지상부 사용(H3 등급) 목재의 국내 부후위험지수(Scheffer Index) 결정 (Determination of Decay Hazard Index (Scheffer Index) in Korea for Exterior Above-Ground Wood)

  • 본 연구는 지상부 사용조건에서 야외에 노출된 목재의 부후위험을 평가하기 위하여 수행되었다. 국내 72개 장소에서 10년 동안 축적된 기후자료를 활용하여 Scheffer 지수가 계산되었으며, 이에 근거하여 목재부후위험지도가 작성되었다. 제주, 서귀포, 광주, 전주 지역의 Scheffer 지수가 65 이상으로 부후위험이 높은 지역에 속하는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 지역을 제외한 나머지 지역은 Scheffer 지수가 35에서 65 사이의 값을 보여 부후위험이 중간 정도인 것으로 판명되었다. 그러나 기후조건에 따른 Scheffer 지수의 편차가 크기 때문에 부후위험이 중간정도로 판단된 지역이 기후변화에 따라 부후위험이 높은 지역으로 변할 수 있는 가능성이 높은 것으로 보인다. 특히 최근의 국내 기후가 아열대성으로 변화하는 경향을 고려할 때 국내 부후위험은 점차적으로 증가할 것으로 판단된다.

  • The problem of the population number of honeybees that is decreasing not only domestically but also globally, has a great influence on human beings and the entire ecosystem. The habitat of honeybees is recognized to be superior in urban environment rather than rural environment, and predicting for habitat assessment and conservation is necessary. Based on this, we targeted Cheonan City and neighboring administrative areas where the distribution of agricultural areas, urban areas, and forest areas is displayed equally. In order to predict the habitat preferred by honeybees, we apply the Maxent model what based on the presence information of the species. We also selected 10 environmental variables expected to influence honeybees habitat environment through literature survey. As a result of constructing the species distribution model using the Maxent model, 71.7% of the training data were shown on the AUC(Area Under Cover) basis, and it was be confirmed with an area of 20.73% in the whole target area, based on the 50% probability of presence of honeybees. It was confirmed that the contribution of the variable has influence on land covering, distance from the forest, altitude, aspect. Based on this, the possibility of honeybee's habitat characteristics were confirmed to be higher in wetland environment, in agricultural land, close to forest and lower elevation, southeast and west. The prediction of these habitat environments has significance as a lead research that presents the habitat of honeybees with high conservation value of ecosystems in terms of urban space, and it will be useful for future urban park planning and conservation area selection.

생물종 및 서식지 보전의 관점에서 본 대도시의 비오톱 구조분석 -대구광역시 수성구를 중심으로- (An Analysis of Biotope Structure in Terms of Species and Biotope Preservation in Metropolitan Area -In the case of Soosung District in Daegu-)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze of biotope structure focused on the evaluation for the species and biotope preservation in the case of Soosung District in Daegu metropolitan city. We analyzed the structure of urban biotope, and investigated the disposition of space and several characteristics through the material collection relating to the existing urban ecological material and the field investigation. The results of this study were as follows; 1) The result of biotope type classification was divided into 17 biotope type groups and 90 biotope types belonging to them. 2) The biotope type of mixed forest(QD) has the highest rate in occupation area, 1.764ha and the biotope type of cultivation areas by vinyle-hothouse(KC) has the lowest rate, 0.3ha. 3) In the result of the first evaluation for the species and biotope preservation, biotope types such as QB, QI, PA, PB, NB and NC etc. possess great value. Particulary, these biotope types come from forest areas and transition zone. They have not appeared in the inner of cities. 4) The biotope types such as CA, NA, NB, ND and PB are proved to possess high value in the result of rarity and riskiness evaluation. There appear EE, MA, NB, QC and QD in IV grade which is impossible to have them regenerative. They usually have appeared in forest areas. 5) There emerge 3a biotope type that has the highest value in the result of the second evaluation such as CC, EE, KF, LD, MB, NC, PB, QB and QI etc. Most of them were presented into the large area of site size and were distributed in the forest areas intensively. So, it is certain that the space for the species and biotope preservation connected with residential district is scarce. 6) The detailed biotope plan must be made out specially continuously. It is about biotope spaces that are especially important for the species and biotope preservation from the result of this research. Also, the study on the detailed index settlement of the urban landscape plan based on the biotope map must be continued.

