As this study aimed to examine which influence the nonverbal communication of service provider has upon service performance in terms of service industry, the specific objectives are as follows. First, it tried to examine into the relationship between the nonverbal communication in the service provider, and the emotional attachment. Nonverbal communication is divided into 4 kinds such as physical language, proxemics, paralanguage, and physical appearance. Second, it aimed to examine the relationship between the customer's attachment to the service provider, and the social competence and trust in the service provider. Third, it tried to examine into the relationship of service provider's social competence and trust with the customer satisfaction and with the switching costs. Additionally, it examined the moderating effect in the service type and the service usage period in terms of the model that was presented in this study. Given examining the verified results in these research hypotheses, those are as follows. First, given seeing the relationship between the nonverbal communication and the emotional attachment, it was represented that the physical language, proxemics, and physical appearance, except paralanguage, have significantly positive(+) influence upon emotional attachment. Second, it was indicated that emotional attachment has significantly positive(+) influence upon the social competence and trust in the service provider. Third, the social competence in the service provider had no positive effect(+) on customer satisfaction, and was having significantly positive(+) influence upon the customer's perceived switching barrier. Fourth, it was represented that the customer satisfaction toward the service provider have significantly positive(+) influence upon the switching barrier. Finally, as a result of having verified whether or not the moderating effect in the service type and the service usage period, it was indicated to be produced the difference depending on the service type in the relationships between the physical language and the emotional attachment, between the paralanguage and the emotional attachment, between the emotional attachment and the trust, and between the trust and the switching barrier. Depending on the service usage period, the difference was represented, respectively, in the relationships between the physical language and the emotional attachment and between the physical appearance and the emotional attachment.

This study is to validate the use of macro language for the land suitability analysis aiming to help to resolve land use conflicts. The silver-town suitability analysis is conducted on the Geejang Gun, Busan Metropolitan city. Such digital maps as terrain, road, facility, and water body were created for various cartographic models. A cartographic model identified the best suitable areas for silver-town development based on the such site selection variables as a distance to facility and road, slope and aspect of terrain, land use etc. Then, the other cartographic model identified the most favorable site among the candidate sites based on the comparison of the aspect of proximity, usage and environmental quality. Macro language was used for these modeling process and was used for the manipulation of all these spatial variables used in the models to resolve land use conflicts relating to the decision making process of the final site selection. This study will improve the effectiveness and rationality of the traditional site suitability analysis.

Research studies have shown that phonological awareness focused analogies and anagrams can be used as an effective game-based teaching instruction. However, previous studies used analogies and anagrams as separate instructional tools, especially in EFL-related situations. There has been no vocabulary learning in analogies/anagrams instruction provided, nor has there been usage of an integrated workbook for 'vocabulary learning and analogies/anagrams'. This study examined the effect on learners' vocabulary acquisition scores when a truly phonological awareness integrated 'analogies/anagrams and vocabulary learning' workbook was used as an instructional practice workbook. The results show that the phonological awareness integrated instruction significantly increased learners' vocabulary acquisition scores among 40 college students with minimal or basic level of English proficiency.

Recently, noise from personal cassette players (PCP) poses growing concerns together with occupational noise-induced hearing loss. Eighteen male and female volunteer subjects participated to determine preferred noise levels for PCP usage before, during, and after 2-hour subway riding according to sources (types) of PCP listening (language/news, soft music, and hard music). Audiometric tests were conducted before and after the 2-hour exposure of PCP noise under subway riding. Statistical analyses showed some significant hearing losses with the greatest loss of more than 6 dB at 4000 Hz for both ears, indicating that serious noise-induced hearing loss would potentially occurred due to prolonged use of PCPs. Practical safety countermeasures against PCP noise are further discussed.

This study aimed to investigate how EFL learners perceived English writing tasks and teachers' written feedback. The subjects were 82 mixed major college EFL students aged 19-24; the majority were freshmen females. Based on the scores estimated from the essay evaluation test, they were placed into two groups (proficienand less-proficient writers) and responded to an in-class questionnaire. The results indicated that: (1) regardless of writing proficiency, a large number of the students felt that they were just fair writers, which could be derived from low confidence and high anxiety; (2) grammar and vocabulary were perceived as the main features that determined good EFL writers and also prevented the students from performing the writing task successfully; (3) they believed that teachers' feedback contributed to the development of their English writing skills because it helped them apprehend what to improve or avoid in the future, acquire better English usage, and correct their errors; and (4) the proficient writers were more willing to correct errors themselves after being provided clues than the less-proficient writers. Implications of the findings for EFL classrooms are discussed.

Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the meanings of onomatopoeia and mimetic words contextually used contextually when children play together. Methods: The participants included 40 children (ages 3-5 years) attending "M Daycare Center" in Seoul and "S Daycare Center" in Seongnam (a city in Gyeonggi-do). Twenty rounds of play observations were conducted at the centers. Once per week from May to October 2015. Results: The onomatopoeia and mimetic words observed were primarily relate to physical movements, sounds, and shapes. These types relate to Max van Manen's life-world existentials, correlating with spatiality, corporeality, and relationality. The characteristics of onomatopoeic and mimetic words used were additive and were used by the children to refine and diversify their language skills and enrich their linguistic imaginations. Conclusion: Onomatopoeic and mimetic words help children design their own play situations based on their creativity and help them share the play with their peers.

A transputer is a powerful micro-processor, which can communicate with other processors with its own communication links and can be utilized into a powerful parallel computer system with easy way and low price. However, its usage has been limited to a few people because of its own programming language and complicated user interfaces. This paper presents programming tools to use a transputer system easily. It includes transputer integrated environment which has many developing tools, and transputer manager which can monitor and manage the system and developed programs on it. We also implemented a graphichs application program in order to test the feasibility and funcitonalities of programmers easy access to the transputer networks and visualize the performance status of each processor so that they can write efficient parallel programming codes.

This paper introduces a modulation method for digital wireless communication based on general DS-QPSK. The design and fabrication is for home networking application to a typical RF transmitter with DS-QPSK modulator. This modulator implemented using VHDL hardware programming language, the fabrication of IC chip $5{\times}5 mm^2$ was carried by 27th IDEC MPW(Multi Project Wafer) process in 0.35${\mu}m$ rule at Samsung Inc. This paper presented the important of this technology for the future application in wireless sensor. This module can be efficient usage for home network to transmit the RF wireless sensor system.

This study was carried out to analyze the working conditions and Job Satisfaction of foreigner agricultural trainees. Foreigner training program is governmental project to decrease the shortage of labor resources in farm household and increase of income for trainees, to transfer the agricultural technology to sending country. For this purpose, data were gathered from 110 foreigner agricultural trainees consisted of 91 Uzbekistanian and 19 Mongolian by interview with questionnaire. The results are as follows: 1) the trainee answered to increase the income and technical training regardless of nationality, age, wedding, and types of agriculture. 2) the trainee felt crucial difficulties in language usage and homesick during the training program, 3) Training program should be concretized in working schedule.

The purpose of this study was to determine a correlation between acoustic and perceptual parameters of the singing voice in singing students and compare them with the results with previous studies, and a more sensitive parameters in analyzing professional vocal usage. This study measured acoustic and perceptual parameters in 41 singing students. Digital audio recordings were made in sung vowels acoustic analysis. Each sample was judged by 1 experienced singing teacher and 1 voice pathologist on two semantic bipolar 7-point scales (ringing-dull, rich-thin). The results showed that SPP1 (p<0.01), SPP2 (p<0.01), and P1(p<0.01) had significant correlations with ringing and richness quality.
