하청형 중소기업의 전략적 기업혁신 -기술베이스의 동태적 다각화를 중심으로 -

  • TOEM strategy is widely used in Japan and Korea because of the diverse advantages such as cost sharing, technology transfer, equipment lease and base technology acquisition between parent company and OEM supplier. There are, however, some disadvantages that (1)OEM suppliers are likely to be reactive to environmental changes and (2) may have difficulty in building competitive position and long-term growth. When the parent company relocates its plant to foreign countries to achieve lower labor cost or to enhance value added this change will affect directly the OEM supplier's outcome. The parent company's divestiture from existing businesses will also affect the OEM supplier. For the OEM supplier to survive in face of these strategic changes it must enter the new countries with the parent company. Alternatively, the OEM supplier must actively diversify its technologies based on its core capabilities of existing product and process technologies and seek new business arenas. The strategy of aligning its businesses with the parent company's new business strategy allows the OEM supplier to share the new market while it requires the OEM supplier to develop core capabilities. In Korea many small and medium sized OEM suppliers are dependent on a few large companies. For the industry structure in Korea where industry concentration is extremely high OEM suppliers should move away from the past strategy, where they are dependent on the parent company's low profitability businesses. They should actively enter new businesses for which parent companies enter to achieve long-term growth.

AHP를 활용한 스마트워크 정보보호 요소의 중요도 분석 -중소기업의 모바일 오피스를 중심으로- (Analysis on Importance of Information Security Factors for Smart Work using AHP -Based on the Mobile Office for Small Businesses-)

  • 우리나라는 최근 온실가스 감축, 저출산 고령화 문제 해결, 생산성 향상 등을 위해 스마트워크를 서서히 도입하고 있다. 우리나라의 경우 ICT 인프라의 발달과 스마트 기기의 확산으로 스마트워크 유형 중 하나인 모바일 오피스가 가장 많이 도입되고 있으나, 중소기업의 모바일 오피스 도입률은 대기업의 절반 수준에 그치고 있으며, 중소기업의 스마트워크 도입에 있어 가장 큰 장애요인의 하나가 보안 문제인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 중소기업이 스마트워크의 한 유형인 모바일 오피스를 도입하고자 할 때 우선적으로 고려해야 할 정보보호 요소를 분석하고자 하였다. 선행연구 분석을 통해 모바일 오피스 정보보호 요소를 단말기, 응용프로그램 및 플랫폼, 네트워크, 서버, 사용자 등 5개 영역으로 구분하여 각각 세부항목을 정리하였다. AHP를 활용한 조사 결과 상위계층에서는 '사용자'가 가장 중요한 항목으로 도출되었으며, 24개의 하위 요소 중에서는 '데이터 암호화', '무선랜 통제', '퇴사 시 단말 회수' 등이 중요한 모바일 오피스 정보보호 요소인 것으로 나타났다.

  • Marine fish aquaculture has been introduced on the East sea since 1964. The production volume of the marine aquaculture has been increasing drastically since 1990 with the technological improvements and the introduction of new species. However, the increasing costs of feed, seedlings and medical supplies and the decreasing prices due to the increase in the imports and domestic production have decreased the profits in the aquaculture business. Futhermore, the damage from the natural disasters such as red tides and typhoons has accelerated the exit from the business. Even though managing abilities to overcome the business crisis caused by the above factors are required, business managers based on the small scale family businesses do not have enough managing abilities to deal with the difficulties in the business. On the other hand, advanced countries in the marine aquaculture such as Norway have reached the stage where the managing abilities of marine aquaculture are similar to those in the manufacturing industry. And the number of large scale aquaculture farms with developed technologies and advanced marketing strategies in those countries is increasing. Considering that the marine aquaculture in Japan under the similar fishery systems of Korea has developed the state-of-the-art management skills or lead to large scale management, it is difficult to expect the decrease in the production costs under the small scale family business in Korea and this will lead to the decreasing competitive advantage over the imported seafood. Therefore marine aquaculture in Korea needs to increase the economy of scale to acquire the competitive advantage. This study addresses the possibility of introducing the large scale aquaculture system in Korea by analysing the factors and process of leading to large scale businesses in the aquaculture in Japan.

