This study was conducted to select promising green manure crops, providing sufficient amount of nutrients for satisfying fruit tree growth, with the overwintering cover crops grown in organic orchards in 2009. The cover covers were investigated in 13 organic orchards in Chonnam province in April and June. The dry matter in cover crops observed in April and June was the highest for Lolium multiflorum Lam. and Bromus japonicus Thunb., respectively. Total N and K production in April was the highest for Lolium multiflorum Lam, Vicia hirsuta (L.) S. F. Gray and Vicia angustifolia var. segetilis (Thuill.) K. Koch., respectively, with Bromus japonicus Thunb. in June. This study showed that the leguminous crops, Vicia hirsuta (L.) and Vicia angustifolia, would be the prospective cover covers as the both crops provided sufficient amount of N and $K_2O$ into the soil. Amount of $P_2O_5$ producing from all cover crops provided less than nutrient levels than those of recommended nutrient requirement for satisfying 10- to 15-year-old fruit tree growth.

Safety of packaging foods has increasingly been a significant global issue in recent years. This paper aims to present the broad information and perspectives on food packaging safety in Thailand. This paper compiles the use of different packaging materials, their safety characteristics, and the regulations in Thailand in accordance with the world regulations. In addition, it covers the opinion of various parties related to food packaging in Thailand. Some scientific based results coupled with the interviewing and questionnaire data from the previous and ongoing researches are discussed here. This paper summarizes the food packaging safety in Thailand today and proposed the trends tomorrow along with the future world requirements.

The purpose of this paper is to provide a review of the literature on the role of end-user intermediary systems in information retrieval. The paper starts with an introduction pointing out the problems involved in conventional retrieval system. The next section covers the major developments in the field of intermediary systems including natural language processing, automatic query formulation, relevance feedback, and automatic query refinement. The paper concludes with a general overview of the current state of the art and its future implications in information retrieval.

In this paper, we consider a diffusive delayed predator-prey model with Beddington-DeAngelis type functional response under homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions, where the discrete time delay covers the period from the birth of immature preys to their maturity. We investigate the global existence of nonnegative solutions and the long-term behavior of the time-dependent solution of the model.

Observing that for any $\beta_c$-Wallman functor $A$ and any Tychonoff space X, there is a cover $(C_1(A(X), X), c_1)$ of X such that X is $A$-disconnected if and only if $c_1 : C_1(A(X), X) \longrightarrow X$ is a homeomorphism, we show that every Tychonoff space has the minimal $A$-disconnected cover. We also show that if X is weakly Lindelof or locally compact zero-dimensional space, then the minimal G-disconnected (equivalently, cloz)-cover is given by the space $C_1(A(X), X)$ which is a dense subspace of $E_cc(\betaX)$.

Space truss structures may be fabricated in any of several common grid configurations. With different configurations, the truss performance varies considerably affecting both its competitiveness and suitability for specific applications. The work presented in this paper is an assessment of the most commonly adopted truss configurations and their effect on truss characteristics such as the stiffness/weight value, member stress distribution, number of joints and members, degree of redundancy and cost. The study is parametric and covers wide variations of truss aspect ratios, boundary conditions and span/depth ratios. The results of this study could be of significant value to the design of space truss structures.

Asthma is the most common chronic illness to affect children and is a major cause of morbidity in adults, affecting 4~17% of children and 7.3~10.1% of adults, which translates to approximately 300 million people globally. This article reviews recently published data over the past 1~2 years on asthma, and covers the 3 aspects of current advancement for the diagnosis of severe asthma, including the controversy to long-acting bronchodilator treatment for treatment of asthma, and the role of long-acting anticholinergics treatment in asthma patients.

A high bandwidth watt-converter, based on an inexpensive, commercially available, standard IC package, is described that covers a frequency ranges from DC to 100 kHz. The new resistive shunt for a wide-band frequency current measurement of the watt-converter was developed. The converter will use application in accurate power measurement under distorted and high frequency conditions. The advantages of the watt-converter are its simplicity, low cost and fast response time.
