파라미터의 변경에 따라 나선형 전산화 단층 촬영의 체적 변화 (Volume Change of Spiral Computed Tomography due to the Changed in the Parameters)

  • 본 논문에서는 피폭선량 절감을 위해 기존의 선량보다 낮은 선량으로 CT검사를 했을 경우에 병변의 유무를 충분히 가릴 수 있는지 scan parameter(절편두께, Helical Pitch)와 3차원으로 영상재구성시 threshold값의 설정에 따른 영상의 변화정도를 3차원 영상화를 통하여 시료의 체적 변화를 알아보고, 피폭선량절감을 위한 CT에서 허용 가능한 scan parameter를 찾고자 연구를 시도하였다. 실험방법으로는 실리콘을 이용하여 시료를 제작하였으며, 이때 시료의 크기는 직경이 50, 40, 30, 20, 10mm로 10mm 간격으로 5개의 구형 모형을 제작하였고, 5개의 시료를 관전압, 관전류를 각각 120Kvp, 50mA로 고정하고, 단면두께(1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 5.0, 7.0mm), Helical Pitch(1.5, 2.0, 3.0)를 각각 변화시켜 Scan 하고 영상 간의 interval은 (1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 5.0, 7.0mm)로 구성하여, 영상을 workstation으로 전송하고, Volume Rendering Technique를 사용하여 threshold(-200,-50,50 ~1,000) 값을 변화시키면서 3차원 영상으로 재구성하고, 시료의 체적을 측정하였다. 실험결과 Helical pitch가 1.5일 때 체적변화가 가장 적었고, Helical pitch가 3.0일 때 체적변화가 가장 많이 감소하였으며, 절편두께가 증가할수록 시료의 체적도 실측치보다 감소한다는 것을 실험을 통해 확인 할 수 있었다. 또한 3차원 영상재구성시 threshold 범위를 -200~1,000으로 설정한 경우, 시료의 체적의 변화가 가장 적은 것으로 나타났다.

  • Recently, 18F-FDG PET based CT scan was a critical examination that the after, before plan diagnosis and treatment of tumors. But, due to the distortion of SUV that should be proportional to the metabolic rate of glucose in the tumor, the other measurement methods are being on study. In this study, compared the degree of distortion of SUV that according to the volume of the tumor analysis ROI and VOI using the NEMA IEC Phantom. The results, the SUVmax, mean value are rapidly decreased with threshold value 500 mm2 interval of the ROI analysis, 1500 mm3 interval of the VOI analysis. When compared SUVmax value SUVmean, ROI and VOI analysis VOI measurements was 1.077 times higher SUVmax was 0.981 times highe compared to the value of the ROI measurement. Compare MTV, SUV 2.0 as measured by the volume of the VOI to Volume showed a slightly higher results(Volume / MTV = $93.4 %{\pm}14.8 %$). Considering the above results, Tumor evaluation by 18F-FDG PET / CT scan Consider each threshold value should be analyzed due to larger SUV's Distortion depending on the size of the tumor. VOI analysis is recommended. because it showed the VOI analysis is higher than the ROI analysis SUVmax and lower SUVmean due to VOI analysis than once as a measure of the wider area as measured ROI analysis. MTV (R2 = 0.999), a result close to the actual size of the tumor. but, more research is needed in this regard, because SUV according to the standards of value are affected.

Radiation-Induced Intratumoral Necrosis and Peritumoral Edema after Gamma Knife Radiosurgery for Intracranial Meningiomas

  • Objective : To study the clinical significance and relevant factors of radiation-induced intratumoral necrosis (RIN) and peritumoral edema (PTE) after Gamma knife radiosurgery (GKRS) for intracranial meningiomas. Methods : We retrospectively analyzed the data of 64 patients who underwent GKRS for intracranial meningioma. The mean lesion volume was 4.9 cc (range, 0.3-20), and the mean prescription dose of 13.4 Gy (range, 11-18) was delivered to the mean 49.9% (range, 45-50) isodose line. RIN was defined as newly developed or enlarged intratumoral necrosis after GKRS. Results : RIN and new development or aggravation of PTE were observed in 21 (32.8%) and 18 (28.1%) cases of meningioma, respectively during the median follow-up duration of $19.9{\pm}1.0$ months. Among various factors, maximum dose (>25 Gy) and target volume (>4.5 cc) were significantly related to RIN, and RIN and maximum dose (>24 Gy) were significantly related to the development or aggravation of PTE. In 21 meningiomas with development of RIN after GKRS, there was no significant change of the tumor volume itself between the times of GKRS and RIN. However, the PTE volume increased significantly compared to that at the time of GKRS (p=0.013). The median interval to RIN after GKRS was $6.5{\pm}0.4$ months and the median interval to new or aggravated PTE was $7.0{\pm}0.7$ months. Conclusion : A close observation is required for meningiomas treated with a maximum dose >24 Gy and showing RIN after GKRS, since following or accompanying PTE may deteriorate neurological conditions especially when the location involves adjacent critical structures.

