This paper is to review the interim measures of arbitral tribunals in international commercial arbitration and to compare the emergency arbitrator systems of international arbitration institutions including the ICDR, SCC, SIAC, ACICA, and ICC. Most arbitration legislation and arbitration rules permit the arbitral tribunal to grant orders for interim measures of protection. Orders for interim measures by the arbitral tribunal are not self-enforcing. However, the revised articles with regard to interim measures of UNCITRAL Model Law of 2006 are regarded to contribute significantly to the effectiveness of interim measures in international commercial arbitration. A party that needs urgent interim or conservatory measures that cannot await the constitution of an arbitral tribunal may make an application for such measures. Major international arbitration institutions have their own rules and provisions for the emergency arbitrator system, which was set forth first by the ICRD in 2006. The application requirements for emergency arbitrators are almost the same. However, there are significant differences in details such as appointments and applications for challenging emergency arbitrators, the process and form of the emergency arbitrator's decision, etc. Therefore, it will be necessary to consider these differences for more desirable emergency arbitrator proceedings in Korea.

This study develops the market attractiveness assessment model and draws the strategic target markets and their corresponding exporting strategies through identifying the market positions in the dimensions of market attractiveness scores and market positional strength to achieve the innovative export promotion of Korean heavy electric industry and the resulting improvement and reversal of comparative-disadvantage position. In chapter 2, we analyze the stages of selecting target markets, the constructs and their measure variables of market attractiveness models, and the components and strategic policy implications of directional policy matrix. And in chapter 3, we identify the comparative advantage positions of Korean heavy electric industry in the global market through analyzing its trade structure, trends, balance, ratio-balance, and specialization index by the item and the region respectively. We find that the Asia/Pacific region is the most attractive export market of the Korean heavy electric equipment industry, the following important strategic target markets are the America, MENA, CIS/East Europe Regions in the order of their attractiveness and competitive position dimensions. In the mean time, the sub-Sahara Africa and West Europe region is shown to be the long-run-viewpoint target market requiring the innovation or divest strategies owing to their low attractiveness and the low market share of Korean exports.

Purpose: To evaluate and analyze the quality of Korean prescription lenses according to international standards. Methods: We measured the refractive power, the thickness at optical center and the transmittance, and then made a comparative analysis them with foreign brand products according to international standards. Results: Most of Korean products had good qualities on the refractive power and transmittance, even if there was out of tolerance in a case of korean products. Conclusions: To ensure a higher preference of Korean products in the home and abroad marketplace, a high-powered quality control and marketing strategy are necessary to domestic lens manufacturers.

In the current context of digitalization of education, the use of modern methods and techniques of data analysis and processing in order to improve students' school results has a very important role. In our paper, we aimed to perform a comparative study of the classification performances of AdaBoost, SVM, Naive Bayes, Neural Network and kNN algorithms to classify the results obtained at the Baccalaureate by students from a college in Suceava, during 2012-2019. To evaluate the results we used the metrics: AUC, CA, F₁, Precision and Recall. The AdaBoost algorithm achieves incredible performance for classifying the results into two categories: promoted / rejected. Next in terms of performance is Naive Bayes with a score of 0.999 for the AUC metric. The Neural Network and kNN algorithms obtain scores of 0.998 and 0.996 for AUC, respectively. SVM shows poorer performance with the score 0.987 for AUC. With the help of the HeatMap and DataTable visualization tools we identified possible correlations between classification results and some characteristics of data.

Background: Noise-induced hearing loss is a well-known occupational disease that affects many fish harvesters from many fisheries worldwide, whose risk factor is prolonged exposure to hazardous noise levels. To date, academic research activities and regulatory bodies have not provided any comparative analysis among the existing methods to assess noise exposure levels of fish harvesters. This paper provides a comparison of four relevant assessment methods of noise exposure, examining the results of a measurement campaign performed onboard small fishing vessels from Newfoundland and Labrador. Methods: We traveled onboard 11 vessels engaged in multiple fisheries from Newfoundland and Labrador and performed extensive noise exposure surveys using the simplified International Maritime Organization method, the full-day measurement method, and the two methods provided by ISO 9612:2009, the task-based method and job-based method (JBM). Results: The results showed that the four methods yield similar values when the noise components are dominated by the engine and auxiliaries (steady-state sources); when noise components are dominated by the fishing gear, task-based method and the simplified International Maritime Organization method estimates are less accurate than JBM, using full-day measurements as baseline. Conclusion: The JBM better assesses noise exposure in small-scale fisheries, where noise exposure has significant variance and uncertainties on the exposure levels are higher.

