The propose of this study was to analyze the relationships among the levels of training & development evaluation (reaction, learning, transfer). The study has been conducted on 730 trainees who attended in the basic accounting program in L training and development institution through three incidents of tracked research such as reaction survey right after the conclusion of training, learning evaluation through test, and an evaluation of the transferability after 3 months of training. Questionnaires and test papers for analyses were used after their reliability, validity, difficulty, and discrimination have been verified on a pre-test. The research has been conducted for six months from 4 March 1996 to the end of August 1996, and data have been collected through direct research and survey through mail. The collected data have been worked on at SAS program for Windows with a statistical significance level of 5%. Statistical method that had been used was Pearson's correlation coefficient. The result and conclusion acquired from this study were as follows: Between reaction and learning, learning and transfer of training, only a weak positive correlation exists and explanation or prediction variance showing hierarchical relationship was quite weak with 1%. Thus, this research not only does not strongly support Kirkpatrick(1976)'s hierarchical model of $reaction{\rightarrow}learning{\rightarrow}transfer$, but also indicates that the separate measurement on each levels of training evaluation needs to be done. On the other hand, there was a relatively strong positive correlation between reaction and transfer of training. Based on the result, the conclusion, and the restriction perceived through this study, the following suggestions were made. 1. There is a need to empirically analyze and verify the hierarchy of all levels of training evaluation including the evaluation of the fourth level (result) such as organizational productivity, organizational satisfaction, and separation rate. 2. A great deal of efforts will be needed to systematically analyze what the relationships are among the methods measuring the level of evaluation of the training and development, and to apply this result to the training field.

Since talent model and core competence based training are in demand, this study aimed to develop proper talent model and major competencies for the Department of Library and Information Sciences at K University and propose appropriate educational subjects based thereon. To this end, related documents were analyzed, expert opinions were obtained, and a consumer survey was conducted, which yielded the following results. First, the talents required at the Department of Library and Information Sciences were broken down into different areas, such as curation, intelligence, service, technology, and professionalism. Second, fifteen major competencies were demanded from these talents, such as collection (in terms of collecting documents and information), organizational, and preservation skills. Third, in order to realize these talents and major competencies, K University has implemented additional subjects in its curriculum. Furthermore, it appears that the librarians' talents and their competencies in the field should be developed at the national level, while NCS core competence based training should also be developed and implemented.
The purpose of the study was to investigate the perceptions and opinions of culinary art high school and undergraduate students on the curriculum for Korean culinary arts education. The results of the research were as follows. High school students were found to be more satisfied regarding their culinary arts curriculum than college and university students (p<0.001). In addition, high school students gave a significantly higher score for the 'need for Korean culinary arts major' than college and university students' (p<0.001). University students placed more emphasis on the current policies and business projects of the government for globalization of Korean cuisine as compared to high school and college students (p<0.001). A high percentage of respondents perceived Korean cuisine to be 'old fashioned(44.6%), followed by 'difficulty in finding a good job(40.1%)'. Forty five% of the students responded that the important factor for Korean culinary arts education was the 'curriculum'. More than half of the students perceived 'ability to adapt traditional cuisine style to foreigners and modern customers' as a very important area. In terms of areas required to be included in Korean culinary arts curriculum, ‘basic cooking skills(4.49)' received the highest perceived need score, followed by 'languages(4.46)', 'traditional Korean food(4.33)' and ‘Korean food culture(4.21)'. The findings of the study can be used to develop a curriculum for Korean culinary arts major.

