This study was conducted to compare protected areas of South and North Korea based on international conservation criteria and recommend new fundamental directions for nature conservation policy. International conservation criteria used by this research were the 1994 IUCN protected area categories, composed of 6 management categories. Despite a variety of types and names of protected areas created by different domestic legislations, South Korea was revealed to have only two types of protected areas, Category IV and V, indicating the significant lack of ecological diversity and representativeness in its protected area system. Shockingly, there are no national parks meeting IUCN criteria in South Korea. On the other hand, North Korea has three IUCN Categories of II, III, IV and thus more balanced and ecologically representative protected area network than South Korea. Especially, North Korea maintains 9 national parks to be officially recognized by IUCN and UN. However, both South and North Korea should make sincere effort to have new and well-designed protected area system including all IUCN Categories I -Ⅵ and particularly a minimum area in the stricter protected area categories.

Software copyright are written in text form of documents and stored as files, so it is easy to expose on an illegal copyright. The IOT framework configuration and service environment are also evaluated in software structure and revealed to replication environments. Illegal copyright can be easily created by intelligently modifying the program code in the framework system. This paper deals with similarity comparison to determine the suspicion of illegal copying. In general, original source code should be provided for similarity comparison on both. However, recently, the suspected developer have refused to provide the source code, and comparative evaluation are performed only with executable code. This study dealt with how to analyze the similarity with the execution code and the circuit configuration and interface state of the system without the original source code. In this paper, we propose a method of analyzing the data of the object without source code and verifying the similarity comparison result through evaluation examples.

In this study, the comparison of the basic human body measurement definitions and anthropometric terms between the Korean Standard and the International Standard. Measurement definitions, measurement method and measurement terms of the international standard ISO 8559, 7250 were compard with the KSRI-88-103-IR. We have tried to suggest the new methods and new terms such as eye height, waist height, arm length.

Mediation is one of several alternatives to litigation or arbitration. It is the most informal of the alternatives and the only one that gives the parties control over the outcome. The mediator in mediation is there to help the parties persuade each other that it is in their best interests to settle. As several advantages of mediation, it is considered as the fastest way to resolve a dispute because procedures associated with litigation are not imported into the process. In mediation, the client's resources are focused on resolving the dispute as opposed to building armaments of evidence to buttress legal and factual positions. The AAA commercial mediation rules and operations in the USA are very successful owing to professional training for mediators and simple procedures for mediation to the public. Comparison with USA mediation, KCAB mediation system has several weak points. KCAB mainly deals with administrative matters related to Foreign Trade Law. Therefore, it is necessary for KCAB to come up with more improved international commercial mediation. For example, mediation should be promoted to the public as who easily rely on litigation or arbitration. Second, Setting a rule for easy access to mediation is needed by bench marking AAA's mediation guidelines and operations. Third, professional mediators should be developed by establishing relevant ADR course in law schools. This article investigated some differences of mediation system between KCAB in Korea and AAA in USA, and present some suggestions in order to promote International commercial mediation in KCAB.

Objective: International institutes such as Global institute for Asthma(GINA), KAAACI(Republic of Korea), NHLBI(USA), BTS(UK) and JSA(Japan) have published guidelines for asthma treatment. The aim of this study was to compare the representatives' international guidelines of pharmacotherapy for pediatric asthma. Methods: The recommendations related to pharmacotherapy for pediatric asthma were extracted from the latest representatives' international guidelines, and comprehensive comparisons were conducted. Results: Major comparison outcomes between international guidelines were evaluated as follows: classification system on severity and pediatric age group, recommendation for inhaled corticosteroid dose, recommendation for pediatric age group of theophylline in mild asthma, and recommendation for pediatric age group of tiotropium in severe asthma. Clinical trials emphasized the adverse effects of theophylline, whereas tiotropium demonstrated beneficial actions for pediatric asthma. Therefore, theophylline was recommended for older patients with persistent asthma, and tiotropium was considered to be suitable for younger patients with severe asthma according to GINA guidelines. Conclusion: These findings address the requirement to harmonize international guidelines of pharmacotherapy in pediatric asthma. In addition, the findings suggest that KAAACI needs to update its pharmacotherapy guidelines of theophylline, tiotropium and other medicines recently approved.

자기장 측정기 교정 및 자기관련 시험 등에 사용되는 직류 및 교류 자기장 표준시스템을 제작하였다. 자기장 1 mT범위에서, 직류의 경우 확장불확도(expanded uncertainty, 2$\sigma$)는 8${\times}$$10^{-6}$, 교류의 경우, 주파수에 따른 확장불확도는 0.1～1 kHz 범위에서 0.16%, 1～5kHz에서 0.26%, 5～20kHz에서 0.44%이었다. 또한 국가측정표준에 대한 동등성과 수행한 교정 및 측정에 대한 국가간 상호인정을 받기 위하여 이 분야의 핵심측정표준 국제비교(international key comparison)에 참여하였다. 선진국과 대등한 결과를 얻었으며, 자기장 분야의 측정능력이 세계적 수준임을 확인하는 계기가 되었다.

Korean ginseng (Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer) has been used as a traditional herbal medicine in East Asia and is very popular in the world, because of its health benefits. To comparison of pharmacological components and physiochemical properties between white and red ginseng from same body, we analyzed ginsenoside and malonyl ginsenoside, ash, crude lipid/protein, fatty acid, mineral contents, total/reducing sugar, and total phenolic and acidic polysaccharide contents. The general components did not show any significant difference between white and red ginseng. Whereas, the content of neutral ginsenoside $Rb_1$, $Rb_2$, Rc and Rd were higher in red ginseng than those of white ginseng. However, malonyl ginsenoside such as $m-Rb_1$, $m-Rb_2$, m-Rc and m-Rd in white ginseng were similar to neutral ginsenoside $Rb_1$, $Rb_2$, Rc and Rd in white ginseng and far higher than those of red ginseng. These results exhibit that malonyl ginsenosides were converted to neutral ginsenosides in steaming process for red ginseng. So, we suggest that malonyl ginsenoside are necessary to applies in ginsenoside analysis of Korean ginseng.

In this thesis we aim at analyzing international competitive power of Chinese ginseng in comparison with Korean ginseng and searching policy direction for Korea to compete Chinese ginseng industry. We summarized the research results as follows; First, we examine the structural change of ginseng industry of China. Second, we review the theories for international competitiveness and apply the method of analyzing competitiveness to ginseng industry. Third, we compared the international competitive power of the ginseng industry between China and Korea and found that Chinese ginseng, estimated by Revealed Comparative Advantage(RCA) at about 15, still remains high competitiveness in terms of cost and price but lowering price competitiveness recently. Based on the research results, we suggest export promotion strategies of the Korean ginseng as follows; 1) Korean government should enforce trade cooperation with China so as to register Korean root ginseng an importable medicine. 2) Korean ginseng producer should develop various products such as capsules, powders and etc. according to China's consumer purchasing power and taste. 3) Korean ginseng should be sold as an differentiated commodity so that it will contribute to building consumer loyalty to Korean ginseng, makes market share superior to other cheaper ginseng products in China. 4) In order to be effective brand marketing and product advertisement, there should be established reliable networks to process and distribute Korean ginseng products exclusively.
