This project has been designed for people to experience and understand the process, importance and benefit of coal fire plants. As the biggest and first typical Korean fire plant using coal, Boryeong fire plant has had important roll for the Korean industries. Even so, people has had wrong prejudice for the fire plant in terms of environmental protection. To do these kind of rolls, this museum has been designed with theme, "Boryeong fire plant mating symbiotic relationship between nature, human and technologies." The space was zoned with five major themes: i. circulation of energy in nature, ii. electric power and eco-fire plant, iii. future energy, iv roll for future of environment, v. Korea as the leading energy industry. The design has been developed focused on spatial experiences to make 'Design Sequence' with linear circulations haying several important destinations. The interior has been finished with minimal color and materials projected by big sized movie and various LED movie system. Concept of appordance has been used to make interactive experiences between exhibits and visitors.

This study examines the influence of functional interior factors on the variation of indoor environment to propose proper elements for planning studyrooms. Several factors that should be included in planning stages of the rooms are discussed to apply appropriate conditions for a pilot study. Field measurements and survey were performed in actual apartment buildings. The influence of lighting, thermal and acoustical conditions on comfort levels were examined.

The purpose of this study is to analysis the influence in furniture and interior design of pop design. Pop design is a trend which was in fashion for a short time between 1950s and 1960s. It is an experimental transient form in a flow of postmodernism. Through such a trend, we can analogize an idea and values of people speaking for a rapid change of society and culture chat that time. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to examine what environment of society and culture and what idea had an effect on people at that time. Also, the study will examine how the above had an effect on interior design and furniture design. Considering the above results, the study will examine an influence and meaning of pop design in design history. According to the result of analysis, characteristic of pop design is anti-modern, expendability, future mood.

Although it has been suggested that lighting influences our moods, little is known about dimensionality of mood patterns. The knowledge of consumer's mood pattern in lighting condition may provide interior designers with a valuable information for the lighting design. This article investigates the underlying structure of moods occuring in lighting conditions. Meanwhile, this examines custom-ers' desired mood type of lighting, and explores the influ-ence of individual characteristics on selecting the preffered lighting moods. The result uncovers five discriminable patterns of mood-dynamic, intimate, delightful, elegant, and serene feeling results from well organized lighting system. Among the five moods, serene atmosphere appears to be the most preffered mood from respondants. It is also found that the perceived preference of lighting atmo-sphere varies across personal characteristics of the cus-tomers, socio-economic differences and the visiting pur-poses to the coffeeshop. These findings present interest-ing and potentially valuable implications for interior de-signers that proper planning of lights which inducemoods can achieve dramatic effects and aid in the cre-ation of the desired atmosphere.

According to the passage of an age, a method which communicates each other between the city and space, and space and a human has changed. Recently, as the city is developing related with the public, the sphere and a territory of activity of a public has been wider in an environment of the city. Therefore, development of night scenery and the rise of a medium of a vision are accompanied with a new material and the high-technology. Innovation of abundant techniques tends to being surface and mass media, and breaks from the architectural aspect of space as mutual expansion of relations between interior and exterior, and making a boundary obscurely. Space design represents peculiarity of non-territorial which modern art, an advertisement, a media and a reflection are integrated as getting over above tendency. As we find out methods which the public can communicate with the space in wider territory, the public and the space can extend mutual relations and the design of modern space is been varying a part as the space which has a context of city and synthetic sociality for the public by avoiding independent objects.

Through the visual and structural reflection of personal experience and movement new interpretation of space in which various activities and events take place in relation to time is realized. Many theorists argued that firms should obtain and their unique resources for sustained competitive advantage under the competitive business environment. Knowledge has been recognized as one of key strategic resource, which is scare, valuable and reasonably durable in both KM literature and practice. however, firms usually face difficulties in identifying which knowledge is a core strategic resource, so that they are wasting time and managerial energies by managing all of knowledge in an organization. This article is composed as follows, the definition of knowledge-management as the norm of the work process, the status arrangement of the knowledge-management system and the old information system of architecture and interior design, the knowledge-management system set-up method and model, and the knowledge creativity and the application culture make-up method. In particular, the present study explains the method that is applied to the use of the knowledge-management system and the application it.

Apartment, which have become the major housing style in Korea, have contributed to the development of housing culture as well as achieved a growth in volume. However, the demands and characteristics of residents have not been reflected in the apartment, because it has been developed only for a growth in volume. In this society, housing unit was the first consideration rather than common space. Therefore, a required resident-centered common space is the domestic housing market's necessity. Under this circumstance, this study investigated previous studies on interior design guidelines for common space were analyzed using Murtha and Lee's user benefit criteria which emphasizes humanity. In-depth content analysis was employed in this study. The result showed that four categories of the model were related toward more user-centered residential environment-behavioral facilitation, physiological maintenance, perceptual maintenance, and social facilitation.

The challenge to be faced in public transportation today is to satisfy human needs with the least delay, with the smallest number of accidents, and with the most economic use of energy, space, materials, man-power and money. One possible solution may lie in city train system, including AGT system. Specially, Passenger space in AGT is important to balance the budget of layout with passenger's satisfaction. This study focuses on lay-out and space, comfort which should be considered from the conceptual design stage of the interior layout work. Traditionally, the interior layout of the passenger room has emphasized ridequality and style. However, as the train becomes more prevalent and versatile, the focus also tends to shift toward layout and space to have comfortable circumstances. After all, the purpose of this research focused on arrangement a rational interior layout of the train through ergonomics research. Finally, the key was ensuring the comfortable environment based on cultural background of the passenger.

Facing the aging society in Korea, the necessity of the facility for dementia patients is gradually increasing. This study is to understand the dementia and also to provide tile basic planning guideline in designing of the interior architecture of dementia ward. In designing dementia wards, following elements such as the behavior characteristic of dementia patients, living environment, individuality and community should be considered. The sauntering road of patients, patients' privacy, rest room, bathroom in ward designing for dementia patients should be understood. Material, color, lighting and furniture and so on as an intoner composition are also major elements.
