군단위 농촌지역의 스포츠이벤트에서 서비스품질 만족이 지역 이미지와 재방문의사에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Satisfaction with Service Quality of County Level Local Sport Event on Local Image and Re-Visit Intention)

  • The service quality and image are a central factor in understanding tourists destination choice. Existing literature suggests that sport event and destination image could interact to influence tourism behaviours. The purpose of this study w as to identify the factors influencing local image and re-visit intention in the 68th Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Sport Event held in Yesan city. The results of the study are as follows; First, as a result of factor analysis on the satisfaction with the sports event composed of 17 items, three factors were categorized, which were 'event management', 'event facility' and 'supporting facilities'. Second, satisfaction with local event had a positive effect on local image. Especially, satisfaction with event management had greater effect on local image than event facilities and supporting facilities. Third, as satisfaction with local event had positive effect on re-visitation intention, satisfaction with sports event had positive effect on the success of the sport event itself and re-visitation intention for the region. Fourth, as local image had a positive effect on re-visitation intention, strategic approaches to linking factors of tourism are required to attract visitors in addition to sports events.

  • 온라인 콘텐츠의 발전은 매우 다양하고도 급격하게 사회의 가치를 변화시키고 있다. 특히, COVID-19 펜데믹 상황을 완전히 극복하지 못한 현 상황에서 비대면을 중심으로 하는 e스포츠 산업은 큰 폭으로 성장하고 있다. e스포츠 산업에 NFT를 활용하는 것은 e스포츠 유저들의 디지털 자산을 보호해주는 미래성장 가능성이 큰 분야로 긍정적인 평가를 받고 있지만, 동시에 디지털 아이템의 현금거래로 사행성이 조장될 수 있다는 우려를 낳고 있다. 본 연구에서는 문헌, 공식 사이트, 온라인 뉴스 기사를 활용한 사례연구를 통해 최근 e스포츠 산업과 NFT의 특성을 파악하고 분류하였다. e스포츠와 NFT 다양한 사례를 통해서 e스포츠의 NFT 산업의 미래성장 가능성과 활성화 방안에 대해서 논의하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, e스포츠 종목 자체의 IP를 활용한 NFT 이용의 필요성이다. 둘째, 아이템의 기능적인 역할을 NFT에 접목하여 유저들이 활용할 수 있는 기능을 제공 할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 유저들이 e스포츠와 NFT를 활용한 경제활동을 할 수 있는 기회를 제공 할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로 e스포츠 유저들의 디지털 자산보호를 강화하는데 NFT를 활용할 필요가 있다. 본 연구를 통해 e스포츠의 NFT 산업에 대한 발전적인 논의를 위한 근거와 경쟁력 확보를 위한 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

Association between Shopping Items and the Demographics of Foreign Tourists in South Korea

  • Purposes - In this research, we look over and investigate associations between shopping items and the demographics of foreign tourists in South Korea. The related seven variables are gender, age, occupations, country of residence, visit month, visit purpose and trip type. In addition, we can graph twenty-one shopping items in association with the demographics of foreign tourists by computing their dissimilarity or similarity on two dimension planes granting that the association exists between the underlying variables. Research design and methodology - This research is performed by Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2017 and investigated 13,200 foreign tourists from 20 countries. For analyzing the detailed relationships between shopping items and the demographics of foreign tourists, we take advantage of both independent test and correspondence analysis as key statistical techniques. Results - The findings show that shopping items which foreign tourists purchase are closely associated with the three different demographics variables such as country of residence, tour type and visit purpose by monitoring significant p-value of chi-squared statistic Conclusions - This study suggests Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism must explore ways toward tourism infrastructure such as global marketing, municipality strategy for attracting foreign tourists, development of diverse shopping items and services and so on.

  • International exchange gets active in nations with the increase of Internet use and heading toward digital age. Thus the communication conveying image of nations effectively plays an important role in an international society. Sports events are regarded as important international exchange events and good opportunities for public relations of one's own country and taken as tools of planting good images in other nations. This study surveyed the concept and history of uniform through the documents and previous studies in order to find the aesthetic characteristics of sportswear uniform applying the image of national ensign and investigates the origin and start time in Korea of selected 6 sports items. As a result of finding the expression way of ensign image and drawing the aesthetic characteristics by analyzing the use and variation of ensign colors, the use of colors other than ensign and reflection of ensign form in collected 60 sports uniforms, this study could draw the symbolical beauty, beauty of variation and beauty of brevity. First, symbolical beauty is the aesthetic characteristics expressing uniforms by using the pattern ensign symbolizes and ensign colors themselves or enlarging a part of ensign. Second, beauty of variation is the aesthetic characteristics creating geometrical new patterns in uniform through the distortion and exaggeration of ensign shape, or transforming the colors themselves of ensign. Third, beauty of brevity is the aesthetic characteristics using other colors only as decorative factor while applying the main colors of ensign to the most part of uniform, or unifying the uniforms with only one color of ensign. As a result of survey, the proportion of the symbolical beauty was highest in summer season and beauty of brevity and beauty of variation followed and the proportion of beauty of variation was highest and the symbolical beauty and beauty of brevity followed after that in winter season. This study found the way of expressing image of one's own country in sports uniform through this article, expecting the exact recognition on sports uniform and the diversity of sports uniform design in which the images of the nation are expressed more variously.

