Concrete used for radwaste container should have excellent properties such as mechanical strength, water-tightness, durability, etc. In order to improve such properties of ordinary portland cement concrete, superplasticizer, steel fiber, and/or epoxy resin were added to ordinary portland cement concrete respectively. Various concrete specimens were prepared and the physical properties of each concrete specimen were tested. From the experimental results, the properties of steel fiber and epoxy resin reinforced concrete were proved to be better qualified than others for low-and intermediate-level radwaste container.

In this paper, we introduce a general iterative algorithm for asymptotically quasi-${\phi}$-nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense to have the strong convergence in the framework of Banach spaces. The results presented in the paper improve and extend the corresponding results announced by many authors.

We study colorings of regular trees using subball complexity b(n), which is the number of colored n-balls up to color-preserving isomorphisms. We show that for any k-regular tree, for k > 1, there are colorings of intermediate complexity. We then construct colorings of linear complexity b(n) = 2n + 2. We also construct colorings induced from sequences of linear subword complexity which has exponential subball complexity.

격변 변광성의 일종인 DQ Her형 별(Intermediate Polar Star; IP)이 자기장에서 방출하는 가시광선은 자전주기에 따라 그 강도가 변한다. 이러한 쌍성계에서 백색 왜성인 주성의 주번에 자기력 선을 따라 정도의 물질이 주계열성인 반성으로부터 accretion 된다. 이 물질은 주성 표면에서 충격파로 생긴 X-선원에 의해 reemission 되는 데, 이런 현상적인 모델을 만들어 관측적으로 나타나는 자전주기에 따른 가시광선의 강도 변화를 설명하였다. 이런 결과가 IP 에서 방출되는 가시광선 관측의 분석과 이런 종류의 쌍성계가 가지는 궤도기울기, accretion rate, 공전축에 대한 자전축의 기울기, interaction radius 등의 물리적 상수를 결정하는 데 응용될 수 있음을 보이려고 한다.

The structure of the magnetic funnel element in the intermediate polar is considered in terms of an important site for the X-ray absorption and the reemission of the X-ray as the optical light. In this paper the column density and the optical depth vary with the filling factor, which is introduced to characterize the structure of matter in the magnetic funnel element. The results of the energy dependence of the X-ray spectrum and the modulation depth of the X-ray light curve are discussed.

Various dienamide derivatives were synthesized in reasonable yields from benzonitriles having an amide moiety at the ortho-position, via the sequential (i) In-mediated allylation of nitrile moiety to form an imine intermediate, (ii) intramolecular quenching of an acyl group by the imine intermediate, and (iii) a proton transfer to dienamide.

Le fort 1 osteotomy surgery is one of the most popular surgical methods for the treatment of patients with facial bone deformities. An intermediate wafer splint is used to fix the bone segment to the planned position, but there are many steps that can cause errors. To reduce these errors, we propose a method of using a surgical guide made with virtual surgical simulation.

We purified specific 31/36 kDa antigenic molecules from sparganum in different intermediate hosts (snakes and mice) and analyzed their monosaccharide compositions. Compositional analysis showed that glucose and man nose concentrations were 2-3 fold higher in the 31/36 kDa molecule purified from snakes than those from mice. This result implies that antigenic glycoproteins of sparganum from snakes might be modified in mammalian sparganosis with respect to their carbohydrate composition.

The mucoepidermoid carcinoma is a rare tumor in the lung. A case of bronchial mucoepidermoid carcinoma diagnosed by fine needle aspiration cytology is presented. The smear showed many intermediate cells with occasional mucus-secreting cells. Malignant squamous cells were not present. The cellular arrangement of intermediate cells was overlapping and grouped in ball-like fashion. These cytologic features are unique for diagnosis of this tumor.
