway Sections)

  • For establishing a standard of design element of the smart highway, this study investigated driver's anxiety EEG according to running speeds and geometric designs. Also, the experiment was implemented on 60 subjects. Based on running speed data and brainwave data, which were obtained from the experiment, this study analyzes anxiety EEG according to running speeds and geometric designs, and finally draws a forecasting model of anxiety EEG by selecting affecting factors of anxiety EEG. Forecasting model shows that left curve is the most influential on anxiety EEG figure. The reason is because when driver is driving on the first-lane, his or her visibility is impeded by a median strip. For this reason, anxiety EEG figure increases. And also steep downward slope and large radius of curve are heavily influential on driver's anxiety EEG figure. It is judged that anxiety EEG figure is increased by high speed on those section. Thus, the forecasting model of anxiety EEG suggested on this study will be utilized for design phase, and will decide the design speed on the superhighway. So, it will be used to make practical and safety road.