다중접근을 허용하는 3차원 메모리 시스템 (A 3D Memory System Allowing Multi-Access)

  • 본 논문에서는 임의의 좌표를 기준으로 17가지 접근방식을 지원하는 3차원 메모리 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 메모리 시스템은 메모리 모듈 할당 함수와 주소 할당 함수를 토대로 선 접근방식 13가지, 사각형 접근방식 3가지, 육면체 접근방식 1가지 등 모두 17가지 접근방식을 제공한다. 즉, 임의의 좌표에서 임의의 간격을 갖고 17가지 접근방식 중 어떠한 접근방식 내에서도 다수개의 데이타에 동시접근하는 기능을 제공한다. 이를 위해 제안하는 메모리 시스템은 메모리 모듈 선택 회로, 읽기/쓰기를 위한 데이타 라우팅 회로, 주소 계산 및 라우팅 회로들로 구성된다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 메모리 시스템은 응용 프로그램에 따라 쉽게 확장될 수 있으며, 메모리 시스템에 저장된 데이타를 개발자와 프로그래머가 논리적인 3차원 배열로 간주하여 처리할 수 있도록 데이타의 하드웨어 독립성을 지원한다 또한 제안한 메모리 시스템은 다양한 접근방식 내의 다수개의 데이타에 동시접근 할 수 있기 때문에 볼륨 렌더링이나 볼륨 클리핑 등과 같은 다양한 3차원 응용 분야 및 다중해상도를 지원하는 프레임 버퍼를 위한 시스템 구조의 메모리 시스템으로써 적합하다.

시계열 분석 기반 신뢰구간 추정을 활용한 항만 물동량 이상감지 방안 (Port Volume Anomaly Detection Using Confidence Interval Estimation Based on Time Series Analysis)

  • 부산항의 부두 장치율은 지난 3년동안 지속적으로 상승하였다. 부두 장치율 상승은 컨테이너 재조작을 야기하여 부두 노동자의 업무 강도를 증가시킨다. 또한, 장치율 상승이 장기화될 경우 선주의 대기시간을 증가시켜 항만의 서비스 수준이 하락할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 부두 장치율 상승 문제를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 수요예측치의 신뢰구간 추정을 활용한 항만 물동량 이상감지 방안을 제안하였다. 수요예측 방법론은 ARIMA 모형을 사용하였으며 실증 분석을 위해 사용된 자료는 2013년 1월 1일부터 2020년 10월 12일까지 총 2841일 동안의 부산항 전체 일별 물동량 자료 및 9개 부두의 일별 물동량 자료이다. 기존에 항만 물동량을 예측하는 대부분의 연구는 주로 장기 예측에 초점을 맞추었다. 일별, 부두별 부산항 물동량 자료를 활용하여 단기 물동량을 예측하고 예측치를 기반으로 부두 장치율 관리 방안을 제시한 본 연구는 충분한 가치가 있다고 판단된다.

동시 소성된 저항/저온 동시 소성 세라믹(LTCC) 이중층의 캠버에 영향을 미치는 인자 (Factors Influencing the Camber of Cofired Resistor/Low Temperature Cofired Ceramics (LTCC) Bi-Layers)

  • The sintering shrinkage behaviors of low temperature cofired ceramics (LTCC) and resistors were compared using commercial LTCC and thick-film resistor pastes, and factors influencing the camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers were also investigated. The onset of sintering shrinkage of the resistor occurred earlier than that of LTCC in all resistors, but the end of sintering shrinkage of the resistor occurred earlier or later than that of LTCC depending on the composition of the resistor. The sintering shrinkage end temperature and the sintering shrinkage temperature interval of the resistor increased as the RuO2/glass volume ratio of the resistor increased. The camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers was obtained using three different methods, all of which showed nearly identical trends. The camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers was not affected by either the difference in linear shrinkage strain after sintering between LTCC and resistors or the similarity of sintering shrinkage temperature ranges of LTCC and resistors. However, it was strongly affected by the RuO2/glass volume ratio of the resistor. The content of Ag and Pd had no effect on the sintering shrinkage end temperature or sintering shrinkage temperature interval of the resistor, or on the camber of cofired resistor/LTCC bi-layers.

