The speedy advance of network technology with axis internet gives the business opportunities to the today's firms and also makes them apply the intranet and groupware to their management. And, the firms admit these technological changes and expand the investment on the network. But, the firm's plans to cope with the changes which is caused by the appliance of the network technology to their firms are not prepared yet. Especially, the firm's managers are particularly wondering on how to use the already invested network hardware. In this article, we investigated the advance process and direction of the network technology like internet, groupware, and intranet, the firm's efforts to build network system, and the changes of the business process procedures. To apply the new technologies such as intranet and groupware into the business, the firms have to change the function of computer center from the programming to the user training and the management of network and computing resources, and they need to standardize their business process.

본 연구의 목적은 다음과 같이 다섯 가지로 요약할 수 있다. 첫째로 기존의 해외직접투자 이론을 문헌적으로 고찰하여 종합평가 정리하고자 한다. 둘째로 한국 섬유산업의 해외직접투자동기를 이론적으로 해석해 본다. 셋째로 한국 섬유산업의 해외직접투자 현황을 토대로 투자성과 및 문제점을 파악한다. 다섯째로 향후 투자기업에 대한 투자방향 및 전략적 대응방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 연구목적에 따라 미주 및 동남아에 투자한 섬유기업을 대상으로 문헌 및 심층적인 면담조사한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째로 해외직접투자를 성공적으로 이끌기 위해서는 무엇보다도 먼저 다양하고도 효율적인 정보제공이 선행되어야 한다. 둘째로 한국기업의 해외직접투자가 주로 아시아와 중남미에 편중되어 있어 많은 부작용이 나타나고 있으므로 지역다변화를 통한 투자전략의 수립이 요구된다. 셋째로 투자의 효율성을 위해 의사결정의 현지화를 과감히 시도해야 한다. 넷째로 바람직한 해외직접투자를 위해 세계적인 네트워크의 형성이 요망된다. 다섯째로 현지의 저임금 확보나 수입규제 회피와 같은 소극적인 투자동기에서 이제는 현지시장 진출이나 고도의 기술획득 등을 위한 공격적이고도 적극적인 투자가 절실히 요구된다.

최근 정부는 지속가능한 녹색성장을 위하여 도로 중심의 교통체계에서 친환경 고효율의 교통수단인 철도중심의 교통체계로의 전환을 적극 추진하고 있다. 철도망을 통해 국토를 통합 다핵 개방형 구조로 재편하고자 철도부문 최상위 계획인 제2차 국가철도망구축계획을 고시('11.4)하였으며, 전국 주요거점을 일상 통근시간대인 1시간 30분대로 연결하여 하나의 도시권으로 통합하고자 하고 있다. 그러나, SOC사업의 타당성분석을 위한 비용편익분석방법론에는 철도사업의 특성이 반영되지 않아 철도사업이 도로사업에 비해 불리한 실정이었다. 이를 개선하기 위하여 철도시설공단에서는 철도투자 평가체계 개선방안 연구를 시행하였으며, 기획재정부에서는 철도투자평가체계 개선방안에 대한 많은 내용을 도입하여 철도부문 예비타당성조사에 대한 개선사항을 예타지침에 적용하였다. 본 논문에서는 철도투자 평가체계 개선방안에서 주요하게 논의된 사항인, 분석기간, 할인율, 통행시간절감편익, 교통사고절감편익, 차량대체 투자비 및 고속철도 운영유지보수비 부분에 대한 고찰을 하였으며, 아울러, 추가로 연구되어야할 부분에 대하여 알아보고자 한다. 이러한 개선 방안들이 향후 철도부문 타당성평가 방법론에 반영됨으로써 합리적 객관적인 철도투자 평가체계 구축이 가능할 것이며, 또한 선순환적인 철도투자가 이루어질 수 있을 것이다.

This paper proposes a model for assessing enterprise network maturity. We define maturity in terms of the institutional and member support for the network(organizational maturity) and its technical sophistication(technological maturity), and examine their relationships. We build several hypotheses about the relationships between the maturity types and between the maturity of the network and various organizational factors including industry, size, and performance of the enterprise. We test the hypotheses using data collected from a questionnaire survey with Korean firms. The results show that there is a positive correlation between organizational and technological maturity. It is also found that investment in the network infrastructure has a positive influence on the organizational efficiency. However, it is found that industry type does not affect network utilization, but size does, suggesting that large firms utilize network infrastructure more than small ones do. We also identify various relationships among performance, satisfaction level and the maturity of the enterprise networks. Finally, we provide an overview on the current technological state of the Korean enterprise networks.

