The majority of construction site incidents occur due to a lack of hazard awareness among workers on job sites. This lack of awareness is despite mandatory construction safety training, typically in the form of written content (safety manuals) or of images depicting hazards. To reduce job-site injuries and fatalities, general contractors have started adopting Virtual Reality (VR) to impart safety training to job site personnel. VR safety training can take the form of an immersive simulation comprising potential safety hazards intentionally embedded into a virtual job site; users are required to identify these hazards within a specified time frame with the expectation that they will be more adept at recognizing hazards on an actual job-site, resulting in fewer accidents. This research study seeks to identify the actual impacts of VR on construction safety awareness among participants. The research addresses the following question: Does VR improve hazard recognition awareness? The primary objective is to evaluate participants' performance of past construction safety awareness against present construction safety awareness after receiving VR training. Participants were asked to complete a multiple-choice Qualtrics™ questionnaire. The results of the study showed a statistically significant knowledge gain advantage with respect to hazard recognition and construction safety awareness with the use of interactive, immersive VR over a more conventional and passive safety training method.

Method: 154 specialized home care nurses in 63 hospitals and clinics that are implementing home care programs were subject to the study. Result: 1. The level of role awareness among professional home care nurses was $4.47\pm0.41$ on average out of 5. 2. The average score for role conflicts was $3.87\pm0.61$ out of 5. 3. In terms of job satisfaction level. $3.33\pm0.71$ was scored out of 5. 4. It has been discovered that there are statistically significant positive correlations among role awareness level, role conflicts(r= .224, P= .005), and job satisfaction level(r= .166, P=.040), while a negative correlation was detected between role conflicts and job satisfaction level(r=-.210, P= .009). Conclusion: The level of role awareness among professional home care nurses in the field of hospital based home care nursing service was very high and job satisfaction level was high when the level of home care nursing antecedents was high and the organization structure of working place was independent. A regression analysis was then performed. Results: The subjects' average score for professionalism was $3.18{\pm}0.31$ points. The lowest score for satisfaction was observed for 'Compliance of professional organization'. Professionalism had an effect on job satisfaction. 'Vocation awareness of the profession (${\beta}=0.44$, p<0.001)', 'Beliefs about public service (${\beta}=0.25$, p<0.01)', and 'Autonomy (${\beta}=0.17$, p<0.05)' had an effect on job satisfaction. R square=0.46 (adjusted R square=0.45). Professionalism had an effect on job performance. 'Autonomy (${\beta}=0.29$), p<0.001)', 'Vocation awareness of the profession (${\beta}=0.22$, p<0.05)', and 'Beliefs about self-regulation (${\beta}=0.18$, p<0.05)' had an effect on job performance. R square=0.25 (adjusted R square=0.22). Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that in order to improve job satisfaction and job performance, it is necessary to improve professionalism. Therefore physical therapists should improve their professionalism ('Compliance of professional organization', 'Beliefs about public service', 'Autonomy', 'Beliefs about self-regulation', and 'Vocation awareness of the profession') in order to improve their job satisfaction and job performance. Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the job awareness of dental hygiene students about a dental hygienist, what duties they wanted to do as dental hygienists, their awareness of college courses related to the job performance of dental hygienists and whether they viewed the courses as what's most widely utilized for the clinical job performance of dental hygienists. It's ultimately meant to help provide good education for dental hygiene students to have the right understanding of dental hygienists and bolster their professionalism. Methods : The subjects in this study were 301 dental hygiene students in four different colleges located in the metropolitan area. A survey was conducted to find out their satisfaction level with the department of dental hygiene, personal characteristics, awareness of college courses and awareness of the duties of dental hygienists. Results : The group of students who deemed the life span of the dental hygienist occupation to be long put more significance on the college courses that should focus on job performance. As for the relationship between their personal characteristics and awareness of the college courses, their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the department and their ideas on the life span of the occupation made significant differences to that. The group of students who considered the life span of the occupation to be longer thought that the college courses would be more linked to the duties of dental hygienists and their job performance and should be given more weight, and there were significant differences among them in their view of the life span of the occupation and awareness of the college courses that should be given more weight(p<.05). Their view of how much the college courses would be linked to the duties of dental hygienists had a statistically significant correlation to that of the college courses that should focus on the clinical job performance of dental hygienists. Conclusions : The above-mentioned findings suggest that as part of the regular curriculum, the kind of education that aims at boosting the professionalism and job performance of dental hygienists as experts should be provided for dental hygiene students to build the right values as professional dental hygienists.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of nurses' awareness of healthcare accreditation on their job stress and turnover intention. Methods: Across-sectional correlation study design was used. Participants consisted of 143 nurses from two tertiary hospitals in Seoul and Gyunggido, South Korea. Data were collected in October 2016 using self-report questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, an ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression in SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: Awareness of health care accreditation correlated negatively with job stress (r=-.63, p<.001) and turn over intention (r=-.50, p<.001). Awareness of health care accreditation was the factor that most influenced job stress, explaining 38% of the variance (F=23.10, p<.001). Awareness of health care accreditation and duty pattern were the factors that most influenced intention to leave, explaining 32% of the variance (F=10.35, p<.001). Conclusion: These findings suggest raising nurses' awareness of certification systems to reduce their job stress and turnover intentions. It will be necessary to provide support for the aggressive work nurses do and improve their work structure, highlighting the need for both manpower and institutional support. Accordingly, providing regular education programs and appropriate compensation schemes, by raising nurses' awareness of medical institutions' certification systems, is necessary.
