Concrete is inherently a good fire-resistance material among all other constrcution materials and protects the reinforcing steel inside. This study investigates the material characteristics of concrete and steel bar inside the full scale reinforced concrete(RC) beam exposed to fire test. The fire test specimen was 4 m long and the test was conducted under no loading condition following KS F 2257. Fire source is simulated by ISO 834 and number of thermocouples were installed to measure temperature variation of surfaces and inside of the beam. The measured compressive strength of cored specimen, which was exposed to fire test, was 11 MPa, about 66% lower than the strength before exposure. The yielding strength of steel bar also decreased about 75 MPa, about 17% lower. The measured temperature of protected steel bar was around $649^{\circ}C$, the critical limit, after 4 hour exposure.
This study is to get the proper evaluation of the residual property of reinforced concrete beam exposed to fire. This study focused on the strength resistance and analytical evaluation of RC members exposed high temperature. And this study is the basis analytical research to conduct the other studies. To analysis by the finite element method, the Total-RC program was used to analysis it and the Total-Temp program was also used to analysis the temperature distributions at the section. All of results were compared with the pre-existing experimental data of simple supported beam. Using it, the parameters influencing the structural capacity of the high temperature-damaged RC members and residual strength estimation are investigated. The temperature distribution and the structural capacity at the section are calculated in this step. An application of this method is compared with the heating test result and residual property test for simple supported beam which is subjected to ISO 834 test fire. The results of this study are as follows; 1) The loads-displacement relationship of RC beam, considering initial thermal stress of cross section and heat transfer analysis are estimated comparing analytical value with pre-existing experimental results. 2) by the heating time (0, 1, 2 hours), the results of analysis with parameters show that the load capacity exposing at fire is affected.

In this study, the fracture behaviour of DCB(double cantilever beam) specimen with aluminum foam composite materials is analyzed by simulation. The used model is 3D configuration on the basis of British industrial standard and ISO international standard. As the thickness of model is increased, the length of propagated crack is increased and the load becomes higher. The analysis result obtained by this study can be applied at the practical composite structure bonded with aluminum foam materials. The fracture behaviour is analyzed and the mechanical property can be understood.

Purpose: The aims of this study were to compare the superficial dose with Optically Stimulated Luminescence Dosimeter(OSLD) measurement and Treatment Planning System(TPS) calculation for 6MV-Flattening Filter Free(FFF) energy using HalcyonTM and TrueBeamTM. Materials and methods: Phantom study was performed using the CT images of human phantom. In the treatment planning system, the Planning Target Volume(PTV) was contoured which is similar to Glottic cancer. Furthermore, Point(M), Point(R), and Point(L) were contoured at the iso-center of head and neck region and 5mm bolus was applied to the body contour. Each treatment plans using 6MV-FFF energy from HalcyonTM and TrueBeamTM with static Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy(IMRT) and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy(VMAT) were established with eclipse. To reproduce the same position as the TPS, OSLDs were placed at the iso-center point and 5mm bolus was applied to compare the error rate after the dose delivery. Result: The results of the study using human phantom are as follows. In case of HalcyonTM, the mean absolute error rates of the point dose using the treatment planning system and the dose measured by OSLD were 1.7%±1.2% for VMAT and 4.0±2.8% for IMRT. Also TrueBeamTM was identified as 2.4±0.4% and 8.6±1.8% respectively for VMAT and IMRT. Conclusion: Through the results of this study, TrueBeamTM confirmed that the average error rate was 2.4 times higher for VMAT and 3.6 times higher for IMRT than HalcyonTM. Therefore, based on the results of this study, If we need a more accurate dose assessment for the superficial dose, It is expected that using HalcyonTM would be better than TrueBeamTM.
This paper aims to experimentally investigate the in-fire performance of composite beams with respect to the effects of load ratio and shear interaction. Under a Standard ISO834 fire, the development of temperature and deflection of simply supported composite beams were recorded. In particular, the transition of temperature distribution across the cross-section. The fire resistance of composite beam was interpreted regarding the level of shear interaction.

This paper aims to experimentally investigate the fire resistance of U-shaped hybrid composite beams protected by spay and paint insulations. Subjected to two and three hours of the Standard ISO fire, the flexural performance of 4.4m beams with/without imposed loadings was examined with respect to failure criteria such as deflection and deflection rate of the mid-span and temperatures measured in the steel section. The results demonstrated that the proposed configuration of the composite beam is able to achieve a very competitive 3-hour fire resistance rating in economical aspects.

This work aims to establish some X-ray qualities recommended by the International Standard Organization (ISO) using the half-value layer (HVL) and Hp(10) dosimetry approaches. The HVL values of the following qualities N-60, N-80, N-100, N-150 and N-250 were determined using various attenuation layers. The obtained results were compared to those of reference X-ray beam qualities and a good agreement was found (difference less than 5% for all qualities). The GAMOS (Geant4-based Architecture for Medicine-Oriented Simulations) radiation transport Monte Carlo toolkit was employed to simulate the production of X-ray spectra. The characteristics HVLs, mean energy and the spectral resolution of simulated spectra have been calculated and turned out to be conform to the ISO reference ones (difference less than the limit allowed by ISO). Furthermore, the conversion coefficients from air kerma to personal dose equivalent for simulated and measured spectra were fairly similar (the maximum difference less than 4.2%).
Conventionally, CCD camera and vision sensor using the projected pattern of light is generally used to inspect the weld bead defects. But with this method, a lot of time is needed for image preprocessing, stripe extraction and thinning, etc. In this study, laser vision sensor using the scanning beam of light is used to shorten the time required for image preprocessing. The software for deciding whether the weld bead is in proper shape or not in real time is developed. The criteria are based upon the classification of imperfections in metallic fusion welds(ISO 6520) and limits for imperfections(ISO 5817).

The modular beam made of steel material is wholly responsible for the load stress of the structure, therefore securing the fire-resistant capacity of the steel beam is absolutely important. The economic efficiency achieved by minimizing the thickness of the fire-resistant board attached, is also essential at the same time. Accordingly, a study of optimization of the thickness and interval of fire-resistant boards shall be conducted side by side. Therefore, in this study we have anticipated fire-resistant capacity by using a general-purpose S/W for finite elements, ABAQUS(6.7.1), in order to propose the configurable conditions that can secure the optimal fire-resisting capacity of modular beam. As a result of this analysis, it was impossible to secure the fire-resistance capacity when directly attaching fire-resistant board(30mm) on the modular board in accordance with KS F 2257-1, and the fire-resistant boards were manufactured in shape of module in consideration of its installation interval rather than direct application.

We studied the hydrogen-bonded $TlH_2PO_4$ (TDP) ferroelectrics treated with the proton-beam bombardment. The TDP material was irradiated with 1-MeV proton beam at a dose of $10^{15}/cm^2$. In order to analyze the hydrogen environment in TDP, we carried out the $^1H$ high resolution nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) - i.e., Combined Rotation And Multiple Pulse Spectroscopy (CRAMPS) measurement. The isotropic chemical shift of hydrogen indicates its displacive property is related to the $PO_4$ lattice deformation which occurs throughout the antiferroelectric-, the ferroelastic- and the paraelastic-phase transitions. The temperature dependence of $\sigma_{iso}$ reveals the electronic charge redistribution is induced by the proton-beam irradiation and the elastic property.
