Korean construction companies are now in very difficult situation due to the recent construction accident, opening of domestic market, the advent of boundless competition period in WTO, etc .Introduction of quality management system is quite urgent in order to strengthen our international competitiveness through the superiority of quality and foster the long term growth of organization. Substantially, many companies are proceeding with or completed the introduction of quality management system but small and medium sized construction companies have difficulties due to lack of money and man power. In this paper, five stage procedures, which can be efficiently applied to introduction and operation of qualify management system, have been suggested to help the minor construction companies which want to adopt the quality management system. This study is considered to be helpful for the companies which will introduce quality management system.

Construction companies in Korea have shown interest in BIM (Building Information Modeling) even if late, adopted it, and applied it to several projects. But, it is hard to figure out the status of BIM implementation. Thus, this study is to figure out the status of BIM implementation in Korea by surveying major construction companies in Korea and comparing with similar surveys abroad. The survey result shows that only 11 companies in Korean construction industry adopted BIM. The clash check (73%) was mostly used among various BIM functions and other functions were used less than 30%. As of 2008, only 8 construction companies have used BIM in 27 projects and thus, Korean companies are in the BIM introduction period. Therefore, successful introduction of BIM is required by benchmarking the BIM introduction process of overseas construction industries

It is investigated in this study how the water supply system has been developed in North Korea. Articles published in the Rodong Newspaper (North Korea official newspaper) were mainly reviewed for this purpose. It was found in this study that the development of the water supply system in the North Korea was affected by their socioeconomic situations. Their water supply development was categorized into six groups in this study since the first water supply system built in Pyongyang (1910); Occupation period (1910~1945); Introduction period (1946~1950); Restoration period (1951~1960); Advancement period (1961~1970); New village period (1971~1974); Depression period (1974~).

The influence of the social changes on the food and nutritional status of Korean during the late period of Joseon Kingdom (1800-1910) was analysed by using old literatures and the records of the Westerners visited Korea during the period. The late period of Joseon can be designated the most poor and miserable period in the history of Korea. The people suffered from the corrupted and incompetent government and social disturbances. The main driving forces to reforming the society at that time were 'Silhak' (Practical Learning), introduction of Catholic church and Donghak movement. The food related literatures written in this period in Korea described the life of upper classes (Yangban) and paid little attention to the life of the poor majority. This paper introduces the food availability and habits of Korean observed by the Westerners visited Korea at that time.

The introduction of the BIM into the architectural service industry is currently not being conducted smoothly. The purpose of this research is to, considering the current state of the market, establish long-term strategies that will enable the BIM to successfully settle. The survey has been conducted in target of architects in order to understand pending issues. Additionally, the articles regarding BIM have been researched for the purpose of better understanding the current societal demands. Indicated by survey results, the architects agree to a certain extent upon the need of BIM for architectural designs, yet also express concerns that the BIM introduction does not guarantee betterment in efficiency. The problematic aspects of BIM introduction that have already been discussed in some policy-related studies include a multitude of complicated issues that are unable to be resolved within a short period of time: underdeveloped BIM infra, the limit of BIM software itself, political issues regarding licensing and lack of social awareness. Based on the issues mentioned above, three main areas of focus along with their respective practical strategies and tasks have been designated. Finally, this research has analyzed the current situation and its issues along with the political solutions of 12 projects, amongst which include the standard for plan drawings, licensing system improvement, cost standard and BIM introduction support. The naturalized plants in the Byeonsanbando National Park were listed 88 taxa composed of 24 families, 65 genus, 83 species and 3 varieties and 2 forms by field survey. The naturalized plants divided into pattern by survey of annual plants ratio is 38 taxa (43.2%) by life form spectrum and perennials is 28 taxa (31.8%), biennials is 19 taxa (21.6%), two trees (Robinia pseudoacacia, Ailanthus altissima) and one shrub (Amorpha furticosa) were founded. According to analysis results form place of origin, Europe covered 26 taxa (37.1%), North America covered 23 taxa (32.8%). Naturalized degree 3 plants, as common but not abundant, founded as 28 taxa (31.8%) were hold most highly ratio, naturalized degree 1 plants founded as 8 taxa (9.1%) were hold lowest. Introduction period 1 covered 39 taxa (44.3%) have had highest score and period 2 covered 16 taxa (18.2%) have had lowest scores. In addition, the urbanization index based on 271 taxa was 32.5% and Ambrosia artemisiaefolia is growing by ecosystem disturbing wild plants. Meanwhile, Ambrosia artemisiaefolia have confirmed into district of introduction in the Byeonsanbando National Park were damage the human body of plants develop an allergy to pollen. Therefore, management counterplan of the sequel of monitoring them might be required, introduction into naturalized plants are grasp of ecological characteristics and systematical management plan from this point of time by require.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the adaptation process of male students in colleges of nursing. Method: The data were collected by individual in-depth interview with 12 male students in their final year of nursing and were analyzed using grounded theory methodology. Results: Male nursing students were experienced a process of 'Come into the world again through overcoming gender differences'. 'The adaptation process advanced in 4 stages, 'introduction period' 'shaking period' 'meditation period' and 'adjustment period' Conclusion: Specific strategies should be developed to aid the adaptation of male students in colleges of nursing.

This study is the analysis of the concepts and the characteristics of the mathematics section of the College Scholastic Ability Test. The study starts with division of the history of the College Scholastic Ability Test into four periods. These are Introduction Period(school year 1994-1996), Adjustment Period(school year 1997-2004), Development Period(school year 2005-2011) and Conversion Period(up to present since school year 2012). The periodical division of the Mathematics section is considered as identical with that of the College Scholastic Ability Test. So we investigate the characteristics of the Mathematics section through the periodical classification. This study also proposes some tasks for the future Mathematics section of the College Scholastic Ability Test.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the changing process of work activities of community health practitioners in medically vulnerable areas. Methods: For the study an historical research method was used, based on literature data and collected literature data related to the work of community health practitioners from 1940 to 2013. Results: There were 45 records according to the literature data about the work activities of the practitioners. Analysis of the process of work activities by time period was based on the historical records: first, the introduction period (1940~1980) saw the "community health practitioners begin their work activities"; second, the development period (1981~1997) involved "provision of comprehensive health and medical service"; third, the stagnation period (1998~2005) characterized by "attempts at new role changes in a crisis"; fourth, the expansion period (2006~2011) "focused on the work of health promotion"; and finally, the stable period (2012~the present) observed "work activities of community health practitioners recognized." Conclusion: Results showed five topics in the process of work activities of community health practitioners by time period. The results offer basic data to investigate work activities of these practitioners and enable discussions about the future of community healthcare.
