2000s Korean cinema was influenced by capital, so it chose the way of Allegory instead of talking directly about sensitive issues. A representative movie director is Park Chan Wook who directed The Vengeance Trilogy. , The final part of Park Chan Wook's The Vengeance Trilogy, reflected Baroque Aesthetics. I analyzed focusing on Walter Benjamin's Allegory notion in this paper. Walter Benjamin said Allegory is different from a symbol which is represented by totality. Allegory means to reconstruct the fragment instinctively and to expose something repressed. The German Tragic Drama during the baroque period reflects this well. It is my argument that Park Chan Wook incorporated these underlying themes from German Tragic Drama into . He deconstructed the liberation and the birth myth of a nation, and he restored the socialist and anarchist who were completely excluded from history.

Objectives: This video has been produced to provide better awareness for our patients about radiotherapy treatment for anxiety and stress. This video will give inexperienced patients a better understanding of the processes and expectations of the radiotherapy. We have produced a radiotherapy guidance video regarding work flow and a method of radiotherapy to relieve anxiety and stress. It also improves patients satisfaction and understanding of radiotherapy to provide a high-quality health care for radiotherapy patients with indirect experience. Methods: We have evaluated the effectiveness of the video compared to our existing verbal method. See below for the evaluation criteria; 1) Patients satisfaction rate of guidance 2) a comparison of understanding of radiotherapy 3) a comparison of a time of education for patients 4) a researching of an incidence rate of radiotherapy. Results: When compared to the verbal explanation the patients had a increased level of understanding of the radiotherapy treatment. The time to educate patient was decreased and the level of incidents during the treatment was decreased due to the patient having a better understanding of the whole process. Conclusion : In conclusion, the audiovisual education increased the understanding of radiotherapy for patients compared to verbal education. The video also helped patients to cooperate in treatment room so we can provide premium radiotherapy treatment. By reducing the treatment time and education processa we improved the patients overall experience.

Due to improved wireless communication technologies, it is possible to provide multimedia streaming service for mobile device clients like PDAs and cellphones. Wireless networks are serviced on low bandwidth channels and mobile devices work on limited hardware specifications. In these conditions, transcoding technologies are needed to adapt the media for streaming services to given mobile environments. To transcode from the source media to the target media for corresponding grades, transcoding servers perform transcoding jobs as exhausting their resources. Since various transcoding loads occur according to the target transconding grades, an effective transcoding load balancing policy is required among transcoding servers. In addition to transcoding process, servers should maintain QoS streams for mobile clients for total serviced times. It requires real-time requirements to support QoS for various mobile clients. In this paper, a new transcoding load distribution method is proposed. The proposed method can be driven for fair load balance between distributed transcoding servers. Based on estimated transcoding time, movie information and target transcoding bit-rate, it provides fair transcoding load distribution and also performs admission control to support QoS streams for mobile clients.

Owing to the improved wireless communication technologies, it is possible to provide streaming service of multimedia with PDAs and mobile phones in addition to desktop PCs. Since mobile client devices have low computing power and low network bandwidth due to wireless network, the transcoding technology to adapt media for mobile client devices considering their characteristics is necessary. Transcoding servers transcode the source media to the target media within corresponding grades and provide QoS in real-time. In particular, an effective load balancing policy for transcoding servers is inevitable to support QoS for large scale mobile users. In this paper, the transcoding load estimation algorithm is proposed for load balance on the distributed transcoding environments. The proposed algorithm estimates transcoding time from transcoding server information, movie information and target transcoding bit-rate. The estimated transcoding time is proved based on experiments.

Next-Generation ITS environment requires high-speed data packet transmission, security, authentication, and hand-over supportable for driving vehicle on road by installing RSEs and OBUs. Therefore, wireless communication technology for next-generation ITS services are advancing to 200km/h maximum speed supportable, 1km communication radius, minimum 10Mbps hish-speed datarate for multimedia data(such as text, images, movie clips and so on) supportable, high reliability. In this paper, we implemented WAVE communication system which based on IEEE 802.11p PHY/MAC and evaluated that the system meets next-generation ITS environments.

Korean film actors and staff participated in Incheon(Terence Young, 1981) Hollywood filmmaking workforces had taken in South Korea. According to the dictation of the elders who participated in the making of the film Incheon, through the movie they were able to experience Hollywood film production system and said it had an impact on Korea filmmaking system. It is the reason that this study tracks the historical traces of the almost forgotten film. This article analyzed an expert assessment and recognition of the audience about the film Incheon produced by the Hollywood production system. Expert review was utilized in such press articles and tomes about the actors and staff who participated in the film. Also, the audience rating was analyzed in terms of the recognition at the theater or watching cable TV, Internet etc. Evaluation of expert in Incheon was monotonous but negatively red, I could confirm that the viewers recognized in various ways, rather than evaluated the film.

An augmented book is an application that augments such multimedia elements as virtual 3D objects generated by computer graphics, movie clips, or sound clips to a real book using AR technologies. It is intended to bring additional education and entertainment effects to users. For augmented books, this paper proposes an adaptive keyframe-based page tracking method to estimate the camera's 6 DOF pose in real-time after recognizing a page and performing wide-baseline keypoint matching. For a page tracking, proposed method in this paper chooses a proper keyframe and performs a tracking in two step of coarse-to-fine stage. As a result, the proposed method in this paper guarantees a robust tracking to view-point and illumination variations and real-time.

Recently XML (eXtensible Markup Language) is becoming the standard for exchanging the documents on the web. And as the amount of information is increasing because of the development of the technique in the Internet, semantic web is becoming to appear for more exact result of information retrieval than the existing one on the web. Ontology which is the basis of the semantic web provides the basic knowledge system to express a particular knowledge. So it can show the exact result of the information retrieval. Ontology defines the particular concepts and the relationships between the concepts about specific domain and it has the hierarchy similar to the taxonomy. In this paper, we propose the generation of semi-automatic ontology based on XML documents that are interesting to many researchers as the means of knowledge expression. To construct the ontology in a particular domain, we suggest the algorithm to determine the domain. So we determined that the domain of ontology is to extract the information of movie on the web. And we used the generalized association rules, one of data mining methods, to generate the ontology, using the tag and contents of XML documents. And XTM (XML Topic Maps), ISO Standard, is used to construct the ontology as an ontology language. The advantage of this method is that because we construct the ontology based on the terms frequently used documents related in the domain, it is useful to query and retrieve the related domain.

Recently, requriements that people want to receive various information related with fashion are increasing. A lot of internet shopping malls and corporations provide information about fashion. However, those systems do not give enough information about fashion. To solve these problems, the paper provides the recommend technique for providing complex fashion information on mobile devices. The providing system implements fasion ontology by using XML. The XML ontology has dewey number as an attribute. The recommend technique uses this number and find LCA(Lowest Common Ancestor) on the fashion ontology. Then those child nodes under the LCA are recommended as related information. The results are displayed on the mobile browser. The system provides function for taking a picture or movie of fashion contents. Those movies and pictures are UCC(User Created Content)s. The system is a novel system that can recommend complex fasion information on mobile devices.
