  • The purpose of this study is to explore the impacts of personality variables, family variables, job variables, work-family conflict and job satisfaction on life satisfaction of family business workers. The major findings are as follows: 1. There was direct causal effects of job satisfaction, Sunday working level, the duration of the family business, an academic background on life satisfaction of family business workers. 2. Such variables family variables(family size, number of family workers, number of unpaid family workers), working time variables (working hours per a day, saturday working level, flexibility of working time), work-family conflict had indirect causal effects on life satisfaction of family business workers

사회초년생의 직무소진에 영향을 미치는 요인 탐구 (The Exploration of the Factors Affecting Burnout among Young Working Adults)

  • 본 연구는 사회초년생들을 대상으로 직무소진에 미치는 긍정적인 요인과 부정적인 요인을 탐구하기 위해 수행되었다. 긍정적인 요인으로는 사회적 지원 및 공감을 선정하였고, 부정적인 요인으로는 직무권태와 직무 스트레스를 선별하였다. 이러한 요인들은 여러 연구에서 직무소진에 영향을 미치는 주요 원인으로 다루어졌다. 연구방법으로는 위계적 회귀분석을 이용하여 변수 간 영향력을 더욱 세밀하게 파악해 보았다. 연구결과 부정적 요인들(직무 스트레스, 직무권태)이 긍정적 요인들(공감, 사회적 지원)보다 직무소진에 더 많은 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이에 사회초년생들에게 관심과 배려가 절실히 필요하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

간호사의 직무만족 결정 요인 -노동보상을 중심으로- (The Determinants of Job Satisfaction of Nurses: Focused on Work Rewards)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the determinants of job satisfaction of hospital nurses. The focus was on work rewards. A causal model of job satisfaction of hospital nurses was constructed based on situational perspectives. Methods: The sample for this study consisted of 505 nurses from 2 general hospitals located in Seoul and Kyeonggi Province, Korea. Data were collected with self-administrated questionnaires and analyzed by hierarchical multiple regression. Results: All variables except workload were positively correlated with job satisfaction. It was found that three task reward variables(workload, meaning, and participation), two organizational reward variables(security and promotional chances) and one social reward variable(family support) had significant influence on nurses' job satisfaction. The explained variance for job satisfaction was 41.4%. The data further indicate that task rewards were the most significant determinants of nurse job satisfaction. Conclusion: Theses findings provide strong empirical evidence for importance of task, organizational and social reward variables in explaining job satisfaction of nurses. The model used for this study will be useful for predicting nurse job satisfaction.

중소병원의 교육훈련 프로그램 특성 및 조직상황적 특성이 직무전이에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the influence of job transfer in E&T programs characteristics & organizational situational characteristics of the medium and small-sized hospitals)

  • The purpose of this study was 1) to understand the job transfer in education & training(E&T) programs & organizational situational characteristics, and 2) to analyze the effects of the E&T programs & organizational situational characteristic groups on each of the levels of job transfer. There is intimate relationship between E&T programs characteristics & organizational situational characteristics and job transfer, so we can't think of them separately. With this point of view the most frequently discussed problem is how to apply the theory in actual job, but in reality it's true that the improvement of job transfer can't reach the expectations of the E&T programs. In literature view study, the concepts of job transfer in E&T, the general theory on E&T, and the actual condition and points at issue of the existing E&T practices in the medium and small-sized hospitals were defined. As the results from empirical analysis, we could find followings: First, in evaluation of the job transfer, demographic characteristics (seniority, occupational category, position) variables have a significant different. Second, in degree of the job transfer, E&T programs characteristics(contents of E&T, design of E&T, conditions of E&T, teaching ability of lecturer, methods of E&T) variables have a different influence upon each of the evaluation levels of E&T. Third, support of CEO variables have a different influence on the job transfer according to contents, design, conditions of the E&T programs. Fourth, support of co-works variables have a different influence on the job transfer according to design, conditions, method of the E&T programs. Fifty, support of organizational atmosphere variables have a different influence on the job transfer according to contents, design, conditions of the E&T programs.

지역아동센터 종사자의 직무성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 (Factors influencing Job Performance of Community Child Center Workers)

  • 본 연구는 지역아동센터 종사자들을 대상으로 그들의 직무성과와 관련 변인들 간의 관계를 분석함으로써 직무성과를 향상시키기 위한 접근방안을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 직무성과와 관련 변수들의 특성과 변인들 간의 관계를 탐색하고, 직무성과에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 임파워먼트 요인, 네트워크 요인, 직무특성 요인에 따라 직무성과에 유의미한 차이가 있어 직무성과와 각 관련 요인들 간의 관련성을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 위계적 회귀분석 결과, 각 단계마다 새로운 변수군을 투입하여 각 모델의 변화를 확인하였다. 그리하여 변수들의 영향력, 유의미성, 모델 전체의 설명력 변화를 통하여 임파워먼트 요인, 네트워크 요인, 직무특성 요인 등의 변수들이 직무성과에 영향을 미치고 있음을 검증할 수 있었다.

