  • 21century world is changing by leaps and bounds and this among one of new issue ready front environment be. Specially, the human social economy enemy, current of change is already happening even if there is in traffic industry that back activity. That is, point that railroad has competitive power and comparative advantage than other transportation until transportation system construction that is environment-friendly as part of country comparative power strengthening is embossed newly. On this time, railroad reached time that environment management that it is applied that is environment-Paradigm over management whole as well as field of technology such as construction and rolling stocks is necessary. This paper wishes to grope plan that introduce this in railroading hereafter by examining necessity introduction in railway operation through environment marketing example.   • The traditional economic evaluation methods do not seem to consider derivative efforts-productivity improvement, quality improvement.-which may be occured by AMS introduction. Current evaluation methods are based on mass production with known characteristic and stable technology. Recently, expert suggest that these assumption-stable production and mass production-are realized to be a limited in substantial economic evaluation analysis. Therefore, the problem of traditional evaluation methods suggested in this thesis and decision in the case studies are derived using two complementary economic analysis methods-AHP method, modified economic evaluation model- and traditional evaluation method. After three methods are compared and evaluated in the view of practical economic evaluation, AHP method is intended to be introduced as a new economic evaluation method.

Versatilities of Calix[4]pyrrole Based Anion Receptors

  • Calixpyrroles and related macrocycles are non-planer synthetic anion receptors that have attracted considerable attentions in recent years. Although the synthesis of calix[4]pyrrole (known as meso-octamethylporphyrinogen) was reported more than 100 years ago, the anion binding properties were first discovered in 1996. The simple calix[4]pyrroles can be synthesized in single step in high yield by condensation of pyrrole with acetone. The compounds showed preferential binding for halide anions including fluoride, phosphate, carboxylate, and chloride in organic media. Efforts to improve the anion affinity of calix[4]pyrrole and to enhance its selectivity have led to the synthesis of a variety of new calixpyrrole derivatives. Among the various modifications, introduction of straps on one side of the calix[4]pyrroles are the most effective. Incorporation of aromatic rings other than pyrroles also exhibited interesting binding behaviour. Introduction of signalling units as part of the strapping element enable to detect the anions on chromogenic or fluorogenic fashion. Finding of the anion transport properties across the membrane and cytotoxic effects of the calix[4]pyrroles open new window for calixpyrrole-related research. The polymer-incorporated systems have also been employed as anion complexants in solvent-solvent extraction. These old, yet easy-to-make macrocycles have well advanced more recently with the discovery of the ion-pair complexation properties. In this review, the synthetic developments and anion binding properties of calixpyrroles for the last decades will be discussed and will cover the advances in calixpyrrole chemistry.

원양어선 안전관리체제 도입에 관한 기초 연구 (A basic study on the introduction of safety management system for the deep-sea fishing vessel in Korea)

  • The analysis on the international safety management code (ISM Code) and case of foreign national safety management for fishing vessel was conducted to serve as a basic data on the introduction of safety management system (SMS) for a deep-sea fishing vessel in Korea. As a result, Maritime New Zealand (MNZ) has managed operations of SMS in the maritime rules according to the Maritime Transport Act since 1994. MNZ underwent a safe ship management (SSM), which includes elements applied to shipping companies, ship and verification of the ISM Code for ships, except ISM Code application since 1998. In 2014 the introduction of the advanced maritime operator safety system (MOSS) superior to the SSM by MNZ was promoted actively switch and enforcement. Meanwhile, the safe operation manual of Japanese fishing vessel includes large part of the contents of the ISM Code, and voluntary implementation to fit the realities of the fishing vessel. The law application of SMS for a deep-sea fishing vessel after the newly establishment of the Ocean Industry Development Act to SMS would be advantageous to the schematic management, supervision, maintenance and application and, in 2016 from the implementation of maritime safety supervisor for a deep-sea fishing vessel that the management and supervision through the fishing vessel will be the efficient operation. The configuration of the safety management system in a deep-sea fishing vessel should be included as an element of ISM Code. The introduction of such a system is gradually applicable, such as nationality overseas vessel case study of the ISM Code, and vessels that are excluded from the application will be implemented as autonomous as Japan. The results are expected to contribute to sustainable development in the ocean industry safety culture spread throughout the ocean industry through the enhancement of safety fishing competency and safety management responsibility of fisher.