Common Trigger Points on College-Level Athletes with Various Sports

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the distribution of trigger points(TrPs) on athletes with various sporting background. To achieve the purpose, a study was carried out through a survey from 180 athletes involved in 6 selected sports at Yong-In University. Selected sports included Judo, Taekwondo, Kendo, Ssi-reum(Korean traditional wrestling), Boxing, and Golf. An interview type survey and physical examination were conducted with each thirty athletes from each of the selected sports groups. Technical statistic(SPSS 15.0) was used to analyze the distribution of TrPs on these athletes. The most common TrPs observed in muscles of Trapezius, Quadratus Lumborum, Quadriceps in Judo. In Taekwondo, it was on the trapezius and triceps surae. Kendo athletes had TrPs at sites of trapezius, brachioradialis and triceps surae. Ssirem athletes were found to have TrPs on trapezius, deltoid and quadrates lumborum. In boxers, TrPs appearing at trapezius and brachioradialis were observed. Finally, Golf players were seen to have TrPs at trapezius, quadrates lumborum and brachioradialis. Hence, the analysis shows that there are significant differences of the distribution of TrPs according to the different sport items of the athlete.

온라인 게임 사용자의 게임 아이템 거래 행동 특성 분석을 위한 퍼지논리 에이전트 기반 모델링 시뮬레이션 (Analyzing the Online Game User's Game Item Transacting Behaviors by Using Fuzzy Logic Agent-Based Modeling Simulation)

  • 본 연구에서는 퍼지논리 에이전트 기반 모델링(ABM: Agent-Based Modeling)을 이용한 시뮬레이션 기법을 이용하여 대표적 온라인 게임 장르인 MMORPG게임과 스포츠게임별로 게임 사용자들의 아이템 거래 행동특성을 분석하고자 한다. 온라인 게임 시장에서 아이템 거래는 게임회사의 수익성을 좌우하는 핵심변수이다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 기존 온라인 게임 연구에서는 게임 장르별로 게임 사용자들의 아이템 거래 행동특성을 면밀하게 분석하는 연구가 부족하였다. 이는 온라인 게임시장의 특성상 실증분석이 어렵기 때문이다. 이 같은 기존 연구의 한계를 극복하기 위한 방법으로 본 연구에서는 ABM을 이용한다. 한편, 게임 사용자들의 행동 특성은 게임 장르별로 달라지며 주어진 게임의 특성에 따라서 많은 편차를 보이기 때문에 그만큼 모호성과 불확실성이 수반된다. 이러한 상황을 고려하여 본 연구에서는 ABM과 퍼지 논리를 결합한 방법을 적용한다. 본 연구에서 고려한 온라인 게임 장르는 MMORPG와 스포츠게임이다. ABM과 퍼지 논리를 결합한 시뮬레이션 결과 MMORPG 게임장르에서는 사용자들이 고성능 아이템에 값비싼 가격을 지불할 동기가 있음이 확인되었다. 반면, 스포츠게임 장르의 경우 게임 사용자들은 아이템 성능 자체에는 민감하게 반응하지 않으며, 상대적으로 합리적인 가격대에서 게임 아이템 거래를 하고자 함을 알 수 있었다. 이 같은 본 연구의 분석결과로 미루어 볼 때 본 연구에서 제안하는 퍼지논리 기반의 ABM 시뮬레이션 기법은 온라인 게임사가 게임 아이템 관리 및 고객 이탈방지전략 수립 시 유용하게 사용될 가능성이 충분한 도구임을 알 수 있었다.

