  • 모든 인간은 다른 사람과의 관계를 떠나서는 존재할 수 없다. 한 개인에 있어서 생존하기 위하여는 신체적 또는 정신적인 힘이 필요하며, 대인관계에서도 힘이 작용한다. 한 개인에 있어서나 대인관계에 있어서 자신의 생존에 효과적으로 작용하는 힘을 긍정적인 힘(positive power)'이라고 하고, 자신의 생존에 부정적으로 작용하는 힘을 '부정적인 힘(negative power)'이라고 정의할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 '긍정적인 힘' 중에서 '신뢰'에 대하여 고전들에서 어떠한 교훈이 있나를 살펴보고, 이를 일상생활에서의 중요성과 함께 통괄시켜 보았다. 대인관계에서 '서로 믿을 수 있는 태도'를 갖추기 위하여는 '말'을 조심스럽게 한다는 것이 필수적인 조건이며, 이것은 자신의 생각이나 감정에 대한 깊은 성찰을 통하여 가능해진다. 또한 성찰은 고전에 기술된 교훈을 통하여 이루어질 수 있다.

Social Capital in Mangrove Management: A Case Study in Lampung Province, Indonesia

  • The objective of this study is to identify the individual characteristics and the elements of social capital hence a suitable design of social capital reinforcement can be proposed to promote a sustainable community-based mangrove management. The research conducted in three villages that were selected based on mangrove ecological differences in Lampung Province, Indonesia. Qualitative data was collected through field observation and in-depth interviews with key informants. The results showed that the population in the three villages dominated on productive ages, worked as farmers, and less educated (only a half of the population had fulfilled the basic education standard of Indonesia). The study results also indicated that the social capital in the communities showed minimum condition of interpersonal attachment and cooperation. This condition was derived from the attitude of the people who only took personal benefit without concerning to others' welfare. Many programs conducted by government to ensure the conservation of mangroves were project-oriented with minor participation of community. The minor participation might also contributed to the minimum of social capital in the community. To improve social capital, the communities should strengthen mutual trust based on mutual benefit to increase members' participation in mangrove activity.

Social Support의 한국적 의미 (Search for the Meaning of Social Support in Korean Society)

  • In Korea the concept of social support was first used as a research concept in nursing and has not had much application in the clinical field. Another problem is that research on social support has used a direct translation of the words “social support” into Korean as “sawhejuk jiji”. Three questions were posed to direct the re-search. 1) Is there a concept of social support in Korean society? 2) if so, what words or expressions are used to de-scribe it? 3) further, if so, how is social support structured and how does it function? In order to answer the research questions a three-step research methodology was used : The first step consisted of a literature review on re-search related to social support and on information on the background of, and the way of thinking re-lated to interpersonal relations among Korean people. The second step, which was done to identify whether there is a concept of social support in korean society, involved interviewing a sample of the population. The third step involved a panel discussion that included the members of the research team and three consultants, a sociologist, a philosopher and a scholor in korean literature. A review of the literature on interpersonal relationships in traditional korean society identified a four cirole structure that explains interpersonal relationships. The first circle with “me” at the center is the family but here “me” disappears into the “we” that is essential for a cooperative agricultural society. In the second circle are those close to “me” but outside the family. The third circle includes those with whom “I ” have infrequent but regular contact and with whom correct conduct is important. The last circle is all the people with whom “I” have nothing in common. They are excluded in interpersonal relationships. The literature on interpersonal relationships showed that within the traditional Korean society people lived in villages where most people were very familiar with each other. “Yun”, the social network established the connection and “Jung”, the feeling of affection increased with time as the connection was strengthened. In the traditional village psychological support was provided through “Mallaniki”, “Pumashi” and “Kae” with the latter two also providing material support. In modern Korea there are more informal and formal social networks, like social services and community activities on the formal level and cultural and leisure groups along with “kae’s on the informal level. But even with this modern variety of groups, most social support comes from informal networks that resemble the traditiorlal “Pumashi”, “Kai” md “Mallaniki”. The six member research team interviewed 65 people in order to identify whether there is a concept of social support and then analysed their responses. There were 20 different words describing the reception of the social support and these could be grouped into seven major categories : virtuous, fortunate, helped, supported, blessed, attached(receiving affection) and receiving (grace) benevolence. there were 27 words describing the act of social support which could be categorized into seven major categories : love, looking after, affection(attachment), kindness(goodness), faith, psychological help and material help. for the meaning of social support translated as “sawhe juk jiji” there were a total of 14 different answers which could be categorized into 3 major categories : help, agreement, and faith. In third step, the results of the literature review and the answers to the questions were discussed in a pannel. The results of the discussion led to the following definition of social support in Korea which is shaped like a the four sided pyramid on a base. Social support is the apex of the pyramid and four sides are made up of : “do-oom” (both emotional and material help), “jung” (connectedness, or relationship bound by affection, regard or shared common experience ), “midum” (faith or belief in), “eunhae” (kindness or benevolence). The research team identified “Yun”( the basic network of relationships) as the base of the pyramid and as such the foundation for the components of social support in Korean culture. On “Yun” rest the other four components of social support : “Jung”, “Midum”, “Do-oom”, and “Eunhae”, For social support to take place there must be “Yun”. This is an important factor in social support. In private social network “Jung” is an essential factor in social support. But not in the public social network. “Yun” is a condition for “Jung” and “Jung” is the manifestation of support.