A new design method for site-joints of the tower crane mast by non-linear FEM analysis

  • Among the themes related to earthquake countermeasures at construction sites, those for tower cranes are particularly important. An accident involving the collapse of a crane during the construction of a skyscraper has serious consequences, such as human injury or death, enormous repair costs, and significant delays in construction. One of the causes of deadly tower crane collapses is the destruction of the site joints of the tower crane mast. This paper proposes a new design method by static elastoplastic finite element analysis using a supercomputer for the design of the end plate-type tensile bolted joints, which are generally applied to the site joints of a tower crane mast. This new design method not only enables highly accurate and reliable joint design but also allows for a design that considers construction conditions, such as the introduction of a pre-tension axial force on the bolts. By applying this new design method, the earthquake resistance of tower cranes will undoubtedly be improved.

  • 자율주행차는 4차 산업혁명 시대를 대표하는 주요 서비스로 주목 받고 있다. 5G 통신망, 인공지능과, 사물인터넷 및 센서 기술을 바탕으로 자율주행차는 진화 중이고 최종적으로 운전자의 조작이 필요 없는 완전 자동화 단계까지 발전할 것으로 에상된다. 자율주행차 환경에서 운전자는 새롭게 제공되는 유휴 시간을 개인적인 공간에서 사용할 수 있게 된다. 이러한 시간과 공간을 차지하기 위해 이미 여러 영역에서 경쟁이 시작되었고 미디어 산업도 큰 변화를 예상하고 있다. 이 논문은 전문가 심층 인터뷰를 통해서 자율주행차가 미디어 산업에 미칠 영향과 사회적 제도적 쟁점을 살펴보았다. 콘텐츠 제공자로서 미디어 산업에게 자율주행차는 새로운 기회이며 자율주행차의 인포테인먼트 영역의 주도권을 두고 통신사업자와 IT 기업과도 치열한 경쟁이 예상된다. 개인정보 보호 및 자율주행차 도입을 위한 기존의 차량 운행관련 제도 개선도 중요한 과제로 지적되었다.

  • A variety of Generation III/III+ water-cooled reactor designs featuring enhanced safety and improved economics are being proposed by nuclear power industries around the world in efforts to solve the future energy supply shortfall. Thermal-hydraulics is recognized as a key scientific subject in the development of innovative reactor systems. Phase change by boiling and condensation in the reverse process is a highly efficient heat transport mechanism that accommodates large heat fluxes with relatively small driving temperature differences. This mode of heat transfer is encountered in a wide spectrum of nuclear systems,and thus it is necessary to determine the thermal limit of water-cooled nuclear energy conversion in terms of economic and safety. Such applications are being advanced with the introduction of new technologies such as nanotechnology. Here, we investigated newly-introduced nanotechnologies relevant to boiling and condensation in general engineering applications. We also evaluated the potential linkage between such new advancements and nuclear applications in terms of advanced nuclear thermal-hydraulics.

  • The telecommunications-based information technology and the provision of electronic commerce are broadening possibility of the virtual enterprise. The purpose of this paper is to enhance academic and practical understanding virtual enterprise as one of the most promising new concepts in electronic commerce area. I strive to establish the concept of virtual enterprise as a strategic source of competitive advantage in small & medium business. I analyze several new trends and concepts in strategic business area which will eventually lead small & medium business to the virtual enterprise. It has great potential benefits for small & medium businesses which are placed in difficult circumstances. They must build IT infrastructure and make use of co-sourcing for the utilization of virtual enterprise. This paper also suggests the strategic methods which enable the conventional enterprise to introduce the virtual enterprise.

Effects of Smart Reading in the Elementary English Classroom

  • The Purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the Smart reading program, Smartree, in an elementary English class. Recently in Korea, the use of smart technologies in education has become an issue with the introduction of a new educational platform and increased social interaction between teachers and students. The Smart learning paradigm is converging with technology and social learning. This study examines an English reading method using smart technology and how it affects the improvement of elementary students' reading ability, we also suggest effective reading methods related to Smart learning suitable for this new educational trend. The results showed that the use of a tablet PC based Smartree reading program had meaningful effects on both improvements of cognitive reading ability and changes in affective attitude.

  • 최근 개발 도입되고 있는 첨단항해계기와 관련된 새로운 기술, 관련 국제기준과 세계주요해양대학의 항해계기 관련 교육현황을 분석하였다. 그리고, 분석결과를 바탕으로 새로운 전자항해교육을 위한 교과목의 세부 요목을 제시하였다. 이것은 시대적 흐름을 반영한 해기교육과정의 편성과 해기면허시험의 세부요목을 설정하는데 참고 자료로서 충분히 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