절개사면 녹화지역과 인접 자연지역의 식생 비교 (Comparison of Vegetation between Cutting Slope Revegetation Area and Adjacent Nature Area in Korea)

  • This study was compared to the differences in the habitat, species composition and community structure of revegetation and nature area in Korea. Plant number in plot of revegetation and nature area was 10.3 and 15.0 taxa, respectively, and coverage was 90.6 and 88.1%, respectively. Revegetation and nature area was very heterogeneous, due to low similarity index (0.38) and less common plants. Festuca arundinacea frequency (56.7%) was highest in revegetation area, and Oplismenus undulatifolius frequency (66.7%) was highest in nature area. Plant appearing of revegetation and nature area was 111 and 136 taxa, respectively. Herb appearing of revegetation and nature areas was 93 (83.3%) and 72 (52.9%) taxa, respectively, tree was 18 (16.2%) and 64 (47.1%) taxa, respectively. Plant communities of revegetation area was classified into Lespedeza bicolor, Indigofera amblyantha, Alnus sibirica, Festuca arundinacea, Eragrostis curvula, Miscanthus sinensis, Humulus japonicus, Setaria faberii, Rudbeckia bicolor, Pueraria lobata community. Plant communities of nature area was classified into Pinus densiflora, Quercus aliena, Quercus acutissima, Quercus variabilis, Quercus serrata, Castanea crenata, Pinus rigida, Robinia pseudoacacia, Populus tomentiglandulosa, Phyllostachys bambusoides community. Habitat, species composition and community structure of revegetation and nature area showed a large difference.

옥상텃밭을 이용한 약초재배 시험 (Investigation on the Growth of Several Medicinal Plants in a Rooftop Vegetable Garden)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the growth responses of medicinal plants such as Glehnia littoralis, Cryptotaenia japonica, Angelica gigas, Reynoutria japonica, Saururus chinensis, Houttuynia cordata, Ligularia fischeri, and Aralia cordata under 70%-shading and full sunlight conditions on a rooftop condition using artificial soil as a growth media. Glehnia littoralis, Cryptotaenia japonica, Ligularia fischeri, Saururus chinensis, and Houttuynia cordata showed better growth on plant height, leaf length, leaf width, petiole length and leaf number under full sunlight conditions on a rooftop condition. Cryptotaenia japonica and Houttuynia cordata had high value of Hunter's a (red-green) under full sunlight, while had lower value of L(lightness) and b(blue-yellow) than those of 70% shading condition. As an index of plant stress response, Glehnia littoralis, Reynoutria japonica, Houttuynia cordata, Ligularia fischeri showed Fv/Fm values 0.79~0.84 under full sunlight in August, indicating low stress on plant growth. Therefore they seemed to be suitable medicinal plats for rooftop conditions. Ligularia fischeri and Reynoutria japonica showed better growth under 70% shading treatment in August, while showed high growth response under full sunlight conditions in September. The 70% shading treatment was effective for the growth of Angelica gigas, Reynoutria japonica, and Aralia cordata. Angelica gigas and Reynoutria japonica, however, showed better plant growth under full sunlight during summer. The results showed that Glehnia littoralis, Cryptotaenia japonica, Ligularia fischeri, Saururus chinensis, and Houttuynia cordat seemed to be suitable medicinal plants for rooftop garden where there is a full sunlight condition.

경주역사유적지구의 흡인력 평가지표 선정 연구 (A Study on the Attractions Evaluative Systems of Gyeongju Historic Heritage Sites)

  • 이 연구는 경주역사유적지구를 대상으로 역사도시경주의 경쟁력을 좌우하는 도시의 흡인력 요인들을 규명하기 위한 평가지표를 개발하고자 수행하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구와 UNESCO, ICOMOS 등이 정한 국제 기준을 검토하여 평가지표 후보군을 도출한 후 델파이 1차, 2차, 3차 전문가 조사를 실시하였으며, 조사 결과에 대한 중요도(M), 표준편차(SD), 내용타당도 지수(CVR), 합의도, 수렴도 등의 분석을 통하여 최종적으로 문화유산의 매력성, 문화유산의 관광자원화, 문화유산관광의 억제력 등 3가지 평가 영역으로 총 42개의 평가지표를 선정하였다. 이들 지표는 역사도시의 흡인력을 제고하기 위한 유용한 기초자료가 될 것으로 판단된다. 앞으로 경주의 흡인력은 이러한 지표를 바탕으로 평가를 수행하여 평가 결과를 검토하며 경주에 대한 흡인력 특성을 재인식할 수 있을 것이다.

열수지를 활용한 서울시 열환경 개선을 위한 공간 유형화 (Spatial Typification based on Heat Balance for Improving Thermal Environment in Seoul)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the spatial types for thermal environment improvement considering heat flux and its spatial context through empirical orthodox formulas. First, k-means clustering was used to classify values of three kinds of heat flux - latent, sensible and storage heat. Next, from the k-means clustering, we defined a type of thermal environment (type LHL) where improvement is needed for more comfortable and pleasant thermal environment in the city, among the eight types. Lastly, we compared and analyzed the characteristics of each classified thermal environmental types based on land cover types. From the study, we found that the ratio of impervious surfaces, roads, and buildings of the type LHL is higher than those of the type HLH (relatively thermal comfort environment). In order to improve the thermal environment, the following contents are proposed to urban planners and designers depending on the results of the study. a) Increase the green zone rate by 10% to reduce sensible heat; b) Reduce the percentage of impermeable surfaces and roads by 10% ; c) Latent heat increases when water and green spaces are expanded. This study will help to establish a minimum criterion for a land cover rate for the improvement of the urban thermal environment and a standard index for the thermal environmental improvement can be derived.