A Study on the Collaboration Development between the SSM and Traditional Markets in Korean Government Policies

  • Purpose - This study aims to suggest policy directions for small retail markets in Korea by statistical analysis, which would help small retailers who are facing various difficulties. Research design, data, methodology - This study diagnoses the problems faced by small retail industries in Korea based on government statistics. In addition, this study identifies three areas for successful collaboration between the SSMs and traditional markets-information distribution, products, and fair trade. Results - This study makes three recommendations-information distribution, products, and fair trade. This includes activation of the existing mutual collaboration efforts, channels, CSR report writing and publicity, ethical management cooperation seminars, contract systems of no return, establishment of staff outsourcing standards, and support for suppliers' organizations. Conclusions - Our suggestions for a collaborative system (based on the three suggestions) show that collaboration rather than confrontation between large and small markets can lead to a sales increase of 2,258.2 billion Won, which is equivalent to the sales loss in 11 traditional markets in one year in Busan.

  • 아웃소싱의 새로운 형태로 등장한 ASP 서비스는 저렴한 비용, 낮은 위험부담 등의 장점 때문에 소기업이나 신생기업에 유용한 정보화 방안이 될 수 있다. 그러나 ASP는 그 중요성에도 불구하고 이에 대한 학문적 연구는 그렇게 많지 않은 실정이며, 지금까지 아웃소싱에 대한 연구 또한 대기업을 주 대상으로 하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 ASP 서비스의 주 사용자 입장에서 국내 소기업과 관련한 주요 환경변수가 ASP 서비스의 활용유형에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 그 활용유형별로 서비스 만족도와 기업성과간의 관계를 살펴보는데 있다. 실증분석결과, 본 연구에서 주요 환경변수로 고려된 기업규모는 소기업의 정보화 필요성 인식도에 영향을 미치고 정보화 필요성 인식도는 교육시간 및 사용기간에 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한, 기업규모, 정보화 필요성 인식도, 교육시간은 소기업의 ASP 서비스 활용유형에 영향을 미치는 반면에 사용기간은 소기업의 ASP 서비스 활용유형에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서는 소기업의 ASP 서비스 활용유형은 기업성과 및 사용자 만족도에 영향을 미치고 ASP 서비스에 대한 사용자 만족도는 기업성과에 영향을 미친다는 점을 검증하였다.

대·중소 상생형 스마트공장 구축 지원 사업 도입기업에 대한 성과분석 (Support Project for the Establishment of a Smart Factory for the Win-win between Large and Small Businesses Performance Analysis of the Adopting Company)

  • The smart factory is an important system that can reduce defects, maximize productivity, and respond to customer needs, from the labor-intensive era of traditional small and medium-sized manufacturing companies through the automation era to CPS using ICT. However, small and medium-sized manufacturers often fall short of the basic stage due to economic and environmental constraints, and there are many companies that do not even recognize the concept of a smart factory. In this situation, to expand the smart factory of small and medium-sized enterprises, the project to support the establishment of a smart factory for the win-win between large and small enterprises. The win-win smart factory construction support project provides a customized differentiation program support project according to the size and level of the company for all domestic manufacturing SMEs regardless of whether or not they are dealing with Samsung. In this study, we analyze the construction status and introduction performance of companies participating in the win-win smart factory support project to find out whether they have been helpful in management and to find efficient ways to improve support policies, and to suggest the direction of continuous support projects to improve the manufacturing competitiveness of SMEs in the future.