Rotator cuff retear after repair surgery: comparison between experienced and inexperienced surgeons

  • Background: We hypothesized in this study that the characteristics of retear cases vary according to surgeon volume and that surgical outcomes differ between primary and revision arthroscopic rotator cuff repair (revisional ARCR). Methods: Surgeons performing more than 12 rotator cuff repairs (RCRs) per year were defined as high-volume surgeons, and those performing fewer than 12 RCRs were considered low-volume surgeons. Of the 47 patients who underwent revisional ARCR at our clinic enrolled in this study, 21 cases were treated by high-volume surgeons and 26 cases by low-volume surgeons. In all cases, the interval between primary surgery and revisional ARCR, degree of "acromial scuffing," number of anchors, RCR technique, retear pattern, fatty infiltration, retear size, operating time, and clinical outcome were recorded. Results: During primary surgery, significantly more lateral anchors (p=0.004) were used, and the rate of use of the double-row repair technique was significantly higher (p<0.001) in the high- versus low-volume surgeon group. Moreover, the "cut-through pattern" was observed significantly more frequently among the cases treated by high- versus low-volume surgeons (p=0.008). The clinical outcomes after revisional ARCR were not different between the two groups. Conclusions: Double-row repair during primary surgery and the cut-through pattern during revisional ARCR were more frequent in the high- versus low-volume surgeon groups. However, no differences in retear site or size, fatty infiltration grade, or outcomes were observed between the groups.

  • Semi-transparent volume rendering technique can provide 3-D visualization well by voxel level Processing and alleviate segmentation arf, ifacts compared wish the surface rendering technique. In this Paper, we consider several new schemes which can improve she Perform ance of volume rendering. A directional interpolation method is proposed to reduce the artifact due to the anisotrophic resolution in X-ray CT data. The computation time for rendering is shortened by using the depth information of the 3-D object. And also, we reduce the quantization artifacts in the rendering by introducing the opacity-dependent sampling interval to sampling in ray-tracing.

DGPS 음향 측심기를 이용한 농업용 저수지의 퇴적량 산정 (Calculation of Sediment Volume of the Agriculture Reservoir Using DGPS Echo-Sounder)

  • 본 연구는 예당저수지의 합리적인 유지와 준설사업의 기초자료를 확보하기 위하여 수행하였다. 퇴적량 산정을 위한 내용적 측량을 DGPS 음향 측심기를 이용하여 2004년 11월 $25\~30$일간 수행하였다. 인공위성으로부터 위도와 경도신호는 1 초 간격으로 UTM 좌표 계로 수신하였다. 수심 값은 0.2초 간격으로 MIDAS Surveyor에 있는 Eecho sounder sensor 로 측정하였다 Arc Info GIS 프로그램을 사용하여 우리나라 좌표계인 TM좌표로 변환하였다. 등수심선도 작성은 Sufer, Arc View와 Auto CAD Program을 사용하였다. 저수지 용량은 평균등고선면적법으로 산정하였다. 예당저수지의 유효저수량을 결정하기 위한 이번 조사의 결과는 4,601.6ha-m로 기왕의 유효저수량보다 약 5.425ha-m정도 퇴적된 것으로 파악되었다.

Multiple Gamma Knife Radiosurgery for Multiple Metachronous Brain Metastases Associated with Lung Cancer : Survival Time

  • Objective : We compared the survival time between patients with multiple gamma knife radiosurgery (GKRS) and patients with a single GKRS plus whole brain radiation therapy (WBRT), in patients with multiple metachronous brain metastases from lung cancer. Methods : From May 2006 to July 2010, we analyzed 31 patients out of 112 patients who showed multiple metachronous brain metastases. 20 out of 31 patients underwent multiple GKRS (group A) and 11 patients underwent a single GKRS plus WBRT (group B). We compared the survival time between group A and B. Kaplan-Meier method and Cox proportional hazards were used to analyze relationship between survival and 1) the number of lesions in each patient, 2) the average volume of lesions in each patient, 3) the number of repeated GKRS, and 4) the interval of development of new lesions, respectively. Results : Median survival time was 18 months (range 6-50 months) in group A and 6 months (range 3-18 months) in group B. Only the average volume of individual lesion (over 10 cc) was negatively related with survival time according to Kaplan-Meier method. Cox-proportional hazard ratio of each variable was 1.1559 for the number of lesions, 1.0005 for the average volume of lesions, 0.0894 for the numbers of repeated GKRS, and 0.5970 for the interval of development of new lesions. Conclusion : This study showed extended survival time in group A compared with group B. Our result supports that multiple GKRS is of value in extending the survival time in patients with multiple metachronous brain metastases, and that the number of the lesions and the frequency of development of new lesions are not an obstacle in treating patients with GKRS.
