  • A novel type of single phase multi-step inverter is proposed, which has twelve-stepped levels of the output voltage. In this inverter the waveform of the output votage has smaller harmonic contents than those of a conventional six-step inverter. In this paper a new multi-step technique is analyzed. This new multi-step technique of the twelve-stewed single phase voltage source inverter has the advantage compared with the conventional six-step inverter, and the experimental results are proved by the calculation using spectrum-analyzer.

  • A company needs to maintain its machines always workable in order to keep the manufacturing time minimal. If any troubles un, they should be fixed as soon as possible. But, the complexity of modem machines make the trouble shooting difficult. So, it is important that the monitoring system for automated production system to fix every trobule easily. In this paper new, inverter control system for TG feedback a formula Control was developed. The motor control system with TG feedback controller as an effect of load disturbance, it is very difficult to guarantee the robustness of Control System. The function of the implementation are TG feedback type, and temperature scheme. The Inverter Control System approach is based on master-slave control concept. To show validity of the developed new inverter control system severial experiments are illustrated.

  • A single-phase inverter using a diode bridge-type resonant circuit to implement ZVT(Zero Voltage Transition) switching is presented. It Is shown that the ZACE(Zero Average Current Error) algorithm based Polarized ramptime current control can provide a suitable interface between DC link of diode bridge-type resonant circuit and the inverter. The current control algorithm is analyzed about how to design the circuit with auxiliary switch which can ZVT operation for the main power switch. The simulation and experimental results would be shown to verify the proposed current algorithm, because the main Power switch is turn on with ZVT and the hi-directional inverter is operated.

  • This paper presents the voltage source type half bridge lossless auxiliary inductor snubber assisted series capacitor compensated resonant high frequency inverter for induction heated fixing roller in copy machines. This high-frequency inverter treated here can completely achieve zero current soft switching (ZCS) commutation for wide power regulation range under its constant frequency pulse density modulation (PDM) scheme. Its transient and steady-state operating principle is originally presented fur a constant frequency PDM control strategy under a ZCS operation commutation, together with its output effective power regulation characteristics-based on the PDM strategy. The experimental operating performances of this ZCS-PDM high frequency inverter using IGBTs are illustrated as compared with computer simulation ones. Its power losses and actual efficiency are evaluated and discussed on the basis of simulation and experimental results.

  • In recent years, The electronic and energy industries demand low power consumption and high efficiency, so under their demands, the white goods industries which are represented for refrigerator and air conditioner system be implemented energy-saving power suppling structure with inverter control system. As inverter control system is different from step control type, when switching system is optimizing temperature control during short period, the inrush plus current can be flown in the circuit. In despite of these characteristics, there is no fuse which can be applied to this type until now. For this reason, we suggest the method of manufacturing protector in the high efficient inverter control system using the alumina-based ceramic radiated heat characteristics and metal films laminated plating. And through the evaluating electrical characteristics, we make a possible to utilize the method when designing overall fuses.

Its power losses analysis and actual efficiency are evaluated and discussed on the basis of simulation and experimental results. The feasible effectiveness of this high frequency inverter appliance implemented here is proved from the practical point of view.

  • Transparent electronics has been one of the key terminologies forecasting the ubiquitous technology era. Several researchers have thus extensively developed transparent oxide-based thin-film transistors (TFTs) on glass and plastic substrates although in general high voltage operating devices have been mainly studied considering transparent display drivers. However, low voltage operating oxide TFTs with transparent electrodes are very necessary if we are aiming at logic circuit applications, for which transparent complementary or one-type channel inverters are required. The most effective and low power consuming inverter should be a form of complementary p-channel and n-channel transistors but real application of those complementary TFT inverters also requires electrical- and even photo-stabilities. Since p-type oxide TFTs have not been developed yet, we previously adopted organic pentacene TFTs for the p-channel while ZnO TFTs were chosen for n-channel on sputter-deposited $AlO_x$ film. As a result, decent inverting behavior was achieved but some electrical gate instability was unavoidable at the ZnO/$AlO_x$ channel interface. Here, considering such gate instability issues we have designed a unique transparent complementary TFT (CTFTs) inverter structure with top n-ZnO channel and bottom p-pentacene channel based on 12 nm-thin nano-oxide/self assembled monolayer laminated dielectric, which has a large dielectric strength comparable to that of thin film amorphous $Al_2O_3$. Our transparent CTFT inverter well operate under 3 V, demonstrating a maximum voltage gain of ~20, good electrical and even photoelectric stabilities. The device transmittance was over 60 % and this type of transparent inverter has never been reported, to the best of our limited knowledge.

  • In this paper, a flux-lock type superconducting fault current limiter(SFCL) integrated with a voltage-controlled voltage source inverter(VC-VSI) is proposed. The suggested equipment, which consists of a flux-lock type SFCL and a VCVSI, can perform the fault current limiting operation from the occurrence of a short-circuit. In addition, it can compensate the reactive power that the non-linear load requires and also perform the uninterruptible power supply(UPS) as well as the load voltage stabilization by controlling the amplitude and the phase of the inverter's output voltage. The specification for a test model was determined and its various functions such as the fault current limiting and the power conditioning operations were presented and analyzed via computer simulation. Through the analytical results based on the computer simulation, the validity of the analysis was confirmed and its multi-operation was discussed.

  • In this paper, a miniaturized band-pass filter structure, which comprises the irises of small resonant aperture and L-type irises inverter, is proposed. Ridged circular aperture iris is chosen as an elementary resonator. L-type iris which is placed between two adjacent elementary resonators is newly proposed as impedance inverter in order to reduce longitudinal length of the proposed filter. The fabricated minimized filter has 400 MHz bandwidth at the 10 GHz center frequency and the whole size is reduced to 70 % in length compared to conventional filter.
