IS 조직과 라인 조직간의 의사소통 및 공유지식이 IS 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Evaluation on The Effect of Communication and Shared Knowledge Between IS and Line Organizations to IS Performance)

  • Intensified competition, splintered mass market, shortened product life cycles, and advanced technology and automation let companies to crease the IT investment to meet the changes, Although IT investment increased, IS didn't show the visible outcome. One of the major interest of IS managers is how to demonstrate the business value of the firm's investment in information technology. This paper proposes the revised model of Nelson & Cooprider(1990) regarding shared knowledge between IS and line groups. Knowledge can be shared through mutual trust, mutual influence and communication between these two groups. The revised model including communication is tested empirically using LISREL. The results show that shared knowledge mediated the relationship between IS performance and mutual trust, mutual influence and communication. And shared knowledge between IS and line groups increase IS performance. IS managers should develop mutual trust, mutual influence and communication between these groups to achieve more shared knowledge and higher IS performance.

Interlinking Open Government Data in Korea using Administrative District Knowledge Graph

  • Interest in open data is continuing to grow around the world. In particular, open government data are considered an important element in securing government transparency and creating new industrial values. The South Korean government has enacted legislation on opening public data and provided diversified policy and technical support. However, there are also limitations to effectively utilizing open data in various areas. This paper introduces an administrative district knowledge model to improve the sharing and utilization of open government data, where the data are semantically linked to generate a knowledge graph that connects various data based on administrative districts. The administrative district knowledge model semantically models the legal definition of administrative districts in South Korea, and the administrative district knowledge graph is linked to data that can serve as an administrative basis, such as addresses and postal codes, for potential use in hospitals, schools, and traffic control.

  • 1990년 중반부터 지식(Knowledge)은 국가 및 기업 경쟁력의 원천으로 부상하고 있으며, 건설기업의 공정관리는 건설기업의 핵심 역량 중의 하나이다. 그러나 국내 건설기업은 공정관리에 대한 지식을 체계적으로 저장, 활용하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 국내 건설기업의 공정관리 지식기반화에 대한 수준은 공정관리 지식기반 인프라 구축 단계에 머물러 있으며, 상위 건설기업 조차도 공정관리 지식 활동 단계의 초기 수준에 머물러 있다. 이는 공정관리 지식의 중요성에 대한 인식 부재, 관련 절차의 부재가 원인이라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 건설기업의 공정관리 지식기반화의 문제점을 분석한 후, 건설기업 차원에서 현행 공정관리 표준 절차서의 내용에 공정관리 지식기반 인프라 요소와 공정관리 지식 활동 요소를 보안할 수 있는 공정관리 지식기반화를 위한 공정관리 절차서 모델을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과물인 공정관리 지식기반화를 위한 절차서 모델을 통해, 국내 건설기업이 공정관리 지식 활동의 절차를 마련할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고, 추후 국내 건설기업의 건설통합시스템 및 KMS(Knowledge Management System)과의 연계를 위한 공정관리 지식 기반의 구축의 틀을 마련하고자 한다.

Development of TPACK-P Education Program for Improving Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge of Pre-service Teachers

  • As the importance of technology increases, so too does its use in various areas. In education, technology is often used. However, due to teachers' lack of knowledge about technology, they often remain at the level of simple utilization, without applying it to learning. Thus, there is a growing need for Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), which enables teachers to have knowledge about technology and use it appropriately given the content. Although TPACK studies are underway in many subjects, they suffer from the limited functionality of the included technology. To solve this problem, in this study, the range of technology in TPACK was extended to programming, and a TPACK-P model was developed to teach this expanded TPACK to pre-service teachers. To verify the effectiveness of this model, the TPACK-P training program developed during the 15th classes was applied to 19 pre-service teachers. We used Park and Kang (2014) as a tool to measure these teachers' TPACK before and after treatment to observe any changes. The results showed that the TPACK-P education program showed statistically significant improvement in all areas except Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK). Compared with the ICT-based TPACK training program, which was administered to a control group, the TPACK-P training program proved to be more effective in the development of Technological Pedagogical Knowledge(TPK) and TPACK among pre-service teachers.

Effect of the ADDIE Model-based Distance Infection Control Education Program on Infection Control Performance of Care Workers

  • This study examined the effect of the distance Infection Control Education Program (ICEP), developed based on the ADDIE model, on infection control knowledge, attitude, and performance among care workers in long-term care facilities nationwide. The program, developed based on the ADDIE model, was applied to 173 care workers directly responsible for nursing care of elderly residents in lomg-term care facilities. The distance ICEP for care workers was conducted through the website and lasted 30 minutes for each of the eight topics. To determine the effectiveness of the education, infection control knowledge, attitude, performance, and satisfaction were surveyed before and four weeks after the program. Differences in infection control knowledge, attitude, and performance before and after the distance ICEP were assessed by a t-test. A significant difference was observed in knowledge and infection control performance after the distance ICEP was administered to care workers. In the sub-domains of infection control performance, overall understanding of infection, regular infection control education, infection control by special pathogen (multidrug-resistant bacteria, tuberculosis, tick-borne infectious diseases), and detailed infection control education by infection site (pressure ulcers and urinary tract infections) were significantly improved. Infection control knowledge and performance improved through the distance ICEP applied to care workers. Satisfaction also displayed high scores on most items and indicated that it was helpful for infection control in facilities, confirming the effectiveness of infection control education. Based on the survey of care workers nationwide, the infection education program can be effectively used for care workers in the future.