Study on the Influence and Difference of Taijiquan and Five-animal Exercises on College Students' Ankle Muscle Strength

  • The physique and health status of Chinese college students have received a generous concern in recent years. The physical condition of Chinese college students is not good and this phenomenon is especially obvious among female college students, which has been an disputable fact. This study starts from exercise intervention to study the concrete influence of taijiquan (a kind of traditional Chinese shadow boxing) and five-animal exercises on human body balance ability; the study uses experimental apparatus to measure the specific impact of exercise intervention on human body balance ability; meanwhile, the study also applies data analysis to longitudinally study whether the two studied sports items affect body balance, and whether there is difference in terms of the influence of two sports items on human body balance ability. The conclusions are as follows: firstly, 24-style taijiquan and five-animal exercises can improve ankle muscle strength, and the focus and degree of the improvement are different; secondly, five-animal exercises have a better improvement effect on the flexor and extensor muscles of ankle joint and 24-style taijiquan is in the second place. Moreover, compared with 24-style taijiquan, there is no significant difference in terms of the improvement caused by five-animal exercises; thirdly, 24-style taijiquan has a better effect on the improvement of internal rotation and evertors muscle strength. Compared with 24-style taijiquan, five-animal exercises have no significant difference in terms of the improvement degree.

스포츠사상에 대한 주관성 연구 (A Subjective Study on Sport Ideologies)

  • 본 연구는 스포츠사상에 대한 주관성을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 대상은 체육과 관련한 교사, 교수, 연구원, 행정가 그리고 대학생 및 대학원생 등 25명으로 하였다. 연구방법은 인간의 주관적 인식을 탐색할 수 있는 Q방법론을 활용하였다. 연구결과 4개의 유형이 탐색되었다. 제1유형은, '공정승패형'으로, 스포츠사상에 대해 승패, 공정판정, 각본 없는 드라마, 참가정신 등 스포츠경기와 관련한 진술문에 긍정적 인식을 나타냈다. 제2유형은 '체육철학형'으로, 스포츠 사상에 대해 스포츠철학, 심신일원론, 호연지기, 화랑도정신 그리고 스포츠논리학 등 스포츠철학과 관련한 진술문에 긍정적 인식을 나타냈다. 제3유형은 '소통활동형'으로, 스포츠사상에 대해 소통의 장, 사회활동, 배려 등 스포츠의 참여활동과 관련한 진술문에 긍정적 인식을 나타냈다. 제4유형은 '건강복지형'으로, 스포츠사상에 대해 복지, 노후보장, 레저, 오락(게임), 건강 등 생활체육과 관련한 진술문에 긍정적 반응을 나타냈다.

슬랙스 설계를 위한 스포츠전공 남자대학생의 하반신 체형 연구 (A Study on the Measurement and Shape of Lower Body of Sportmen)

  • The aim of this study is to provide fundamental data on the development of ready-to-wear clothing appropriate for the lower body types of male students who play sports in college. The study was conducted by means of targeting 151 male sports majors between $18{\sim}27$ years of age. Characteristics of the respondents were ascertained by means of questionnaires and an evaluation of a total of 36 lower body features. The results of the study are as follows. 1. A comparison of anthropometric measurements with the National Anthropometric Survey of Korea (1997) revealed that the main characteristics of the lower somatotypes of male sports college students are large circumferences and developed muscles of the lower body. 2. Sports were classified into the following five categories : soccer, bodybuilding, wrestling, judo, and taekwondo. In particular, bodybuilding students demonstrated a somatotype with an increased circumference, depth, and width of the thigh and lower body. 3. Somatotypes were classified into 3 types by means of a cluster analysis employing S factors. Type 1 somatotype exhibits a large circumference in the lower body. Type 2 is a lower somatotype of a middle size. Finally, Type 3 encompasses a smaller group in weight and circumference with a developed calf and ankle. 4. Each group was evaluated using a discriminatory analysis as a check to see if the groups had been discriminated with accuracy. The total accuracy rate was 96.0%.

The Impact of Coach Leadership Type on Exercise of College Athletes

  • Purpose: Prior literature posits that leadership of coach influences athletes' performance via delegate interactions. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the type of instructor on the exercise stress of university athletes and to provide instructors with informative coaching methods especially for their leadership. Research design, data, and methodology: In order to achieve the purpose of the research, Seoul and Gyeonggi Province Materials University athletes were selected as a sample, 360 college athletes participated in the survey and data were screened and finally 314 were analyzed. The collected data were analyzed via descriptive analysis and multiple regressions. To examine the validity and reliability of the survey items, factor analysis and Cronbach's α were computed. Results: Coaches' leadership types are found to influence university athletes' exercise stress significantly. In specific, transformational leadership negatively influences teaching Complaints. Transformational leadership also negatively influences time constraints. However, transformational and transactional leadership do not have any effect on career concerns. transformational and transactional leadership also do not influence functional instability of college athletes. Conclusions: Overall, leadership types of coach partially influence exercise stress of athletes. These findings posit that transformational leadership contribute in developing reliable relationship between athletes and instructors. Further implications were discussed.