용문사 계곡 소나무림의 식물군집구조 및 22년간(1988~2010년) 변화 분석 (Plant Community Structure and Change of Pinus densiflora S. et Z. Forest for Twenty-two Years (1988~2010) in Yongmun-sa (Temple) Valley, Yangpyeong-gun, South Korea)

  • 본 연구는 용문사 계곡의 소나무림을 대상으로 식물군집구조를 규명하고 22년간의 식생구조 변화를 비교 분석하여 천이경향 예측과 효율적인 소나무림의 보전관리방안 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행하였다. 현존식생 분석결과 능선과 사면에 소나무군락(51.3%)이 넓게 분포하였고, 계곡부에 졸참나무-굴참나무군락(15.5%), 졸참나무군락(7.1%), 용문사 동측 사면에 졸참나무-소나무군락(7.2%)이 분포하였다. 19개 조사구(단위면적: $400m^2$)를 설정하여 TWINSPAN에 의한 classification 분석을 실시한 결과, 아교목층에서 졸참나무와 당단풍나무가 우점하는 소나무-졸참나무군집(I), 아교목층에서 서어나무와 까치박달이 우점하는 소나무군집(II), 아교목층에서 졸참나무와 서어나무가 우점하고 있는 소나무-졸참나무군집(III), 아교목층에서 서어나무와 당단풍나무가 우점하고 있는 소나무군집(IV)의 4개 유형으로 분류되었다. Shannon의 종다양도지수(H')는 0.5110~1.3101, 소나무 수령 48~89년생, 졸참나무 31~63년생, 서어나무 26~61년생이었다. 22년간 변화를 분석한 결과 소나무는 세력 유지 또는 약화되었고, 경쟁관계에 있는 졸참나무, 서어나무, 까치박달의 세력이 증가하였다. 용문사 계곡 소나무림의 천이 경향은 소나무림${\rightarrow}$졸참나무${\rightarrow}$까치박달, 서어나무로 예측되었으며, 지속적인 소나무림 유지관리를 통한 소나무 보존이 필요하였다.

위성영상 분석에 의한 만포-강계 지역 경지확대에 따른 산림경관 변화 (Landscape Fragmenation of Forest of the Cropland Increase Using Landsat Images of Manpo and Gangae, Jagang Cities, Northwest Korea)

  • 본 연구는 1993년과 2002년의 위성영상의 비교분석을 통해 북한 만포 강계 지역의 9년간의 경지확대에 따른 산림경관 변화를 정량적으로 분석한 것이다. 연구 대상지역에서의 농경지는 9년 동안 49.9% 증가하였고, 산림지는 16% 감소하였다. 농경지 개간의 공간적 분포 특성을 보면, 경작지의 평균고도는 1993년의 381m에서 412m로, 경사도는 $10^{\circ}$에서 $13^{\circ}$로 상승하였다. 9년 동안 확대 개간지 자체만을 보면 평균고도 455m, 경사도 $15^{\circ}$ 이르며, 최대 경사도는 $70^{\circ}$에 육박하였다. 파편화에 따른 패치 경향을 보면, 1993년에서 2002년 동안 패치수 394에서 1,241개로 증가하였으며, 패치의 증가와 함께 패치의 형태지수와 프랙탈 차원도 약간 증가하였다. 경작지 개간 고도는 $450{\sim}750$에서 가장 많이 진행되었다. 북한 농업 생산성은 정치 및 사회구조의 개건, 농업 발전을 위한 외부지원, 산지삼림의 복원이 동시에 이루어져야 개선될 것으로 보인다.

훼손지 유형에 따른 생태복원 평가방법 개발 (Evaluation Method Development for Ecological Restorations by Damaged Types)

  • It was required to evaluate ecological restorations in a comprehensive way in order to systematically manage conservation areas such as DMZ and national parks in South Korea. In this research we developed a new approach to evaluating ecological restorations with more various indexes than vegetation covering-related indexes. By analyzing damaged areas in the vicinity of DMZ, major damaged types were identified as six classes: landform modification, surface loss, soil pollution, soil physio-chemical modification, vegetation decline and vegetation damaged. From literature review, 39 indexes were selected and were grouped into four divisions: soil property, vegetation growth & structure, habitat property and landscape structure & functions. By conducting a survey with the selected indexes targeting relevant experts, data on relative importance among the divisions and indexes by damaged type were collected. As a result, it was found that the orders and values of weighted values of the divisions were different by damaged type: for example, soil property (0.402), vegetation growth & structure (0.209), habitat property (0.225), landscape structure & function (0.163) for "landform modification"; but soil property (0.171), vegetation growth & structure (0.401), habitat property (0.270), landscape structure & function (0.158) for "vegetation decline". Similarly, evaluation indexes showed different orders and values of relative importance, easiness in field measurement and representativeness for the division by damaged type, and the values were used for calculating importance factor for each index. In the evaluation table, score1 and score2 were made by the importance factors of indexes multiplied by distribution values which present grades and by the weighted values of divisions. In conclusion, while dealing with the damaged type was considered significant for evaluating and managing restorations, further tests on this table with a range of cases were needed to improve its quality.
