Temporal trends of ozone concentration in Jinju were investigated by using observation data from 3 air quality monitoring stations for the period of 2004~2008. In addition, spatial comparisons of ozone concentration at Jeoguri, upwind and downwind directions of Jinju were investigated between May and September 2009. Annual mean exhibited increasing trends +1.7ppb/yr throughout the study period. In the case of diurnal variation, the lowest ozone concentration was shown from 7 am to 8 am and the highest around 4 pm. The ozone concentrations of Jeoguri station of the south coast were higher than Jinju. In particular, the upwind direction of Jinju had relatively hight ozone concentration

This study investigates the current status of the green growth policies of Korean public corporations and proposes some potential improvement ideas. A set of twenty global green trends are first elicited by using classified macro trends of environmental changes. The green trends are categorized into four key issues based on which domestic and international research efforts are compared. The management performance reports of Korean public corporations are then throughly analyzed to evaluate the validity of their strategic green tasks in relevant to the global green trends. Finally, we suggest some potential government policies for enhancing the existing green growth businesses of public corporations.

In this study, social network analysis was performed to compare and analyze changes in domestic tourism trends before and after the outbreak of COVID-19 in a situation where the damage to the tourism industry due to COVID-19 is increasing. Using Textom, a big data analysis service, data were collected using the keywords "travel destination" and "travel trend" based on the collection period of 2019 and 2020, when the epidemic spread to the world and became chaotic. After extracting a total of 80 key words through text mining, centrality was analyzed using NetDraw of Ucinet6, and clustered into 4 groups through CONCOR analysis. Through this, we compared and analyzed changes in domestic tourism trends before and after the outbreak of COVID-19, and it is judged to provide basic data for tourism marketing strategies and tourism product development in the post-COVID-19.

This research aims to investigate the cybersecurity policies from major countries for understanding with comprehensive perspectives. Global trends emphasize a comprehensive command-centered approach, with top leadership directing cybersecurity policies. Key policy areas include security across technology ecosystems, protection of critical infrastructure, and software supply chain security. Investment is being focused on zero-trust architectures, software bills, and new technologies like artificial intelligence. For countries like Korea, immediate response and adaptation to these trends are crucial to develop and enforce national cybersecurity policies.

Blended learning has become one of the major trends in Korean corporate training. However, there has been scant research on blended learning in corporate trainings settings in Korea. The purpose of the present study was to explore current and future trends of blended learning in corporate and other training settings in Korea. 136 people from training related fields such as human resource development (HRD), training, and e-learning participated in this research. The findings revealed many interesting current trends and future expectations related to blended learning in training settings. In regards to the overall status of blended learning in Korean corporations, participants displayed strong interest in blended learning and were expecting that the importance of blended learning would grow in their organizations either modestly or significantly during the next few years. In addition, the perceptions of the respondents regarding the benefits of blended learning and the barriers to implementation in their respective organizations were analyzed.

We describes V2X technology, a connectivity-based recognition technology that is attracting attention as a key technology for implementing autonomous driving technology, and autonomous communication modules that implement ADAS technology, a sensor-based recognition technology. It also explains the trends in V2X technology standardization centered on IEEE 802.11p, which is a WAVE technology standard based on Wi-Fi/DSRC. Finally, we will discuss the market growth trend of V2X communication modules in the United States, the leading V2X technology module, and the development of technology development trends of major domestic and international companies that are leading the global technology market related to V2X communication modules. V2X and ADAS technologies will be the biggest influence on automotive purchasing decisions. In recent years, V2I mandates have been promoted beyond V2V, mainly in developed countries such as the United States. The related industry needs to focus on the development of information transmission network technology that can support high frequency high efficiency(transmission rate) and sophisticated positioning accuracy beyond conventional vehicle communication.

