국내 백화점 실내디자인 이미지 유형 및 구성요소 분석 연구-수도권지역 대형 백화점 1층 공간을 중심으로- (A Study on the Types of Interior Design Image and Consisting Elements in the Department Store -focused on the first floor of Department Store-)

  • The Department store of today contrary to past plays an important role in the culture of modern market, because of the development of national economy and a rise in the standard of living. The improvement of culture and the high growth of economy made a livelihood fertile, mass production and mass consumption of product based on accumulation of technology caused the industry of distribution to activate, and the change of consumption pattern and various purchasing form resulted in the distribution structure like large scale store. This study was composed of pilot study, the first research, and the second research. In pilot study, the types of interior design the first floor of large-sized department store in the Metropolitan area was classified on the basis of the image of interior design prior researched. The contemporary interior design require unique image frequently because of the qualitative enhancement accompanying segmentation and specialization of space. Especially, the emergence of foreign company along with the change of the distribution environment threaten the domestic interior design industry. Therefore, the interior design plant introducing the image elements is able to have critical influence on forming specialized space in department store. This study investigated the interior design limited to the first floor of large-sized department store in the Metropolitan area, therefore the user's preference and the problem of design in domestic department store of today was not examined well. But this study was able to explore the types of interior design image in the first floor of department store and the relation between consisting elements.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the elements forming interior design and to examine dimensional relationship among the elements which form space through the comparison of the spatial language and semiotics of space for the component of interior design. In addition to that it indtends to derive the principle of design which dominate interior design and the inherent diversified meaning by comparing those elements with the square of semiotic used in semiotics. Through this comparsion the meaning of constituent forming space which can be observed through the comparsion of square of semiotic has redefined flexbility among relational system of elements and this flexible concept make the scope of environment including human being broad and enriched. This study fist of all analyzes various phenomena of social culture review semiotics meta-learning and examines back theoretical ground of semiotics which is needed for space analysis. Second of all in the area of presenting an analysis tool for meaningful analysis this report introduces the square of semiotics which was invented,. A. J. Greimas in order to analyze the meaning of literary work and defind three categories of the progressive research method for the analysis of interior design and research itself. Finally as for the analysis of meaning for interior design this report sets the space and analyzed the space in accordance with the method and research procedure. being

  • To improve and replete many problems which are discovered the present condition and cases of interior architecture education previously, 1) Adopted the sixth semester, the ninth semester of 3 -year course of study as a reform of the school system. 2) Building up Design -basic understandings of design , Design Resources -layout course, factor course and Design Communication three -steps of systematic -educational course of methodical course fro transmitting and 3) Classifying interior space designer , interior factor designer, interior decorator, special -space designer as practical parts. 4) Divided three fields : layout, construction work, factor design , related to interior design works. 5) Also, divided like (Table-2), job-analysis and formation of relating course into layout and construction work. 6) Analyzed and (Table-3) the present condition of four domestic Junior college (Seoul and kyong -ki areas) as a case study. 7) Analyzed and surveyed (Table-4) three American colleges, sixth semester and ninth semester of three year course of study and 8) Have to solidify practical computer education, foreign language education as the terms desired keeping pace with internationalization and the changes of opening periods. 9) As above-mentioned, reenforcing the fundamental education of lower grades and needs fractionizing special education of higher grades. Finally, needs to be prepared the environments which enable to develop the marked educational goals & contents and then be exeucted, which make one do his responsibility after setting out in the world, satisfying a periods wishies : many competent experts that can be produced.

  • As a new environment, the Internet proposes to us the innovation of our life. New information technologies(IT) have enabled and stimulated new organizational forms. Electronic Commerce is the new economy that changes the pattern of our life and the form of business transaction. Electronic Commerce is rapidly growing due to the increasing of internet user and the development of information technology. With the emergence of the Internet, a totally new business, the electronic commerce(EC) is emerging. Internet EC brings in many benifits to the organization such as reduced costs, fast turnaround, better customer service, and in some firms strategic advantage over their competitors. As a newly created interior design paradigm, this proposal presents its utmost advantage, interlocking interior design firm management with virtual reality of internet. Appropriately interacting on-line with off-line in virtual reality of internet improves the image of interior design firm and makes the best use of its identity in marketing. This application can rightly attract consumers' interest. Analyzing the market, the most important thing in marketing is to anticipate consumers' existing and possible demand in future. In other word, servicing consumers with idea efficiently is competence.   • This study attempts to analyze the characteristics and changing trends of the interior design of modern Korean houses since 1960s and to understand the impacts of Western architecture and design. the photos of 101 houses were selected from the magazines published since 1960s. The data collected were analyzed via frequency percentage and average. The result reveals that the interior design of the living rooms in modern Korean houses has undergone lots of changes in finishing materials window treatments types of cabinets and use of lighting fixtures. It is concluded that 1960-1960s is a period of introducing Western design as a superior while 1980's is a period of exploring various ways toward harmony between Korean style and Western styles and 1990's is a period of settlement of koreanized modernism style.

