VoIP Service is provided voice & image call using internetwork unlike traditional call. VoIP usage is becoming generalization & development. As a result, threats of security are steadily increasing. Regarding this situation, we will investigate the security problem of VoIP in various aspects. Also We will investigate main technology of security solution method for solve this problem.

This paper describes a IPv6 trial service provided by LG DACOM and discusses about the output of trial service. MIC has urged public organizations to introduce IPv6 technology into their network. As one of propelling policies, MIC and NIA launched some IPv6 trial project. LG DACOM, MIC's agent in doing IPv6 trial project, has selected three public organizations in order to deploy IPv6 based VoIP trial service. KMA, KISITI and MND gave out their different service requirements. In achieve this project we developed IPv6 supported voice IP phone, video IP phone, media gateway and IP-PBX. Furthermore, two KMA provincial offices adopted trial IP phone as working phone and replaced legacy PBX with IP-PBX. At the same time, public organizations introduced IPv6 technology into their local networks.

This paper designs and implements a VoIP module for embedded system. Many other VoIP modules for desktop environment has widely implemented but the one for embedded system is not prevalent yet. The implemented VoIP module uses the OpenH.323 and is operated on the WinCE PDA. We use the TCP-friendly adaptation for congestion control. The experiment results show smooth communication but a little noise. Future works include the minimization of noise.

The Ubiquitous/Unified Communication Platform supports various multimedia communication tools such as VoIP, Email, Unified Messaging, Instant Messaging, Web Conferencing, Audio/Video Communication etc. In this paper we introduced the main functions and architecture of the Unified Communication Platform and we researched on the function analysis and design of the VoIP System that supports PC-to-PBX/PSTN Phone and PBX/PSTN Phone-to-PC communications through the connectivity and interoperation with PSTN.

In this raper we researched on the development methods and design of the B-ISDN protocol embedded IP-PBX System with the computers interconnected by the Internet for the previous telephone exchange and communication. We designed the structure of the user terminal and exchange sewer of the IP-PBX System, defined message and data structure for call control, and designed call control state transition and call control message flows for user's communication. And we researched on the message flows for supplementary services and the call control for multiple calls.

VoIP(Voice over IP) is the technology to transport voice and video over IP networks such as Internet. Today, VoIP technology is viewed as the right choice for provide voice, video, and data communication over next generation network. We are sure that the multipoint VoIP will help enhancing the various application services in ubiquitous environment. The paper shows multipoint VoIP system implemented with end-point mixing model and introduces various embedded systems such as UFC(Ubiquitous Fashionable Computer), tourist guide terminal and industrial terminal which use the multipoint VoIP.

IP서브넷과 매체간의 이동성을 제공하기 위해서 IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force) Mobile IP WG(Working Group)에서 Mobile IP가 제안되었다. 현재 Mobile IP WG의 활동 방향은 그 동안의 Mobile IP가 특별히 지원을 하지 않던 무선 환경을 수용하는 쪽으로 초점이 맞추어 지고 있다. 특히 무선 환경에서는 무선 대역 및 전원 자원의 효율적인 활용이 커다란 이슈가 되며 이를 위해서는 이동 노드의 이동성 관리 상태의 지원이 하나의 해결책이 될 수 있다. 본 논문은 이동 호스트의 무선상에서의 대역 및 전원 자원의 효율적인 활용을 위한 이동성 관리 상태를 자원하기 위하여 Mobile IP를 활용한 페이징 기법을 제시한다. 제시하는 방법은 이동성 관리 상태를 정의하여 이동 노드의 관리 상태를 차별화하며 제어에 따르는 비용을 감소시켜 자원을 낭비를 줄인다. 특히 페이징 및 페이징 영역 관리를 위한 제어 메시지를 Mobile IP메시지를 수정하여 제시하게 되는데 수정된 Mobile IP를 활용한 페이징 제어 메시지는 새로운 부가적인 제어 메시지의 활용을 줄여 복잡함을 막고 모든 제어를 IP로 하는 이점을 얻을 수 있다.

Which factors should influence consumer consideration to subscribe to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)? Policy issues, managerial concerns, and demographic variables are possible factors. This paper discusses policy and managerial issues regarding VoIP adoption. A model that explains VoIP adoption is proposed and tested. This study analyzes a survey of 750 prospective VoIP users in Korea. The testing is accompanied by logistic regression and discriminant analysis. The results show that trust in VoIP, relative comparison of Quality to fixed service, numbering plan, satisfactions of call Quality and customer services on both fixed and mobile services have impacts on the adoption of VoIP. Implications for VoIP providers and policy makers are presented.

VoIP는 음성을 패킷 형태로 통합하여 real time으로 전송하는 기술이다. 최근 VoIP(Voice Internet Protocol)은 음성과 데이터를 통합하는 핵심 기술로 발전하고 있다. VoIP 구현을 위해 현재 가장 많이 사용되는 시그널링 프로토콜들은 H.323, SIP, MGCP, MEGACO 등이 있으며 현재 ITU-T의 H.323 프로토콜을 중심으로 서비스가 진행되고 있지만 많은 기능성과 확장성을 지닌 IETF의 SIP 프로토콜이 보편화될 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 이동 사용자를 고려하여 VoIP와 Mobile IP를 결합하여 성능 평가를 하였다. Mobile IP는 Mobie host가 인터넷상에서 임의의 위치에 접속하더라도 자신의 고유 주소로 전송되는 패킷을 수신 할 수 있도록 IP 프로토콜을 확장한 기술이다. 이러한 요구를 반영하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 이동 음성 서비스를 위한 H.323/SIP기반 Mobile IP 네트워크를 모델링 한 후 성능평가를 실시하였다.

VoIP는 유무선 인터넷의 IP 망을 기반으로 차세대 유비쿼터스형 전화로 부각될 가능성이 있으며 유선 부문의 VoIP는 특화된 서비스 모델을 바탕으로 급격한 시장확산이 진행되고 있다. 인터넷 전화인 VoIP는 저렴한 비용으로 고품질의 음성 및 화상 서비스를 제공할 뿐만 아니라 데이터 서비스와의 융합을 통해 이용자에게 다양한 편익을 제공한다는 측면에서 향후 성장잠재력이 높을 것으로 전망되고 있다. 특히, 기업에서는 VoIP를 통해 비용을 절감할 뿐만 아니라 VPN 또는 기업 데이터형 솔루션과 결합하여 새로운 경쟁무기로 활용할 유인이 있어 일반인에 비해 적극적인 수용태도를 형성하고 있다. 그런데, 국내 기업의 VoIP 수용현황 및 특성을 분석한 보고서가 거의 없는 실정이다. 이에 본 글에서는 국내 기업에 대한 조사결과를 바탕으로 VoIP 서비스 이용률, 이용방식, 만족 및 불만족 요인, 비이용기업의 잠재적 수요특성을 체계적으로 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 결론적으로 국내 기업에서 VoIP 서비스가 활성화되기 위한 방향을 제시하였다.