중국인의 타인의식형 집단문화와 위조명품 브랜드 구매행동 (The Influences of Chinese Interpersonal Culture on Counterfeit Brand)

  • 불법 위조품은 아이디어를 내어 제품을 개발하고 투자하는 건전한 기업에 손해를 입히고 신제품 개발에 의지를 꺾는 등 사회적으로 큰 해악을 끼치고 있다. 특히 중국의 경우, 경제 성장과 동반 성장한 위조품의 규모와 내용 때문에 중국 위조품은 세계적인 문제가 되었다. 위조품은 판매자나 구매자나 모두에게 문제가 있다. 그러나 본 연구는 위조품거래 참여자 중 위조품을 구매하는 소비자에 초점을 맞추어 중국의 시장 환경에서 위조품을 구매하는 중국소비자를 대상으로 문화를 포함한 가치체계적인 관점에서 이해하고 분석하였다. 연구결과는 예상했던 것처럼 중국 소비자의 경우, 집단에 의해 영향을 받는 성향이 큰 소비자일수록 제품의 소비를 통해 자신의 가치를 알리는 명품에 대한 인지도가 높았다. 그리고 제품에 대해 인지도가 높을수록 제품에 대한 관여도도 높았으며, 관여도가 높은 소비자일수록 진품을 구매하는 경향이 높았다. 그리고 진품을 선호하는 소비자가 오히려 위조품도 선호한다는 의외의 결과도 보여 주었다. 본 연구에서 집단에 의해 영향받는 정도, 인지도, 관여도는 명품위조품의 구매행동을 설명하는 중요한 변인임을 확인하였다. 이는 중국의 문화가 유교의 영향을 받아 인간의 상호관계 속에서 사회적 지위, 신분을 과시하고자 하는 문화 현상 속에서, 명품을 소비하는 행동으로 이어지고 있으며 이러한 인식 중에 일부 왜곡된(윤리의식 부재로)인식이 위조품의 구매로 이어지고 있다고 말할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구 결과는 위조품이 소득이 낮은 소비자가 위조품을 소비할 것이라는 인식이 틀렸음을 의미한다. 위조품은 오히려 진품의 가치를 알고 있는 소비자들에 의해 구매가 이루어지고 있으며, 이러한 경우 가격의 높고 낮음은 절대 가격이 아니라 소비자가 제품을 어떻게 인식하고 있느냐에 의해, 즉 소비자가 느끼는 가치에 의해 결정된다는 사실을 확인하였다. 이는 위조제품의 구매는 가격보다 비가격요인이 더 영향을 미친다는 기타 연구결과와도 일치한다. 위조품은 자국 내의 문제에 국한되는 것이 아니라 글로벌 시대에 전 세계 유통질서를 어지럽혀 세계 여러 나라와 통상마찰을 일으키고 국가 신용도에도 악영향을 줄 수 있는 매우 심각한 사안이다. 그런 의미에서 세계 위조품 시장에서 중요한 역할을 하고 있는 중국, 그리고 중국의 위조품 소비자를 대상으로 위조품의 구매과정을 이해한 본 연구의 결과는 위조품과 관련된 중국 소비자의 의사결정과정을 이해하였다는 것 뿐만 아니라 기업의 마케터와 정책입안자에게 도움이 될 것이다.