Since 2017, the application of VR technology in the game field has become more and more extensive, and more and more scholars have conducted research on VR games, especially VR horror games. This article will conduct research on VR horror games and scrolling scroll games through comparative analysis, and believes that VR horror games are much stronger than side scrolling scrolling games in terms of immersion. However, due to its unique flat third-person perspective, completely different operation methods and the existence of 'the fourth wall in side-scrolling horror games, Players can clearly realize that they are in an absolutely safe environment, and that they are just manipulators of game characters, not experiencers of terrorist events, so players will not receive excessive fright. Therefore, this article believes that the number of players who like side-scrolling horror games with certain horror elements is greater than the number of players who like pure VR horror games.Many traditional games in this paper have their own advantages in many aspects. For example, many traditional games such as horizontal games also have good development prospects in the future. We should promote the research on games in the academic community from multiple angles, not limited to popular VR games.

In three-dimensional(3D) modeling, texturing plays a crucial role as a visual element, imparting detail and realism to models. In contrast to traditional texturing methods, the current trend involves utilizing AI tools such as Leonardo.Ai and Meshy to create textures for 3D models in a more efficient and precise manner. This paper focuses on 3D texturing, conducting a comprehensive comparative study of AI tools, specifically Leonardo.Ai and Meshy. By delving into the performance, functional differences, and respective application scopes of these two tools in the generation of 3D textures, we highlight potential applications and development trends within the realm of 3D texturing. The efficient use of AI tools in texture creation also has the potential to drive innovation and enhancement in the field of 3D modeling. In conclusion, this research aims to provide a comprehensive perspective for researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts in related fields, fostering further innovation and development in this domain.

The aim of this study is to examine the linkage between environmental theory and physical development such as housing estate developments. Firstly, this paper examines environmentalism to see varying approaches in the resolution of environmental problems. Here, Technocentrism, Econcentrism and Ecosocialism was seen as dominant theoretical approaches. Secondly, an international case study on ecological housing development was conducted. Four German, Australian, Japan and Korean examples were taken as cases which revealed a wide spectrum of development tendencies. An analytical framework of building methods evaluated by the environmental theories was established. And by evaluating the cases with this framework, we were able to find out the overall environmental character of each housing developments. The hypothesis of this paper is that these differences can be explained through the differences that exist in society which the theoretical represents. The research revealed strong linkage with social tendencies.

The purpose of this study to discover what effect the mathematics education program linked to outdoor movement activities have on the ability to manipulate objects. The subject of study was a kindergarten class. The experimental and comparative groups consisted of 20 people each. In order to verify the effect of applying the early childhood mathematics education program in connection with outdoor movement activities, a total of 15 weeks of program was conducted for young children. As a result of conducting this study, it was found that a mathematics education program linked to outdoor movement activities improves the ability to manipulate objects. The discussion based on the results of this study is as follows. First, we suggest to specific activities that can be performed in an outdoor environment should be developed and applied to the field of early childhood education. Second, we suggest that It is necessary to program various subjects that link to outdoor movement activities. Third, we suggest what various measures are needed to improve the young children's ability to manipulate objects.

As Knowledge Management (KM) has taken an essential position of managing businesses in the knowledge-oriented society, many companies have adopted Knowledge Management System (KMS) into their organization. Many have questioned, however, in the result and the effectiveness in KMS. The purpose of this study is to explore ways to improve the current KMS by analyzing and identifying the causes that affect effectiveness of KMS. Blog which is an effective tool for communication could be used for KMS in order to make KMS more user friendly and more effective. This research is intended to conduct an empirical study on the differences between Blog-based KMS and Non-Blog-based KMS and suggest resolutions to potential issues of KMS. Blog-based KMS users show higher degree of satisfaction and usage toward their system. The result of this study suggests that the differences between two groups are primarily on system quality and knowledge quality, and many of these differences come from functions and characteristics of Blog.