중소기업 가치사슬 경쟁력이 대.중소기업 상생활동 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Influence of Collaborative Performance of Large Corporations and SMEs Value Chain Competence in SMEs)

  • Large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises businesses have tried finding cooperative partner models through win-win activity. In this study, certain factors were researched, which affect on the achievements by win-win activity of large corporative and SMEs from a standpoint of development by SMEs, the establishment of confidence, technical innovation and competence of value chain competence in order to enforce supplying value under the win-win activity. The result of this research presents that the achievement of win-win activity by large corporations and SMEs is related positively to developmental capability, cooperative culture, developmental innovation, innovation of process, outer technological innovation and value chain.

  • 농촌 지역사회의 지속적인 성장과 활성화는 지역경제에 의해 좌우되고, 마찬가지로 지역주민들의 생필품 공급은 지역소매업자들에게 의해 이루어진다. 이러한 현실에서, 농촌지역의 영세소매업자에 대해 관심을 가지고 이들을 연구하는 것은 지역공동체의 지속적인 성장에 중요할 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 대규모의 할인점들과의 경쟁에 직면하고 있는 미국 농촌 지역의 영세소매업자들(의류, 보석, 꽃, 철물 등)중에서 대규모의 할인점들과의 치열한 경쟁에 성공을 거둔 영세소매업자들이 어떠한 마케팅, 머천다이징, 고객서비스, 경영전략을 실시하고 있는지를 살펴보는 것이다. 또한, 영세소매업자들의 성공을 가능케 한 사업전략으로 사회적 자본인 지역사회참여가 어떻게 사용되고 있는지도 고찰하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 미국 중서부 지역의 세 도시를 대표하는 27명의 농촌소매업자들과의 인터뷰 및 내용분석방법을 사용하였다. 연구결과, 이들은 몇 가지 효과적인 경영전략들을 실시하고 있지만, 아직도 미흡한 부분들이 있었다. 결과부분에서는 이들이 사용하고 있는 주요 경영관행들에 대해 논의하였다.

도시 및 농촌지역 사업체 유형별 노동시장 안정성 비교분석: 산업군, 종사자규모 및 존속기간별 유형을 중심으로 (Analysis and Comparison of Labor Market Stability by Business Categories in Urban and Rural Areas : Industrial Group, Employment Size, and Survival Duration)

  • Stability of labor market in rural areas was analyzed in this paper with categories of industrial group, employment scale, surviving period, and founder group. The stability of each classified labor market was compared with each other to figure out the stable business class and the unstable class in rural areas. The results of rural areas were compared with those of urban areas. The stability was analyzed with average and coefficient of variation (C.V.) of annual total employees' change rates. It was revealed that labor market of 'primary industry', including agriculture, is unstable. Especially, labor market of 'mid-size' and 'primary industry' businesses founded as 'incorporated company' in rural areas is vulnerable. While labor market of 'large-size' is proved to be unstable, it is confirmed that 'small-size' or 'mid-size', and 'over-ten-year survived' businesses have positive contribution to the stable labor market in rural and urban areas. The results show that the stability of labor market is different in each category of business and in each region of rural or urban area. It is expected that the results can be utilized for the regional development policies, of labor and industry part.

  • The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, which began in 2020, had a significant impact on the economy and business activities worldwide. Large companies, as well as small businesses were affected, many of them had to scale down or divert their businesses, and some even had to stop. This extraordinary situation requires business people to make innovations and adjustments to survive during a pandemic. Entering the digital era, business players are helped by the ease of internet access, which will make it easier for SME players to get data from their consumers. Business actors can use this data to innovate and create new creations to improve business performance during this pandemic. This research aims to identify how small and medium enterprises can take advantage of Big Data to improve marketing performance through innovation and value creation. The research methodology used the in this research is quantitative method. The respondents are SME producers of food and beverage, with a total of 150 respondents. The results in the study indicate that all the proposed hypotheses are accepted. The most significant influence is found on the relationship of Big Data to value creation. The lowest effect was obtained from the relationship between Big Data and marketing performance through the mediation variable and innovation capability.
