In real time applications, due to their effective cost and small size, wireless networks play an important role in receiving particular data and transmitting it to a base station for analysis, a process that can be easily deployed. Due to various internal and external factors, networks can change dynamically, which impacts the localisation of nodes, delays, routing mechanisms, geographical coverage, cross-layer design, the quality of links, fault detection, and quality of service, among others. Conventional methods were programmed, for static networks which made it difficult for networks to respond dynamically. Here, machine learning strategies can be applied for dynamic networks effecting self-learning and developing tools to react quickly and efficiently, with less human intervention and reprogramming. In this paper, we present a wireless networks survey based on different machine learning algorithms and network lifetime parameters, and include the advantages and drawbacks of such a system. Furthermore, we present learning algorithms and techniques for congestion, synchronisation, energy harvesting, and for scheduling mobile sinks. Finally, we present a statistical evaluation of the survey, the motive for choosing specific techniques to deal with wireless network problems, and a brief discussion on the challenges inherent in this area of research.

Cloud accounting represents a new area of accounting information systems. Past research has often focused on accounting information systems and its antecedents, rather than factors that adopt cloud accounting system. The purpose of this paper is to explain the factors that influence the adoption of cloud accounting in the financial sectors. This paper applied the technology acceptance model (TAM), technology-organization-environment, and the De Lone and Mc Lean model, coupled with proposed factors relevant to cloud accounting. The proposed model was empirically evaluated using survey data from 187 managers (financial managers, IT department managers, audit managers, heads of accounting departments, and head of internal control departments) in Jordanian bank branches. Based on the SEM results, top management support, organizational competency, service quality, system quality, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use had a positive relationship with the intention of using cloud accounting. Cloud accounting adoption positively affected cloud accounting usage. This paper contributes to a theoretical understanding of factors that activate the adoption of cloud accounting. For financial firms in general the results enable them to better develop cloud accounting framework. The paper verifies the factors that affect the adoption of cloud accounting and the proposed cloud accounting model.

This study aims to estimate the production function and total factor productivity (TFP) of Vietnamese seafood processing firms. At the same time, the study analyses the impact of internal factors of firms and the quality of economic institutions on the TFP of the Vietnamese seafood processing industry. The study uses the Function Control (FC) approach in TFP estimation and the Feasible Generalized Least Squares (FGLS) regression model in the analysis of factors affecting TFP. The study was carried out on the census data of enterprises of the Vietnamese seafood processing industry collected by the Vietnamese General Statistics Office and Provincial Competitiveness Index data of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the period from 2013 to 2018. Estimated results from the models show that: i) Vietnamese seafood processing firms are, currently, mainly labor-intensive, the TFP contribution and output is only about 2.258. ii) Factors such as the firm's age, firm's size, and the firm's ownership affect TFP. In which, firms that have few numbers of years of operation, small and medium firms, and private firms have low TFP. iii) Institutional quality and the provincial business environment have a positive impact on the TFP of Vietnamese seafood processing firms in this period.

HANSSEM is a furniture company that leads the market of residential space in Korea. The goal of this case study is to focus on how HANSSEM copes with IKEA, the world's largest furniture retailer after entering the Korean market in December 2014. IKEA's entry into Korea is possible to destroy the existing orders in the retail industry and reduce the profit of incumbent local players by realigning industry relationships. However, HANSSEM achieved rapid growth with the largest market share in the furniture market through its internal capabilities. The authors propose the main success factors in three ways: (1) residents-database including apartment floorplans in Korea, (2) high-quality human services provided by construction and A/S (After-sales Service), (3) channel diversification that provides comprehensive consultations (e.g., flagship stores, home shopping channels, stores in marts, and interior dealers). Especially, there have been various consumer needs in Korean market, such as creating their own stylish space economically. HANSSEM meets customer's needs by reinforcing the space-package (complete-interior is provided to customer in a package rather than combining individual piece of furniture) and opening showrooms, which makes customers freely experience the products and receive detailed consultations on interior designs by alleviating customers' difficulties in decorating their homes. Based on HANSSEM's outstanding activities and new investments, we look forward to seeing that HANSSEM will achieve its ultimate goal of maintaining the position of number one furniture company by attaining customer satisfaction through higher quality in Korea.

