  • The purpose of this paper, using the idea of intuitionistic fuzzy set due to Atanassov [2], we define the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces (see, [1]) due to Kramosil and Michalek [17] and Jungck's common fixed point theorem ([11]) is generalized to intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces. Further, we first formulate the definition of weakly commuting and R-weakly commuting mappings in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces and prove the intuitionistic fuzzy version of Pant's theorem ([21]).

  • We give some properties of intuitionistc fuzzy left, right, and two-sided ideals and bi-ideals of a semigroup. And we characterize a regular semigroup, a semigroup that is a lattice of left(right) simple semigroups, a semigroup that is a semilattice of left(right) groups and a semigroup that is a semilattice of groups in terms of intuitionistic fuzzy ideals and intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals.

  • In this paper, we introduce intuitionistic smooth bitopological spaces and the notions of intuitionistic fuzzy semiinterior and semiclosure. Based on these concepts, the characterizations for the intuitionistic fuzzy pairwise semicontinuous mappings are obtained.

  • There are several kinds of fuzzy set extensions in the fuzzy set theory. Among them, this paper is concerned with interval-valued fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, and bipolar-valued fuzzy sets. In interval-valued fuzzy sets, membership degrees are represented by an interval value that reflects the uncertainty in assigning membership degrees. In intuitionistic fuzzy sets, membership degrees are described with a pair of a membership degree and a nonmembership degree. In bipolar-valued fuzzy sets, membership degrees are specified by the satisfaction degrees to a constraint and its counter-constraint. This paper investigates the similarities and differences among these fuzzy set representations.

  • We introduce a new concept of intuitionistic fuzzy topological subspace, which coincides with the usual concept of intuitionistic fuzzy topological subspace due to Samanta and Mondal [18] in the case that $\mu=X_A$ for A $\subseteq$ X. Also, we introduce and study some concepts such as continuity, separation axioms, compactness and connectedness in this sense.

  • Interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs) is widely used to model uncertainty, imprecise, incomplete and vague information. In this paper, newly defined modal operators over an extensional generalized interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets ($GIVIFS_Bs$) are proposed. Some of the basic properties of the new operators are discussed and few theorems were proved. The actual contribution in this paper is to discuss ten operators on $GIVIFS_Bs$.

  • The notion of intuitionistic fuzzy finite switchboard state machines and (strong) homomorphisms of intuitionistic fuzzy finite state machines are introduced, and related properties are investigated. After we give a congruence relation on the set of all words of elements of X of finite length, the quotient structure is discussed. We show that the family of equivalence classes is a finite semigroup with identity.

  • Park et al. introduced the concept of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets, which can be seen as an effective mathematical tool to deal with uncertainties. In this paper, we introduce new operations such as restricted union and restricted intersection and study their basic properties, and deal with the algebraic structure of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets. The lattice structures of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets are constructed.