Help-Desk 지식관리시스템 모형구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Construction of Help-Desk Knowledge Management System Model in the Web Environment)

  • 지식사회에서 주요자원은 지식이 되며 이러한 지식을 관리하는 도서관의 역할이 매우 중요하다. 기하급수적으로 증가하는 지식정보들 중 조직구성원들이 필요하고 유용한 지식만을 선택하여 이용자의 취향에 맞는 형태로 제공할 수 있는 지식정보관리가 필요하다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 기존의 도서관 정보봉사에서 나타나는 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 도서관이 수행해야 할 역할 및 기능들을 Help-Desk 서비스 측면에서 온라인과 오프라인으로 구성요인들을 조사하고 분석하였다. 이 결과를 토대로 웹기반 Help-Desk 지식관리 시스템 모형을 제시하였다.

IT아웃소싱 환경에서 도메인이해도가 성과에 미치는 영향: 조직학습, 지식이전 및 아웃소싱비율의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The effect of domain understanding on IT outsourcing performance based on a learning model of IT outsourcing)

  • Owing to the current economic downturn, one of the most important goals of the organizations who are actively involved in Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) is the cost efficiency. We focus on supplier firm's domain understanding to make the cost efficiency; therefore, we examine how the disadvantages from lower domain knowledges affect outsourcing performance moderated by outsourcing ratio and knowledge change environments. That is, if clients can endure disadvantage from service providers' lower domain knowledge, they can achieve cost efficiency by choosing lower domain knowledge suppliers with less expensive cost. To examine performance gap depending on the environments, we applied 'A Learning Model of IT Outsourcing' which is suggested by previous literature. As a result, we suggest five strategies for clients to contract with suppliers which have lower domain knowledge: (1) Prepare the strategy to endure disadvantages from the early stage. (2) Make the strategy depending on outsourcing ratio. (3) Knowledge transfer between organizations is important. (4) Make a short-term contract if they do not have good environments for organizational learning. (5) Client's knowledge change environments are more important than those of supplier's. Finally, we offer various implications for clients and suppliers in IT outsourcing.

온라인 채용시험정보 커뮤니티 내에서 지식공유의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (Study on factors affecting the intention of knowledge sharing in the electronic network of practice for job examination)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate why people voluntarily contribute knowledge to others, primarily strangers, in the electronic network of practice for job examination expected potential competing. This paper is organized as follows. First, we introduce the electronic network of practice which is the knowledge sharing community for job examination, and discuss the key issues for understanding knowledge sharing in these networks on the basis of individual motivations, relational capital, sense of community, and sense of rivalry to develop a research model for this study. To test the proposed research model, we adopted the survey method for data collection, and examined our hypotheses by applying the multiple regression analysis method to the collected data. Our unit of analysis was the individual. The findings of this study show that the intention of knowledge sharing is influenced by the reputation and the enjoy helping as the factors of individual motivations, by the reciprocity as the factor of relational capital, and by a sense of rivalry as a psychological factor. Lastly, contributions of this study and future research opportunities are also discussed.

  • Utilizing construction knowledge and experiences in design phase can reduce change orders and improve productivity in construction phase. To do so, information must be made available to the design team in time. Current approaches for effective utilization of constructability knowledge, however, only focus on the formalization of constructability knowledge such as a checklist, which lacks the consideration of the appropriate use at the proper point in time. The inadequate use of constructability knowledge can result in unnecessary reworks. To deal with this problem, the design team needs to know what constructability knowledge is required for specific design activities in the design process. This paper presents a constructability implementation model using the dependency structure matrix (DSM) that focuses on information flows between design activities and constructability knowledge. For this objective, design activities in the design process are modeled in a matrix form based on their dependency. Then, constructability knowledge, which needs to be considered in the design stage, is mapped into activities and incorporated into the matrix, creating Constructability-DSM (C-DSM). Next, the partitioning algorithm is applied to C-DSM for optimal information flow. The Partitioned C-DSM is then analyzed based on the relationship between activities. Finally, the optimal utilization of construction knowledge in the design process is determined by identifying what constructability knowledge is required for each design activity, and how and when it is reflected to design for constructability. Thus, this research can help provide robust control actions to reduce unnecessary iterative cycles in design process for efficient constructability implementation.
