This study was conducted to investigate the vascular flora of two outstanding forest wetlands(OFW) in Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do, and to prepare an efficient management plan for forest wetlands through comparison with previous studies. Fieldwork was conducted seasonally from May to October 2023, The flora in the two OFW located in Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do, consisted of 117 taxa such as 55 families, 92 genera, 108 species, 7 variants, 1 variety and 1 hybrid. The endemic plants were 4 taxa and rare plants were 7 taxa. Floristic target plants were V class 2 taxa, IV class 6 taxa, III class 8 taxa, II class 4 taxa and Iclass 21 taxa. Climate change adaptation plants were 10 taxa and naturalized plants was 1 taxa. Obligate wetland plants were 16 taxa, Facultative wetland plants 10 taxa and Facultative plant 4 taxa. OFW functioning a typical wetland ecosystem in Goheung-gun had been providing habitats for a variety of rare plants, such as the Habenaria radiata and Drosera rotundifolia. But those ecosystems would be suffering a critical disturbance such as human interference, the invasion of naturalized plants, and change of wetland function through landization for a short future. Therefore we suggest those OFWs should be designated as a Forest Genetic Resource Reserve in order to keep the ecosystems permanently and to manage them more soundly and efficiently.
The vascular plants at the nature every second year in Wolchulsan National Park was listed 325 taxa: 86 families, 205 genera, 283 species, 1 subspecies, 36 varieties and 5 forms. Based on the list of the rare plants by the Forest Research Institute, 3 taxa were recorded in the studied areas; Lilium callosum (Preservation priority order; No. 191), Viola albida (No. 202), Wikstroemia trichotoma (No. 120) and based on the list of Korean endemic plants, 8 taxa were recorded; Carex okamotoi, Lilium amabile, Carpinus coreana, Clematis trichotoma, Stewartia koreana, Ajuga spectabilis, Weigela subsessilis, Adenophora triphylla var. hirsute. Specific plants by floral region were total 44 taxa; Prunus davidiana, Wistaria floribunda in class IV, 9 taxa (Neolitsea aciculata, Vaccinium bracteatum, Utricularia racemosa, etc.) in class III, 5 taxa (Bupleurum longiradiatum, Ostericum melanotilingia, Cirsium schantarense) in class II, 28 taxa (Polygonatum falcatum, Eurya japonica, Ajuga spectabilis, etc.) in class I. The naturalized plants in this site were 4 families, 6 genera, 9 taxa and naturalization rate was 2.8% of all 325 taxa vascular plants.

Vascular plants of this area consist of total 450 taxa; 5 forma, 53 varieties, 392 species, 279 genera, 95 families. It corresponds to 11.1% of totally 4,071 taxa appeared in Korea. Useful plants of this area were investigated 373 taxa. It corresponds to 82.7% of collected plants in this area under our study. Among the useful plants, there are 191 taxa of edible source, 181 taxa of pasture source, 153 taxa of medicinal source, 54 taxa of ornamental source, 18 taxa of timber. Korean endemic plants were composed 10 families, 13 genera, 9 species, 4 varieties and totaling 13 taxa.
This study was carried out objectively to analyze the distributing flora for the conservation of natural environment and to construct the database in Mt. Joryeong, Chungcheongbuk-do, Korea. The period of survey was from November, 2004 to September, 2005, and the routes were A (Recreation $forest{\sim}Shinseon-bong$), B $(Shinseon-bong{\sim}Mapae-bong)$, C(Joryeong 3rd $gateway{\sim}Mapae-bong$), and D $(Yongseong-gol{\sim}Gitdae-bong)$. The vascular plants were summarized as 341 taxa; 85 families, 219 genera, 299 species, 36 varieties, and 6 forma. The rare and endangered plants designated by Korea Forest Service were 3 taxa; Paeonia japonica, Viola albida, and Rhododendron micranthum. The Korean endemic plants were 9 taxa; Cephalotaxus harringtonia, Salix caprea, Deutzia coreana, Spiraea prunifolia for. simpliciflora, $Lespedeza{\times}tomentella$, Vaccinium koreanum, Salvia chanroenica, Weigela subsessilis, and Cirsium setidens. And in the results of survey on resource plants, we confirmed 171 taxa of ornamental plants (50.1%), 222 taxa of edible plants (65.1%), 237 taxa of medicinal plants (69.5%) and 146 taxa of other useful plants (42.8%).
The vascular plants of the studied area in the Mt. Seokbul appeared to be 342 taxa; 96 families, 249 genera, 293 species, 2 subspecies, 43 varieties and 3 forms and 1 cultivar. Based on the list of the rare plants by the Forest Research Institute, 2 taxa existed in the studied areas; Lloydia triflora(Preservation priority order; No. 169), Aristolochia contorta(No. 151) and based on the list of Korean endemic plants, 7 taxa existed; Cephalotaxus koreana, Carex okamotoi, Populus tomentiglandulosa(Planted species), Indigofera koreana, Weigela subsessilis. Rhododendron yedoense var. poukhanense, Forsythia koreana (Planted species). Specific plant species by floral region were total 18 taxa; Wistaria floribunda(Planted species) in class IV, Lloydia triflora, Acer palmatum in class III, 15 taxa (Cephalotaxus koreana, Quercus variabilis, Ulmus parvifolia, Aristolochia contorta, Pyrus ussuriensis, etc.) in class I. The naturalized plants in this site were 11 families, 26 genera, 32 species, 2 varieties, 34 taxa, and naturalization rate was 9.9% of all 342 taxa vascular plants. The plant communities in the Mt. Seokbul were classified as; Pinus densiflora community(No. 1, 3, 4) and Pinus thunbergii community(No.2).

A total of 37 Korean endemic plants were investigated for example Abies koreana E.H.Wilson and Impatiens atrosanguinea (Nakai) B.U.Oh & Y.P.Hong. A total of 162 taxa of floristic regional indicators (3rd to 5th degree) were investigated including 9 taxa of V, 15 taxa of IV, 38 taxa of III, 45 taxa of II, and 53 taxa of I. Naturalized plants were recorded a total of 46 taxa with a Naturalization Index of 6.0%, the Urbanization Index was calculated to be 14.3% and 5 taxa of ecosystem disturbance plants were investigated such as Sicyos angulatus L., Rumex acetosella L., and Humulus scandens (Lour.) Merr. As the result of comparison with previous studies, in this study a total of 206 taxa were newly identified including 62 families, 144 genera, 184 species, 2 subspecies, 15 varieties, and 5 forms.
Erysiphe chloranthi is the only powdery mildew species (Erysiphaceae) found on Chloranthus plants belonging to the family Chloranthaceae. This species has long been known to be present in Japan and Korea and is hence regarded as endemic to East Asia. Examination of seven Korean specimens revealed detailed morphological characteristics of the holomorph of this species. Short foot-cells of conidiophores are proposed as key characteristics that differ from related species. Sequences of the internal transcribed spacer regions and large subunit gene retrieved from four Korean samples confirm the phylogenetic position of this species within the Erysiphe aquilegiae complex. These data may help elucidate the identity of this species and clarify the ambiguity of the E. aquilegiae complex.
