인터넷 영양정보의 내용 분석 (Analysis of Contents of Nutrition Information on the Internet)

  • 232 internet sites in Yahoo and Empas were monitored to analyze what good contents of nutrition information on line have for the internet searchers. As the sites on line were disappeared frequently, all the monitored sites were selected on April 25, 2003. 3 disciplined personnels analyzed the contents of the selected sites by using self-developed monitoring format. The results are as follows. Most of sites were administered by the marketing companies and only 8% by public institutions, associations and school. Especially, most of the contents of the sites by marketing companies were advertisement about their goods instead of nutrition information. Only 42.6% of sites indicated the sources of nutrition information. Only 10.3% of site administrators responded about on-line questions quickly within 1 day. Moreover, 46% of sites were not conformed their answering periods. On the other hand, 94.8% of sites offered more than 1 feedback methods. Monitors checked purposes offering on-line informations plurally. Leading purpose was for advertising and marketing their goods(59.5%) and 47% of them were opened for offering food and nutrition information. They offered various informations at the same time. More than half of the sites had the menus for food and nutrition information and connected sites, but the other half of them only advertised their own goods. Positive sides from monitored informations were as follows : 'communicating informations easily' (8.7%) / 'definite informations for daily living' (7.2%) / 'beneficial informations for nutritional management' (4.6%) / 'new informations' (2.1%). Negative sides of offered information were ‘not enough to give scientific basis and/or to simplify special evidences too much’(60.8%) / ‘to exaggerate the contents’ (41.4%) / ‘not to indicate the notice of side effect and/or to advertise that there are not side effect from using their goods’ (34.1%).

인터넷을 이용한 어린이 금융교육: 쌍방향 금융교육 웹사이트 현황 분석 (Financial Education for Children Using the Internet: An Analysis on Interactive Financial Education Web Sites)

  • Recognizing a tremendous increase in the Internet users and popularity of E-learning through the Internet, this study attempted to analyze interactive financial education web sites for children. Using meta search engines and major search engines, interactive financial education web sites identified based on the three criteria and analyzed in terms of the appropriateness for specific age groups, the coverage of contents related to the basic knowledge for financial literacy, and the interactive activities. The results showed that financial education web sites for children were needed to be improved in terms of both quantity and quality. The study also provides a guideline how to search for an appropriate financial education web sites for children when parents want teach about money to their children.

  • 인터넷에서 다수의 포털 사이트들이 치열한 경쟁을 벌이고 있지만, 일반 사용자들이 각 포털 사이트를 어떻게 인식하고 있는지에 대한 연구는 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구는 인터넷 사용자들의 포털 사이트들에 대한 인식을 알아보기 위하여, 대표적인 다섯 개의 사이트들(Daum, 네이버, 구글, 네이트, 그리고 MSN) 간의 유사성 분석을 시도하였다. 다차원척도법을 활용하여 포털 사이트들 간의 차이를 개념적인 거리로 측정함으로써 각 사이트들의 상대적인 포지셔닝을 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 포털 사이트 간 전략의 차이를 가시적으로 이해하는데 중요한 의미를 지닐 것으로 기대된다.

  • Nowadays, there is a huge need of an extensive study to understand features and behavior modes of consumers who have an indefinite potential of purchase and to make EC a bullish market, Recently, the flow construct has been proposed as important for understanding consumer behavior on the cyber space. The purpose of this study is threefold. To investigate (1) the effect of the flow experience when navigating Internet shopping-mall sites and Internet on purchase intention and relational factors of this (2) the difference in the flow experiences between during the time of navigating Internet and during the time of navigating Internet shopping-mall sites. (3) the difference in purchase intention and relational factors of this between an experiential flow and a purposeful flow. The results show that (1) increase of the purchase intention on EC (or relational factors of this) in proportion to the degree of cognition of users' flow experience (2) By the separate motive of searching Internet shopping-mall sites, the flow experiences during the time of navigating Internet lead to different results (3) Although the difference in the purchase intention on EC between subjects is nonsignificant, it suggests that we need to focus on the fact that the correlation between the purchase intention on EC and the purposeful flow experience on Internet shopping-mall sites is greater than any other correlation. In the end of this study, The theoretical and practical implications of the study, limitations of the study, and future research implications are discussed.