미용종사자의 직업관련 변수와 직업전문성이 직업만족도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of Job-related Variables on Job Satisfaction and Professionalism among Beauty Salon Workers)

  • 본 연구는 부산, 울산지역에 소재하는 헤어 미용종사자 144명을 대상으로 직업관련 변수에 따라 직업전문성과 직업만족도가 어떠한 차이가 있는지 알아보고 직업관련 변수와 직업전문성이 직업만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 월평균소득과 환경만족도에 따라 직업전문성과 직업만족도는 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 변수들과의 상관관계에서 직업전문성은 월평균 소득, 경력, 환경만족도와 정적상관이 있었으며, 직업만족도는 월평균 소득, 환경만족도, 직업전문성과 정적상관이 있었다. 경력에서는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 변인들이 직업만족도에 미치는 영향에서 월평균 소득, 환경만족도, 직업전문성이 높을수록 직무만족도는 높게 나타났다. 이중 직업전문성의 설명력이 가장 높았다. 따라서 미용종사자들의 전문성에 대한 확신과 직업만족 강화를 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

취업 주부의 직업 및 가족 스트레스에 대한 인구학적 변인과 심리적 변인의 상대적 영향력 분석 (Analysis on Relative Effectiveness of Demographic and Psychological Variables on Employed Wives' Job-and Family-Related Stress)

  • This study investigated the relationship of demographic and psychological variables with job and family-related stress among 293 employed wives. We found that age, job types, working in weekend, and family cohesion significantly contributed to the explanation of job-related stress. We also found that job types, working in weekend, family adaptation, family cohesion, and employment motivation significantly contributed to explaining the variation of family-related stress. Job-related stress was more explained by demographic variables than psychological ones, whereas family-related stress was more explained by psychological variables than demographic ones. Practical implications of the current findings were discussed.

서울과 부산지역 특급호텔 조리사 직무만족 요인들의 비교분석 (A Comparison of Cooks' Job Satisfaction in Luxury Hotels in Seoul and Busan)

  • This study examines whether job satisfaction of cooks working in the luxury hotels in Seoul significantly differs from those in Busan. The data for this study was collected from randomly chosen luxury hotels located in both areas. Out of 264 cooks who participated in the study, 130 and 134 turned out to be from Seoul and from Busan, respectively. SPSS 14.0 version was used for factor analysis to combine job satisfaction variables, identifying five factors; competence development, work environment, salary and employee benefits, co-worker relations, superior relations. While this study used t-test for identifying whether there is a significant difference between the two cities and between the part of demographic variables, ANOVA was applied in other demographic variables such as education, age, job position, and income.

방사선사의 직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 융복합요인 (Convergence factor Influencing Job Satisfaction of Radiographer)

  • 대한방사선사협회에 등록이 되었고 현재 근무를 하는 방사선사 213명을 대상으로 방사선사의 직무만족도를 높이기 위한 융복합요인과 직무스트레스를 낮추기 위한 기초자료로 제공하고자 하였다. 일반적특성, 직무특성, 직무스트레스, 직무만족도를 포함한 총 105문항의 설문지를 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 직무만족도는 심리적요인, 환경적요인, 구조적요인으로 구분하였으며, 직무스트레스는 물리환경, 직무요구, 직무자율성 결여, 관계갈등, 직무불안정, 조직체계, 보상부적절, 직장문화로 구분하였다. 심리적요인은 학력이 높을수록, 근무처가 서울에 있는 경우, 사명감을 많이 느끼는 경우, 이직의도가 없는 경우 직무불안정의 스트레스가 낮을수록 직무만족도가 높았다. 환경적요인은 급여가 낮은 그룹이 직무만족도가 높았다. 구조적요인은 사명감이 높을수록, 이직의도가 없는 경우, 조직체계 및 보상 부적절, 직장문화에 대한 스트레스가 낮을수록 직무만족도가 높았다. 전체 만족도는 사명감이 높을수록, 이직의도가 없는 사람, 보상부적절, 직장문화에 대한 스트레스가 높을수록 직무만족도가 낮았다. 방사선사의 안정적인 일자리 제공과 적절한 보상 및 조직문화에 관련된 제도가 필요하다.

직무스트레스와 사회적 지원이 병원종사자들의 조직효과성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Job Stress and Social Support on the Organizational Effectiveness of Hospital Employees)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of job stress and social support on the organizational effectiveness of hospital employees and to examine the role of social support in the experience of job stress among the employees. Previous studies have yielded mixed results regarding the role of social support. Some studies provide supporting evidence for the buffering effect of social support, while others do not. Still others report findings about reverse buffering effects. These inconsistent findings are, in part, accounted for by methodological problems such as poor measurement, small sample size, and the existence of high multicollinearity. To examine more rigorously the role of social support in relation to the negative effects of job stress, this study was carefully designed to overcome methodolgical shortcomings found in the past research. In addition, unlike the previous studies, which were concerned mostly with health-related variables as consequences of job stress, in this study, three work-related variables (job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and intent to stay) which had close relationships with organizational effectiveness were examined as output variables. The sample used in this study consisted of 353 employees from a university hospital in the surburbs of Seoul. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using canonical analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that; (1) job stress has negative main effects on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and intent to stay; (2) social support has positive main effects on the same three output variables, (3) social support does not moderate the harmful effects of job stress on the three outcome variables, and (4) the three-way interaction effects of (social support * job stress * gender) and of (social support * job stress * education) are not supported. The implications of these findings for the management of human resources are discussed.