In this study, the factors affecting the efficiency of 48 projects of private R&D institutes were analyzed using the Tobit model. Influencing factors were selected as open R&D network size, IT industry, interaction between R&D network size and IT industry, and type of R&D network cooperation. As a result of Tobit analysis, the R&D network size, the IT industry, and the type of R&D network cooperation were found to be significant. The larger the open R&D network size, the lower the efficiency, and the IT industry showed lower R&D efficiency than other industries. In addition, cooperation with universities and research institutes showed lower R&D efficiency than cooperation with companies. As a result of these studies, companies will be able to select and focus on cooperation with the outside in relations and investment allocation.

본 연구는 철로를 신설 또는 확장 시 목표로 설정한 지표를 최적화시키는 최적 노선구간을 선정하여 철도망의 네트워크 효과를 고려하는 방법론인 철도망 설계모형(Railway Network Design Problem, RNDP)을 이용하여 설계속도 수준별 고속철도망의 노선축별 분석구간별 투자우선순위를 선정하였다. RNDP의 목적함수를 총 통행시간 최소화로 설정하여 분석한 결과 투자우선순위가 가장 높은 고속철도망 노선축은 서동축이며, 다음으로 서해축, 남해축 순으로 나타났다. 또한 노선축별 최적안은 서동축의 경우 전 구간을 400km/h급으로 신선을 건설하는 대안이, 서해축의 경우 전라선 익산$\sim$여수 구간을 200km/hr급으로 고속화하는 사업을 활용하고 이 구간을 제외한 나머지 신선 구간(송도$\sim$익산)을 400km/h급으로 건설하는 대안인 것으로 분석되었다. 마지막으로 남해축의 경우에는 경전선, 즉 순천$\sim$마산 구간을 200km/hr로 고속화하는 사업을 활용하여 나머지 신선 구간(목포$\sim$순천, 마산$\sim$부산)을 350km/h로 건설하는 대안인 것으로 분석되었다.

The Cities that recently developed have been applied to private network for establishing information communication network system. The local governments planning or pursuing U-City construction should also choose the private network in consideration of operation and maintenance. In viewpoint of agency operating u-City, it is necessary to integrate traditional and new network. However, there has been lack of guides to choose U-City network considering the economic analysis between private and leased network. This study analyzed the characteristics of private and leased network, and the cost-benefit by estimating the network cost and communication demand focused on U-services that are recently applied. This study purpose a guide for efficient U-City information network selected by estimating ROI(Return On Investment) and BEP(Break Even Point) for establishing private and leased network.

Power plants maintenance data is to be sent to management server system via a communication network. In this case, reliable communication network is required. Transmission of the power plants maintenance data is used in the wired communication network or wireless communication network. PLC communication network is a kind of wired communication network. However PLC communication network is easily affected by noise. On the vulnerable areas in power line system, such as a mountain or rural areas, it is difficult to form a power line communication network. For a wireless communication, environment are also influenced factors in wireless communication. Harsh environmental factors are bring the communication characteristic degradation. In such areas it can be used a combination of two networks and in this way the complementary function can be achieved. Power plants are distributed in various regions across the country. The appropriate communication network is needed to maintain the power plant.This study investigated the effect of environment on the wired communication and wireless communication. It would examine a variable factor which is affect to the communication characteristic. We used PLC communication for wired communication network and ZigBee communication for wireless communication network. We investigated the characteristics of a single communication network and it raised the need for a complex communication technology to complement a single communication network.

업무 효율이나 정보화를 위해 우리나라의 대학, 기관등에서 정보 통신망을 구축하고 있는데 대부분의 경우 특별한 자문을 받지 않고 시공사에서 전체 솔루션을 제공하고 있다. 이로인해 크게 두가지 문제점이 발생하는데 하나는 통신망이 너무 늦어서 업무의 효율을 기하기 어렵거나 반대로 필요한 서비스에 비해 투자비가 작은 경우이다. 본 연구에서는소형의 통신망에서 대형까지 단계별로 효율적인 통신망 구축방법에 대해 기술하였다.

Internet portal sites have served customers for more than a decade in Korea. There have been several such sites have survived, succeeded and led the internet industry. What is the source of their competitiveness? We assumed that the network effect, which can vary dynamically, is an important factor; so we tried to build and analyze a system dynamics model on portal sites that represent their advertising business model. This model includes not only the network effect, but also customer's' expectations of the quality of portal sites, which also varies dynamically. As a result of our research, we can state that the network effect is important to stabilize and increase portal sites' quality, market share, income and cash flow. And we know that investment at a level above that which is merely required is necessary to preserve and stabilize their business.
