Purpose: To evaluate the effects of case management using Resident Assessment Instrument-Home Care(RAI-HC) in home health service for older people. Methods: All elders were assessed at baseline and 3 months later using RAI-HC. The change of function in the intervention group was compared with that of a conventional intervention group. Function was measured with Activities of Daily Living(ADL), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living(IADL), Cognitive Performance Scale(CPS), Depression Rating Scale(DRS), Pain and the number of Clinical Assessment Protocols(CAP). Results: Among ninety two elders participated in the program, 59 were allocated to the case management group and 33 to the conventional group. The intervention, home health service by a nurse over a 3 month period, consisted of comprehensive assessment, case conference for care plan, direct care, education and referral, and outcome evaluation. The percent of elders whose function improved in the intervention group was greater than the conventional group for depression(odds ratio [OR]: 10.941, confidence interval [CI]: 2.338-51.206), IADL(OR: 4.423, CI: 1.151-16.999) and the number of CAP(OR: 11.443, CI: 3.805-34.410). Conclusion: Case management was effective for older people in the community. The effect might have resulted from individual, systematic intervention, however, standards of service including eligibility criteria for case management and collaboration of multi-disciplines is required for more effective home health service programs.
Let C[0, t] denote a generalized Wiener space, the space of real-valued continuous functions on the interval [0, t] and define a random vector $Z_n:C[0,t]{\rightarrow}{\mathbb{R}}^n$ by $Zn(x)=(\int_{0}^{t_1}h(s)dx(s),{\cdots},\int_{0}^{t_n}h(s)dx(s))$, where 0 < $t_1$ < ${\cdots}$ < $t_n$ < t is a partition of [0, t] and $h{\in}L_2[0,t]$ with $h{\neq}0$ a.e. In this paper we will introduce a simple formula for a generalized conditional Wiener integral on C[0, t] with the conditioning function $Z_n$ and then evaluate the generalized analytic conditional Wiener and Feynman integrals of the cylinder function $F(x)=f(\int_{0}^{t}e(s)dx(s))$ for $x{\in}C[0,t]$, where $f{\in}L_p(\mathbb{R})(1{\leq}p{\leq}{\infty})$ and e is a unit element in $L_2[0,t]$. Finally we express the generalized analytic conditional Feynman integral of F as two kinds of limits of non-conditional generalized Wiener integrals of polygonal functions and of cylinder functions using a change of scale transformation for which a normal density is the kernel. The choice of a complete orthonormal subset of $L_2[0,t]$ used in the transformation is independent of e and the conditioning function $Z_n$ does not contain the present positions of the generalized Wiener paths.
Purpose: This study was to examine the effect of a taping therapy on pain relief and the improvement of daily living for elderly having degenerative knee arthritis. Method: This study was conducted with a non-equivalent control-group pre-test and post-test design. Data were collected conveniently with 63 elderly who had having(a) pain due to degenerative knee arthritis, and (b) inconvenience in daily life(30 for an experimental group and 33 for a control group). The subjects were recruited from the elderly, participating in welfare programs held in a welfare organization and day-care facilities. The experimental group received an intervention of taping therapy offered twice a week, for 4 weeks. The data collection from the experimental group was done from the beginning of the therapy throughout two weeks later after the end of the therapy. Results: For the experimental group, pain scores came to more decreased significantly, as the periods in which taping therapy was conducted were getting longer. Physical function scores became also more decreased at significantly level, as taping therapy was more conducted. However, compared to the control group, the score change for the experimental was not significantly showed in physical function after the therapy ended. That is, there was no longer-lasting effect on physical function improvement. Conclusion: This study found that this therapy could be a useful self-management method that the elderly with degenerative knee arthritis can use easily at home. Because of insignificant result in longer-lasting effect, this taping therapy would be applied properly with the interval of 2~3days.
When interpreting change over time in forest ecosystems, distinguishing the effects of forest succession from the effects of environmental stress can be difficult. The result may be a simplistic interpretation. citing a specific successional or environmental cause of forest change when both types may be occurring. We present two case studies of changes in the forest floor in northern hardwoods. First, the belief that 50% of soil organic matter is lost in the first 20 years after logging was based on a study comparing northern hardwood stands of different ages. We resampled a series of 13 such stands after an interval of 15 years, and found that the young stands were not, in fact. losing organic matter as rapidly as predicted from the original chronosequence study. The pattern of higher organic matter content in the forest floors of older stands compared to young stands could be equally well explained by changes in logging practices over the last century as by the aging of the stand. The observed pattern of forest floor organic matter as a function of stand age was previously interpreted as a successional pattern, ignoring changes in treatment history. In the second case study, observed losses of base cations from the forest floor were attributed to cation depletion caused by acid rain and declining calcium deposition. We found that young stands were gaining base cations in the forest floor; losses of base cations were restricted to older stands. Differences in litter chemistry in stands of different ages may explain some of the pattern in cation gains and losses. In this case, the contribution of successional processes to cation loss had been overlooked in favor of environmental stress as the dominant mechanism behind the observed changes. Studies of environmental stress use repeated measures over time. but often don't consider stand age as a factor. Studies of successional change often assume that environmental factors remain constant. We were able to consider both forest succession and external factors because we repeatedly sampled stands of different ages.
Several factors can affect the formation of bone tissues surrounding implants. One of the factors is electrical stimulation. It is known to change the movement of cells, form and destroy cells, and alter concentration and chemical component of soft tissues and bones. The effect of electrical stimulation on bone formation can vary according to the intensity of electric currents, stimulating time, the method of sending electric currents, and tissues and cells currents are applied to. This study examines how various enviroments affect osteoblasts. (1) effect on osteoblast with varying intensity of currents Osteoblast-like cells were raised on four plates where implants can be placed. A constant current sink (MC3T3-E1) that can adjust the intensity and stimulating time of electric currents was used. The four plates were stimulated with $0{\mu}A$, $10{\mu}A$, $20{\mu}A$, and $40{\mu}A$, respectively. After 24 hours of stimulation, the number and distribution of cells surrounding implants were examined. (2) effect on osteoblast with varying conditions The 3 study was performed with same method. (1) The change of attached cell number 72-hour after application of various currents (2) The change of attached cell number 72-hour after application of various interval (3) The comparison of attached cell number by implant surface texture The following are the results: 1. The distribution and density of cells surrounding implant is highest under the intensity of electric currents of $20{\mu}A$. 2. The number of cells attached implants is highest under the intensity of electric currents of $20{\mu}A$. 3. The number of cells attached implants is highest under continous electric currents 4. The number of cells attached implants is not different by implant surface texture.