부모의 이혼을 경험한 30-40대 기혼여성의 생애사 연구 (A Life History Study of Married Women in Their 30s to 40s with Experience in Parental Divorce)

  • This study focuses on the life experience of married women in their 30s to 40s who have experienced parental divorce. For a comprehensive understanding towards the women, this study takes a life history research approach. The participants of this research are 8 women who have experienced parental divorce and are now married with children. The data were gathered through in-depth interviews and were analyzed through the spiral of analysis, following the process of Wolcott's "description, analysis, and interpretation." The results of this study are as follows. First, participants experienced emotions such as fear, anger, and lack of affection. Second, parenting attitude and parental divorce had negative effects on the participants' formation and development of self concept and in turn, participants experienced anxiety and withdrawal from interpersonal relationships. Some had difficulties in concentrating on their schoolwork, which was caused by psychological effects from their instable home environments and some were negligent at school due to their parents' indifference or as an act of rebellion towards them. Third, although participants displayed interest towards the opposite sex, fear towards the opposite sex or unrealistic expectations led to difficulties in forming relationships. Participants also confessed that although they married so that they could escape their original family and form a new happy one, they experienced a rocky start at the beginning of their marriage. Fourth, parental divorce had a lifelong impact on children. Even after the children became adults, parental divorce affected each key stage of transition in life such as dating, choosing one's spouse, marriage, and child rearing. Fifth, participants displayed a strong attachment to life under the assumption that only they themselves can be depended on. This led to their strong commitments to a successful marriage without the possibility of divorce. In conclusion, parental divorce is not a transitory or incidental event. Rather, it becomes a part of the children's lives with lifelong implications.

물과 성찰(省察) (WATER AND INTROSPECTION)

  • All human being can't exist by oneself. That is, all human being depend on intimate attachment for their survival. Physical and psychological powers and control functions are prerequisites for one's survival and these serve important functions in interpersonal relationships. There are two kinds of powers and controls. One is positive power which helps one survive effectively. Another one is negative power which disturbs one's effective survival. Introspection is one of the positive power and most important process in understanding oneself and others. Thus, the purpose of this study is to elucidate the physical and psychological meaning of the characteristics of water and based on this meaning, to suggest one way of introspection. The authors reviewed the precept of water which is described in Bible and oriental classical books such as 'the Analects of Confuicus(論語)', 'Tao Te Ching(道德經)', 'Mencius(맹자)', 'Chronicle(史記)', 'The Doctrine of the Mean(中庸)', 'University(大學)'. The author also reviewed 'The History of Three Countries(삼국사기, 삼국유사)', 'The Precept of Religion', and 'the modern poems' which includes the symbolic meaning of water. The results are summarized as follows:1) The flow of water itself is the expression of introspection. Because, water does not flow without filling a puddle. 2) Water is the symbol of 'Immortality'. 3) Water symbolizes 'Modesty and Trust'. 4) Water is the symbol of 'Freedom from Greed'. 5) Water symbolizes 'Goodness and Beauty'. 6) Water symbolizes 'Naturality and Love'. Immortality, Modesty and Trust, Freedom from Greed, Goodness and Beauty, and Naturality and Love are eternal, universal values which all human should seek and achieve. By the process of introspection through the symbolic meaning of water, we can achieve these positive aspects of human mind and spirit.

산후우울 사정을 위한 도구 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Postpartum Depression Scale)

  • Postpartum depression is one of the most serious problems in maternal health because it affects not only the mother but also her family. Postpartum depression disturbs the maternal-infant interaction and attachment. However, most postpartum depression patients ignore this problem and do not seek treatment. Many clinicians and researchers realiza there is a need to develop a postpartum depression scale. Thus, this study has been designed to development of a postpartum depression scale. Data were collected through a survey over a period of three months. Subjects who participated in the study were 167 Korean mothers in their postpartum period. The author used a convenience sampling method. The analysis of the data was done with SPSS PC/sup +/ for descriptive statistics, item analysis and factor analysis. Initially 62 items were generated from the interview data of eight postpartum depression patients and from a literature review. This preliminary scale was analyzed for reliability and validity. The results of this analysis are as follows. 1. Initially 62 items were analyzed through the Index of Content Validity(CVI) and 48 items were selected. 2. Seven factors were extracted through the principal component analysis, and these contributed 61% of the variance in the total score. Finally 46 items in the scale loaded .41∼ .84 on one of seven factors. 3. Each factor was labeled. Factor 1 was labeled 'emotional phenomena-emotional upset' and included 13 items, factor 2 was labeled' cognitive phenomena-self concept disturbance' and included seven items, factor 3 was labeled 'relationship to baby-negative feeling' and included six items, factor 4 was labeled 'relationship to baby- overload' and included eight items, factor 5 was labeled 'negative maternal identity' and included five items, factor 6 was labeled 'biophysiological phenomena-disturbance of physical functioning' and included four items, and factor 7 was labeled' interpersonal relationship phenomena-blamed others' and included three items. 4. Cronbach Coefficient Alpha for internal consistency was .95 for the total 46 items. Finally, the author suggests that this scale could be adequately applied in assessing the postpartum depression of mothers during the postpartum period. The results of this study can contribute to designing an appropriate postpartum depression prevention strategy.