Nondestructive inspection(NDI) is a testing procedure used to easily inspect an object for internal defects, abnormalities, shape, and structure, etc. without destroying it. Typical candidates for NDI include buildings, railways, aircraft, bridges, underground pipelines and various types of factory equipment. Recent advances in nondestructive evaluation(NDE) technologies have led to improved methods for quality control and in-service inspection, and the development of new options for material diagnostics. Under frame side sill in rolling stocks is designed for preventing corrosion in order to meet mechanical requirements. However during long operation time, there are corrosion in the under frame side sill caused by environmental effect, vibration and etc. This paper introduces the methods of a survey and assessment on NDI applications in Electric Multiple Units(EMU). The main objective of this paper was to obtain information on various applications and evaluation of NDI technology in EMU.

The purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between differentiation strategy of customer’s satisfaction and the effects on performance in family restaurants. Above all, looking into a device to take an internal competitive domination factor of family restaurants is the core purpose of this study. To achieve the purpose, a survey was conducted to 278 customers of family restaurants in Seoul. The result of this survey is as follows. First, the interior of family restaurants and responsibility of their employees had an effect on customer’s satisfaction. Secondly, menu/atmosphere satisfaction and employee’s appearance influenced quality performance of restaurants. In searching information on restaurants, reference group and visiting experience were highly recommended, leading to the importance of word of mouth.

초고속 인터넷 서비스는 정보화 시대에 살고 있는 우리에게 없어서는 안 되는 존재가 되고 있다. 이에 맞추어 KT는 기존의 가입자 동선 케이블을 이용하여 초고속 인터넷 서비스를 제공하기 위해 서비스 속도 향상과 음영지역 해소를 위한 다양한 해결방안을 모색하여왔다. 그 결과로써. 옥외 통신장비를 수용하기 위한 방안으로 광전송장비를 지하에 수용할 수 있는 CEV의 필요성이 대두되었으며 CEV의 개발이 완료되는 시점이 다가옴에 따라 KT는 언제 어디서든 고품질의 인터넷 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 인프라를 갖추게 되었다.

Effects of food scandals on religious belief, human health and even on causes of death indicate that firms and consumers are vulnerable to integrity risks in the global supply chain. Mitigating the integrity risk and maintaining the credence quality products like halal food is very challenging, if not impossible. Our aim in this research is to show that supply chain integration can mitigate the halal food integrity risk. To illustrate this idea, we have conducted case studies and interviews in seven Malaysian chicken supply chain focal firms. We unpack the halal integrity risks along the supply chain, such as production risk, raw material risk, food security risk, outsourcing practices risk, service risk, and logistics risk. The research argues that supply chain integration, such as internal integration and external integration practices, could minimize the halal integrity risk. The advantages of supply chain integration in mitigating the halal integrity risk are also highlighted in this paper.

In this study, we measured and analyzed electrical noise signals present in devices and systems operated in industrial facilities. Based on the analytic findings, we studied the most effective improvement measures for eliminating such noise signals. Leakage current and ground current generate data interferences in communication systems, and therefore we measured leakage current and ground current. We also measured and analyzed electrical noises in power systems to predict noise pathways and interference routes. Furthermore, we proposed the most effective and reliable improvement measures for blocking off various noise signals and safely eliminating them by improving the internal wiring of the facilities and grounding systems. As a final step, we conducted the proposed improvement measures and confirmed that they helped to improve the operations of the device sand systems in service by re-measuring electrical noise signals and comparing them with those measured before the proposed improvement measures were implemented.