This study analyzes the research trends and evaluates the specialized characteristics of the journal of Korea healthcare architecture. Total 308 papers from 1995(Vol.1) to 2010(Vol.16) were analyzed by following seven criteria: (1) research focus by analyzing the key words of each paper; (2) research method(qualitative and quantitative research); (3) research nature(practical/prescriptive vs. theoretical/normative); (4) research target(healthcare, welfare, and others); (5) researcher characteristics(position, major, and numbers of author); (6) supported research(in-university, out-of-university, and out-of-pocket funds); and (7) international study. The research findings include followings. First, research focus lies in the function of healthcare and welfare facilities. Second, qualitative method is the dominant form of research. Third, practical/prescriptive research continuously increases. Fourth, research target is mainly a healthcare facility, while the research of welfare facility is increasing. Fifth, the considerable numbers of first author are graduate students. Sixth, out-of-university research funds increase. Finally, international studies related to Japan are mostly published.

Korea has the plans to improve nation and corporate global competitiveness through reducing the logistics costs. Ministry of Knowledge Economy, as the government department of in charge of the plan, establish industrial logistics policies in 2002 and 2007 and it's about time to set up the third industrial logistics policy in 2012. There are new trends for the logistics environment in terms of environment-friendly logistics, logistics securities, win-win collaboration etc. This study propose some harmonious plans between logistic productivity and the new trends in the field of logistics. For the purpose of that, we have evaluated the second industrial logistics policy. We propose the vision and objectives of the new industrial logistics policy. The vision is entering the line of industrial logistics developed nations through the sustainable logistics innovation, and the objects are smart & green logistics, win-win collaboration, lead the new logistics trends etc. We also propose the set the system and rules to push promote the new plan. In addition, industrial logistics is the new terminology setting out use by Ministry of Knowledge Economy.

Indoor gardens tailored to suit individual tastes offer a place to enjoy plants and to relax to city dwellers to relieve stress from city life. However, there are technical issues to build such indoor gardens. To offer solutions to technical issues, this study aims to analyze development phases of indoor garden-related technologies by studying available patents in detail. Also, the study aims to understand current status and future direction of technologies by examining technological trends for introduction of indoor gardens. Brainstorming method was used to understand technology trends and as a result, two groups were identified for technical features of indoor gardens: indoor greening technology and rest area for users. An analysis on selected patents showed that the number of patents increased until 2010 and declined gradually afterwards. Korea ranked the highest in the number of patents grant followed by USA, Japan and Europe. Similar order was observed with the number of patents granted by nationality of applicants. The number of patents granted by nationality was the highest for Korean nationals. For indoor greening technologies, patents related to structure from 2007 were mostly concentrated in the areas of irrigation control and environment control for plants and vegetation. For rest area related technologies, patent related to structure showed a repetitive pattern of increasing and decreasing, but overall, on downtrend. For further development and dissemination of indoor gardening technology, more R&D work is needed with focus on environmental control technology for designing suitable environment for both human and plant.

In recent years, hazardous flash flooding has caused deaths and damage to infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. In this paper, our aim is to assess patterns and trends in climate means and extremes affecting flash flood hazards and water resources in Saudi Arabia for the purpose to improve risk assessment for forecast capacity. We would like to examine temperature, precipitation climatology and trend magnitudes at surface stations in Saudi Arabia. Based on the assessment climate patterns maps and trends are accurately used to identify synoptic situations and tele-connections associated with flash flood risk. We also study local and regional changes in hydro-meteorological extremes over recent decades through new applications of statistical methods to weather station data and remote sensing based precipitation products; and develop remote sensing based high-resolution precipitation products that can aid to develop flash flood guidance system for the flood-prone areas. A dataset of extreme events has been developed using the multi-decadal station data, the statistical analysis has been performed to identify tele-connection indices, pressure and sea surface temperature patterns most predictive to heavy rainfall. It has been combined with time trends in extreme value occurrence to improve the potential for predicting and rapidly detecting storms. A methodology and algorithms has been developed for providing a well-calibrated precipitation product that can be used in the early warning systems for elevated risk of floods.