  • This study aims to compare internet portal sites for rural tourism, and to suggest the improved contents for homepage information on mountain villages under the Korea Forest Service. Design, interface, information source, and communication as estimation indicators were used to understand the characteristics of portal sites, and sub-items under indicators to analyse the portal sites were established. Nationwide portal sites were compared for rural tourism information. Also, German and Italian portal sites were compared as overseas cases. As a result, an internet portal site for information on mountain villages under the Korea Forest Service has to be improved as compared with other portal sites related to rural tourism. Firstly, it is necessary to modify and improve the category explaining mountain villages. Secondly, homepage for developing mountain villages has to be established and linked to potential visitors. Thirdly, portal sites for developing mountain villages subsequently have to be constructed under the site of the Korea Forest Service.

웹 사이트의 품질 결정요인과 고객 만족도, 몰입, 성과간의 관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Determination Factor of Web Site Quality and the Relationship with Customer Satisfaction, Involvement, and Performance)

  • The virtual space of internet has changed the existed market structure as more and more internet users have highly increased. And this situation has given a golden opportunity to the internet service firms that are supposed to meet their customers through the internet web sites. So, it is becoming a critical issues to construct and keep better web sites than their competitors to the internet service firms. This paper is intented as an investigation of determination factors of internet web site quality further, which of them are more important factors to the consumer satisfaction. For this purpose, empirical approach using factor analysis, regression analysis was used to develop dimensions of internet web site quality and to explore more important factors that internet service firms should choice to have competitiveness. Empirical results of the study presented that the determination factors of internet web site quality were composed of five factors like Responsiveness, Accessibility, Ease of use, System Performance, Communication. And we found that Communication and Ease of use are more important factors than other ones. Therefore, the internet service firms that are plan to have more competitiveness than their competitors should choice these important factors and concentrate on these ones to build excellent internet web sites.

품질위험 지각 정도에 따른 인터넷 중고차 사이트의 신뢰형성 요인과 구매의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Antecedents of Trust Building and its Effects on Purchase Intention for Internet Used-car Transaction)

  • Trust has been identified as a key component in many e-Commerce studies. The purpose of this study is to find out which factors play a major role in building trust and how the built-up trust affect consumer's purchase intention in Internet used-car transactions. Based on the information asymmetry, TAM(Technology Acceptance Model), and the trust theory, our research model includes factors such as a buyer's propensity-to-trust, institutional characteristics(inspection and warranty policy), word-of-mouth referral, perceived size, and perceived benefits as independent variables. The model also includes trust as a mediate variable, intention to purchase as a dependent variable and perceived quality risk as a moderate variable. The research model is tested by analyzing 787 sample data gathered from Internet used-car transaction sites. The result shows that the trust has significant effects on the online purchase intention, and institutional characteristics has been identified as the most significant factor for the trust of Internet used-car sites. The independent factors influencing trust vary depending on the level of perceived quality risk. For users who perceive the quality risk low, the perceived benefits explain a little portion of the purchase intention. However, those who perceive quality risk high would purchase used-cars only when they have trust on the Internet sites, indicating that trust play an important role as a mediate variable. This study suggests that enhancing the trust in Internet used-car sites is important to increase online transactions.

The Impact of Service Perceptions and Product Perceptions on the Formation of Fashion Internet Shoppers' Satisfaction and Purchasing Behavioral Intentions

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the service and product perceptions' dimensions for fashion retail sites and to identify the service and product perceptions' dimensions influencing consumers' satisfaction and purchasing behavioral intentions for fashion retail sites. A set of self-administered questionnaires were e-mailed to an internet Research Panel consisting of members who had purchased fashion products or visited fashion retail sites. 799 questionnaires were analysed using frequency, percentage, exploratory factor analysis. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, stepwise regression analysis utilizing SPSS 10.0. The service perception dimensions of fashion retail sites had reliability, convenience, incentive, responsiveness and tangibility. Online fashion product perception dimensions were product variety and product value. Consumer satisfaction was influenced by reliability, product variety, product value, convenience, incentive and responsiveness. Consumer satisfaction had a direct impact on purchasing behavioral intentions of fashion retail sites.