Representative domestic start-up support organizations include the Business Incubator(BI), Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development(KISED), Techno Park(TP), and Center of Creative Economy Innovation(CCEI), and there are about 260 Business incubator nationwide. The Business incubator is operated by universities, research institutes, and private foundations or associations. The organization consists of the center director and the incubating professionals (hereinafter referred to as "manager"), etc., and performs tasks such as center operation management and incubation support services for tenant companies. Until now, research on the operation of Business Incubator has been mainly focused on the performance of tenant companies. Studies on whether the manager's competency characteristics directly or indirectly affect the performance of the tenant companies through psychological mediators such as self-efficacy and organizational commitment were very scarce. The purpose of this study is to explore various factors influencing organizational commitment and job performance by the competence characteristics of Business incubator managers, and to explain the causal relationship among those factors. In particular, the difference in perception was investigated by a manager's survey that influences organizational commitment and work performance at the Business incubator. Through this, we intend to present practical implications for the role of managers in the operation of Business incubators. This study is an exploratory study, and the subject of the study was a survey of about 600 managers working at Business incubator nationwide, of which 116 responses were analyzed. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, and reliability. Structural equation model analysis was performed for hypothesis tests. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the cognitive characteristics of the Business incubator manager, communication, and situational response as the behavioral characteristics had a positive effect on the manager's self-efficacy, and the behavioral characteristics had a greater effect on the self-efficacy. It was also found that the manager's cognitive and behavioral characteristics, and self-efficacy had a positive effect on organizational commitment and work performance. In particular, a manager's self-efficacy has a positive effect on organizational commitment and work performance. This result showed that the manager's competency characteristics increase the manager's self-efficacy as a mediating factor rather than directly affecting organizational commitment and work performance. This study explains that the manager's competency characteristics are transferred to organizational commitment and work performance. The results of the study are expected to reflect the job standard of the National Competency Standards (NCS) and basic vocational competency to the job competency of managers, and it also provides a guideline for the effective business incubator operation in terms of human resource management. In practice, it is expected that the results of the study can reflect the vocational basic skills of the Business Incubator manager's job competency in the National Competency Standards(NCS) section, and suggest directions for the operation of the Business Incubator and the manager's education and training.
In accordance with the rapidly changing social environment, it is becoming more important to cultivate creative and convergent practical talents with flexible thinking skills and problem-solving skills. Therefore, it is necessary for universities to provide educational experiences that enable students to cooperate and converge multidisciplinaryly to carry out on-the-job projects based on what they have learned at school. Therefore, this study designed, developed, and operated with the aim of cultivating creative talents with integrated problem-solving ability through a multidisciplinary capstone design curriculum based on industry-academia cooperation. To this end, the curriculum was developed together by recruiting participating companies and forming a convergence professor team, and it was operated for 15 weeks for students majoring in cosmetics engineering at D University. After the education was over, learning satisfaction and perceived academic achievement were surveyed, and as a result of the analysis, it was found to be above average with 3.77 points and 3.86 points, respectively. And as a result of the in-depth interview on the participation experience, five themes related to the positive experience and three themes related to the negative experience were derived. This study will be able to provide basic data when operating a multidisciplinary convergence capstone design curriculum based on industry-academia cooperation in the future.

The data were collected from June 29. 1999 to April. 2000, using a 46-item questionnaire related to PPD, and analyzed by SAS program for t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, stepwise multiple regressions. The results were as follows : 1. The level of PPD according to general characteristics Women had mild PPD (Min score; 46.0, Max score; 124.0). The PPD levels were significantly differences according to religion and marital satisfaction (p<0.05). 2. The level of PPD according to obstetrical characteristics 1) Characteristics related to pregnancy The PPD levels were significantly differences according to mood change, confidence of body weight recovery, depression related to appearance change, husband's help to housework, and husband's emotional support (p<0.05). 2) Stressful events during pregnancy The PPD levels were significantly differences according to financial problem, conflict between partners, conflict between family, and husband's job change (p<0.05). 3) Characteristics related to delivery and post natal period The PPD levels were significantly differences according to baby's health state, parenting confidence, and difficulties related to postpartum care (p<0.05). 3. The variables to predict postpartum depression in postpartum women are depression related to appearance change (10.4%), parenting confidence (8.8%), husband's help to housework (2.7%), confidence of body weight recovery (2.4%), husband's job change (1.9%), baby's health state (1.9%), difficulties related to postpartum care (1.6%), mood change (1.2%), conflict between partners (0.6%), marital satisfaction (0.5%), financial problem (0.4%). The sum total of all the above variables can account for 32.4% of postpartum depression. 4. The level of PPD according to PPD factors. Women had the highest degree of PPD in biophysiological phenomena-disturbance of physical functioning factor. The factors of relationship to baby-negative feeling and cognitive phenomena-self concept disturbance were showed the lowest degree of PPD. As a result of the above findings, a systemic and individualized program is strongly recommended for PPD prevention, diagnosis, and care for PPD in postpartum women. In near future, this study should be expanded to investigate the coping skills according to the PPD levels in postpartum women.