논문은 IEEE 표준인 SCI(Scalable Coherent Interface)에 근거한 degree 2의 ICR(Interleaved Cyclic Ring) 네트워크의 신뢰도를 연구하였고 대표적인 링 네트워크들과 비교하였다.
This study applied the parametric bootstrapping method to analyze whether there was a change in the production efficiency of institutions under Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. This study used input and output oriented productivity simultaneously. In particular, the productivity was estimated through 95% confidence interval derived by 2000 times re-sampling process. The results of the study showed us a reduction in overall total factor productivity by 24% between 2009 and 2013, and 7% of decreases in productivity annually. A recent conditions of an external economic shocks brought a 28% downward shift of production function. In this study, public institutions were divided into three types, which were public, quasi-government, and other public institutions. There were approximately 13%, 1%, and 5% decreases in total factor productivity per each. In analyzing the productivity each of 14 institutions, approximately DMU4 and DMU6 had 4%, and 5% increases in productivity per each. While DMU14 showed us no changes in productivity, all of the other 10 DMUs were estimated the decreases in productivities.

There are many researches showing that when a process change has occurred, variable sampling intervals (VSI) control chart is better than the fixed sampling interval (FSI) control chart in terms of reducing the required time to signal. When the process engineers use VSI control procedure, frequent switching between different sampling intervals can be a complicating factor. However, average number of samples to signal (ANSS), which is the amount of required samples to signal, and average time to signal (ATS) do not provide any control statistics about switching performances of VSI charts. In this study, we evaluate numerical switching performances of multivariate VSI EWMA chart including average number of switches to signal (ANSW) and average switching rate (ASWR). In addition, numerical study has been carried out to examine how to improve the performance of considered chart with accumulate-combine approach under several different smoothing constant and sample size. In conclusion, process engineers, who want to manage the correlation coefficients of related quality variables, are recommended to make sample size as large and smoothing constant as small as possible under permission of process conditions.

Differential power analysis (DPA) is disturbed by ghost peaks. There is a phenomenon that the mean absolute difference (MAD) value of the wrong key is higher than the correct key. We propose a compressed key guessing space (CKGS) scheme to solve this problem and analyze the AES algorithm. The DPA based on this scheme is named CKGS-DPA. Unlike traditional DPA, the CKGS-DPA uses two power leakage points for a combined attack. The first power leakage point is used to determine the key candidate interval, and the second is used for the final attack. First, we study the law of MAD values distribution when the attack point is AddRoundKey and explain why this point is not suitable for DPA. According to this law, we modify the selection function to change the distribution of MAD values. Then a key-related value screening algorithm is proposed to obtain key information. Finally, we construct two key candidate intervals of size 16 and reduce the key guessing space of the SubBytes attack from 256 to 32. Simulation experimental results show that CKGS-DPA reduces the power traces demand by 25% compared with DPA. Experiments performed on the ASCAD dataset show that CKGS-DPA reduces the power traces demand by at least 41% compared with DPA.