  • The design concept of this dental clinic Interior design is emotional color expression for the medical facility. This dental clinic is showing off the new adoption of the Korean primary traditional color pallette for the medical interior design. The graphic wall of the corridor is strongly attracting the eyes of customers while wrapping the corridor wall and partition with rather unconventional primary colored graphic shaping a tooth. Also the vivid and the dynamic atmosphere are emphasized by using the red color in the treatment area and the powder room. For the space programing, I focused on the functionality of each space and the efficiency of the traffic line. Centering around the information desk, the principal traffic line Is divided Into the staffs' private movement and the public movement.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the preference of interior design, design style and color, according to consumers' life style. Data were collected from March 7th. 2002. to March 22nd. 2002 using the questionnaire. The subjects were 228 adults and frequency, percentage, mean, cross tab, F-test, factor analysis, and cluster analysis were used for data analysis. The major results of this study were: 1) The types of life style were 3: regular family oriented type, progressive fashionable type, and conservative self-manageable type. 2) This study revealed relative difference in design style and color preference according to consumers' life style. Therefore, the type of life style could be used as powerful variable in interior design and marketing of allied industries.

  • This study aims at developing the interior design method of Guest Room Space in resort condominium. There needs new concepts in Guest Room Space in resort condominium where we felt sleeping, eating, in the past. And the behavior in the Guest Room Space in resort condominium become various such as refreshing, making a group, harmony a family and so on. Nowadays, The resort condominium change to complex style and it's space design reflecting user's needs. This study treats with the design item such as unit space plan, furniture, furnishing and equipment of Guest Room Space in resort condominium. As a result of this study, the interior design methods of Guest Room Space in resort condominium must reflect of fitting material, color plan, user's needs and functional divide space. (Living, Dinning, Kitchen, Toilet and Foyer) These result will become basic data future interior design in Guest Room Space in resort condominium.

  • In general, the definition of criticism is making a constructive analysis between good & evil, right & wrong, and beauty & ugliness. Just as the literature, art, music, and architecture welcomes productive criticism in order for further advancement in each professional field, constructive criticism in the field of interior architecture must be activated stance it would be as useful as in other fields to upgrade the level of design quality If the constructive criticism were to be taken properly in the benefit of further advancement in particular design, then the criticism must hale a proper criteria in order to examine and review the design work objectively However, as the design symbolizes cultural interpretation and reaction towards better creativity, we expect design to be mutated in many different directions. As the limit of Interior architecture shares limitless possibilities in today's society, it seems that we need to set up a guidelines of design criticism in order to support the further development of the area of interior architecture.

실내디자인 이미지의 유사성 측정 - 관찰자 직관 기반 측정법과 알고리즘 기반 정량적 측정법의 결과 비교를 중심으로 - (The Similarity Measurement of Interior Design Images - Comparison between Measurement based on Perceptual Judgment and Measurement through Computing the Algorithm -)

  • We live in the era of unlimited design competition. As the importance of design is increasing in all areas including marketing, each country does its best effort on design development. However, the preparation on protecting interior design rights by intellectual property laws(IPLs) has not been enough even though they occupy an important place in the design field. It is not quite easy to make a judgement on the similarity between two images having a single common factor because the factors which are composed of interior design have complicated interactive relations between them. From the IPLs point of view, designs with the similar overall appearance are decided to be similar. Objective evaluation criteria not only for designers but also for design examiners and judges are required in order to protect interior design by the IPLs. The objective of this study is the analysis of the possibility that a computer algorithm method can be useful to decide the similarity of interior design images. According to this study, it is realized that the Img2 which is one of content-based image retrieval computer programs can be utilized to measure the degree of the similarity. The simulation results of three descriptors(CEDD, FCTH, JCD) in the Img2 showed the high degree of similar patterns compared with the results of perceptual judgment by observers. In particular, it was verified that the Img2 has high availability on interior design images with a high score of similarity below 60 which are perceptually judged by observers.