학교 밖 청소년의 자살시도 영향요인 (Predictors of Suicide Attempts in Out of School Youths)

  • 본 연구는 학교 밖 청소년의 자살 시도 예측 변수를 조사하기 위해 학업중단청소년 패널조사 1차년도 조사자료를 사용한 2차 데이터 분석 연구이다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 26.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 수행되었다. 연구에 포함된 776명의 참가자 중 62명(8%)에서 학업중단 이후 자살 시도가 보고되었다. 로지스틱 회귀분석결과, 학업중단 이전의 자살시도 경험(OR=10.66), 폭력피해 경험(OR=6.97), 음주(OR=3.73), 우울(OR=2.62), 부모애착(OR=0.47), 또래와의 관계(OR=0.63)가 학업 중단 이후 자살 시도의 유의한 예측인자였다. 따라서 학교 밖 청소년의 자살 시도를 예방하기 위해서는 학업 중단 전의 자살 시도 경험을 확인해야 한다. 또한 심리적 상황, 대인관계, 폭력경험 등을 고려한 융합적 자살예방 프로그램의 수립이 필요하다.

아동기 트라우마 성인여성의 정서적 경험에 관한 현상학적연구 (A Phenomenological Study on Emotional Experiences of Adult Women with Childhood Trauma)

  • 본 연구에서는 아동기 트라우마를 겪은 성인여성 생존자의 트라우마 영향으로 인한 정서경험에 대하여 심층적으로 탐구하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 아동기에 트라우마를 겪은 기혼 성인여성을 대상으로 심층면접을 진행하였다. 수집된 자료는 Colaizzi의 현상학적 연구방법을 통해 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, '자신을 지킬 수 없는 아이', '트라우마된 아동기 외상', '불안정애착과 착한아이 증후군', '대인관계의 어려움', '자녀양육의 어려움', '신체화증상', '잃어 버린 나를 찾아서' 의 7개의 범주가 도출되었다. 아울러 본 연구에서는 양육자로부터 직접 학대를 경험한 외상과 동생의 사고를 목격 경험한 가족인 형제의 외상이 트라우마로 진행하는 두 사례를 비교와 대조를 통해 가족내에서 자녀들이 겪어야만 했던 심리 내적인 경험과 부모와 아동기에 형성된 불안정 애착으로 인한 관계외상과 이를 치유해 가는 성장 경험을 이해하려는 것이 목적이다. 아동기 트라우마를 겪은 성인여성들의 삶의 전반에 반영된 부정적 부적응적 정서경험에 대한 연구결과를 통해 건강한 자아 회복과 정서적으로 잘 적응하며 살아갈 수 있는 토대를 마련하였다고 볼 수 있다.

Concept analysis of transition to motherhood: a methodological study

  • Purpose: Although the term "transition to motherhood" is commonly used in research, the concept is not clear. This study, hence, was conducted to clarify the concept of "transition to motherhood." Methods: The concept analysis framework developed by Walker and Avant is used to analyze the concept of transition to motherhood. Results: Transition to motherhood is defined as the physical, psychological, social, and relational (mother-baby relationship/interpersonal relationship) changes that happen to a woman after pregnancy and delivery of a baby. The attributes of the transition to motherhood include: 1) adapting to physical changes after pregnancy and childbirth; 2) experiencing various psychological changes; 3) changing of her social perception from being a woman to someone's mother; and 4) forming and developing a relationship with the newborn, adjusting priorities, and redefining the relationship between family and others. Meeting the newborn is regarded as an antecedent of the transition to motherhood. Redefining identity and physical image, ensuring mother's well-being, maternal attachment, and confidence in the maternal role are regarded as consequences of the transition to motherhood. The concept was clarified by the presentation of model, borderline, and contrary cases. Conclusion: The significance of this study lies in the clarification of the concept of transition to motherhood and defining its attributes. It is recommended that tools be developed to measure transition to motherhood based on the results of this study. Furthermore, nurses and midwives can use study findings to better understand the concept of transition to motherhood in providing care and support to mothers who experience it.
