  • The attractiveness of e-sports games1 and the way it is spread has changed in recent years. Instead of conventional approaches, such as advertising campaigns or televised events, spectators are increasingly drawn to online platforms, which offer more opportunities for communication. Besides live streaming services like Twitch. tv, where spectators can watch matches in real-time or via recorded videos, social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter are now adding e-sports related content to their networks [1]. Especially the combination of live streams on Twitch, Twitter, and Facebook opens many possibilities regarding how information is shared. This might be an efficient way of spreading attractiveness among female audiences. This paper focuses on the attractiveness of e-sports events in general for females. It has been hypothesized that there are certain factors that influence this attractiveness. Studying past research papers and online resources, three factors were identified: The players' behavior and charisma, the impact of social media as well as videogames themselves. It is found that females are attracted to e-sport games because they allow them to engage more in the game compared to other videogames. This is because there are no time constraints that require players to accomplish certain tasks within a specific time frame. As such, female gamers can choose how much effort they want to put into the game depending on their personal preferences.

  • Makkah Al-Mukarramah is the capital of Islamic world. It receives special attention from the Saudi government's rulers to transform it into a smart city for the benefit of millions of pilgrims. One of the 2030 vision objectives is to transform specific cities to smart ones with advanced technological facilitation, Makkah is one of these cities. The history of Makkah is not well known for some Muslims. As a result, we built the concepts of our application "Ain Makkah" to enable visitors of Makkah to know the history of Makkah by using technology. In particular "Ain Makkah" uses Augmented Reality to view the history of Al-Kaaba. A 3D model will overlay Al-Kaaba to show it in the last years. Our project will use Augmented Reality to build a 3D model to overlay Al-Kaaba. Future work will expand the number of historical landmarks of Makkah.

  • The purpose of this study is to classify the budget and settlement of global natural history museums into functional criteria, to compare and analyze the integrative research and general administrative functions of these museums, and to suggest the standard of budget compilation of the Korean National Museum of Natural History, which will be established in the near future. Annual reports, documents of budget request, financial statements and account books were collected from the following museums: SNMNH of The U.S.A, AMNH of the U.S.A, NHM of England, MNHN of France and NMNS of Japan. The integrative research and general administrative functions of the studied museums are reclassified into the criteria of budget and settlement data of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. After arranging the details regarding budget and settlement of each museum, the international comparative analysis was investigated on the amounts of the integrative research and general administrative functions among the studied museums. The comparison and analysis show the ratio of integrative research function and general administrative function in budget expenditure standard at 6:4 in natural history museums of the U.S.A and England, of which the functions of research, education, exhibition and publication are considered to be the most activated in the world. This implies that museums should increase the budget for support of integrative research to allow them to maximize their functions.

  • Far from being a recent world, the concept of "a [one] world" did slowly emerged in a post-prehistoric Antiquity. The actual knowledge of the world increased through millennia leaving aside large continents (Americas, part of Africa, Australia, etc.-most areas without written history), and writing history in Antiquity cannot be a synchronal presentation of the most ancient times of these areas. Through a few case studies dealing with texts, archaeology and history itself mostly in BCE times, the paper will try to perceive the slow building-up of a physical awareness and 'moral' consciousness of the known world by people of the Middle East (e.g. the Bible, Gilgamesh) and the Mediterranean (mainly Greeks).

  • Contradictions often occur between the process of urban modernization and protection of history and culture, which have become the topics of current studies. The development of a city has its past, present and future while history and culture have their continued process. Culture is the sediment of history, left among buildings and merged in life. Exerting a subtle influence on the construction of a city and behaviors of citizens, culture is very important to the urban construction and is also the soul of a city and its buildings. Culture is closely bound up with inhabitants' life and the key to protect well the cultural features is to protect well historical and cultural venues.
